Does not allow you to go back and edit levels you already made. Should be able to share and import and export. Controls are limited. Should be a PC version so it would be easier to map out custom GRAVITRAX layouts. After putting in a lot of time if you make a mistake the only way to correct it is to start over. I have bought 2 sets, 2 expansion sets, 2 expansion loopings, 2 expansion hammers, 2 Magnetic Cannons so far.
I love the app and agree with earlier reviewers request for a limit feature to just those sets you own. In addition to that I noticed a bug which is keeping me from giving the app a full 5 stars. I recently purchased the tunnels add-on and seem to be unable to place a vertical u-turn if both ends are on additional layers. If one end is on the base plate and the upper end is on the first layer it places just fine. If one end is on a second layer and the bottom end is on the first layer (at the same height distance used in the first example) it won't place the vertical u-turn.
Great supporting (and gateway) app for the excellent gravitrax range - some minor improvements needed: 1) The app does not work with touchscreen stylus. Could this be added? 2) Its really hard to see where items are being placed could they be offset so the user can see better? 3) The physics logic in the app may need to be checked. I am seeing behaviour in the app that I can't replicate with the actual gravitrax set. - There other other minor issues but I don't have room here to add them.
Works great and user-friendly. I hope they can add online feature to share and download other player's designs. Also to be able to print out instructions or export to .pdf would be great. Finally, it's hard on the eyes on the small screen, a PC version would be great!
UPDATE March 2022: The Chromebook capability which Ravensburger broke in version 2.1 has been restored in version 2.2 for my Google Pixelbook Go. They have also corrected some limitations. Now you can place clear platforms directly on the baseplate, and also build them directly on top of each other.
Very good complementary tool for Gravitrax builders! Something that could be added: to let you be able to select sets you have and thus the app would limit what you can build (and show which parts you are missing). Also, an online version would be really neat, synchronized with this Android app - on a large screen building is much better than on a phone or tablet.
amazing concepts with potential! Everything about this app is amazing and well executed. is allows access to guides that come with the starter kit as well as a sandbox for custom levels. the only suggestions would be to allow users to upload their creations and post them publicly. it would be great to have inspiration among the community. the tasks and challenges would be fun to browse through as well. maybe a filter option to add or remove the expansions you own for easy navigation.
Great app, I have gravitrax price physically and prefer building with those but this has something I really wanted: blueprints, I remake run I made physically so I can always rebuild them, it also has step by step instructions of how to build your creations in real life! I do have one main problem though, when in play mode you can't choose which marble to spectate or what color it will be, otherwise, perfect gravitrax app
The control and ui is good, it is very fun to think a loop design with the different type of parts. As the previous comment from others, i agree that it would be great for sharing our own design to others if it is one of function of the Apps.
It is really fun to play. My only problem: gravitrax pro costs real money. And that it cost more on Android than ios. Plus, I am an android user. So can you please make the price equal? And I also have a suggestion for you. It is that you should make the graphics better. Do those to make me keep playing.
Love the toy. It's super fun and educational. But this app drives me crazy with its limitations and rules. Can't figure it out. Had it for two weeks. I lost patience. Sorry not for me. I'll stick to the real thing, until the app gets easier.
I've been playing this game for a long time . it is very fun and the physics is good. My problem is that there are parts I don't know the use of. The developer should add the use of these parts in the tutorial. Other than, it's fine.
Please make the app compatible with Chromebook, my daughter has a very capable chromebook and the app won't run on it.
Wont let me finish the tutorial wich should be skipable anyway. Gets stuck on the "scroll down to view all used parts" no matter how far down you scroll
Was very happy to find this for my son, but after the PRO pieces came out, he started to dislike the game. Which caused him to not play with the set he had. We checked the PRO packages online, and you decided to make it very expensive, we were not happy. 3 ***
This is wonderful. The controls are a bit wonky at times, but nothing serious or bothersome. It would be nice if there was PC support, but oh well.
Before you add gravitrax pro all of the components dont need to be buyed. Now there are components that need to be payed. And the components from gravitrax pro have better funcionality so no one will struggle. Though for the new free components it's cool and useful because of pipelines. But why it must be hexagon when you can use square grids? Also there should have been select mode so it will take shorter time. AND YOU NEED TO ADD THE COMPONENTS NAME. Or i have to made up the cpn name. Thats it
