It ended up being more straight forward, understandable and comprehensive than other test prep you can pay for, providing functional and accurate vocab flashcards, test questions, and easy to understand video tutorials. Given the amount of effort that went into making a video for every question I've seen so far, the purchase is well justified.
Really like that you can download offline videos to watch on the go. Would be nice if you could have an option to redo incorrect problems on the app ( this is available via website). But as an on the go studying tool it's very good. I did have some problems of being able to play some of the offline videos I downloaded.
Having video explanations explaining how to solve the problem after you do it is huge. In settings you can set the speed for the videos. In a video a few minutes long they explain math concepts that I finally actually understand.The app is essential if you are using the web version and clicked adaptive because on the web version you can only click on the incoming "recommended to increase your score" segments. On the app you can click on any video. Way more fun than big boring books.
Magoosh app is really straightforward and easy to use. After purchasing an account, you'll have access to videos and test materials. Videos are divided into playlists based on their subject nature. There are so far 3 downsides that I've found in this app: firstly, you cannot customize tests, and secondly review options of the past questions are not built into the app, and finally, you cannot bookmark a video or take video specific notes.
This app was really great,as it helped me prep for the test on the go. I could prepare with it anywhere, anytime. The support team are super understanding and prompt. The videos are easy to understand and concise. The questions are also really great and they are very similar to the test ones, unlike some of the other apps. Overall, Magoosh is a great service.
It's handy but I think desktop version is superior. Mobile app can be used for a quick test but for videos I would recommend the website. As the website has options to control speed and take notes.
The support is amazing, I haven't had luck with my scores because I am a very older student and not English native speaker and and sometimes I get really frustrated with the obscure words and or crazy math but other than that I think it is worth the money you spend on this site. I haven't had any problems with customer service . Five stars!!!
The app keeps freezing and going to a black screen. Because if this I cannot complete any of the practice tests. I think the questions are great, but I give this app a 2 star review because of the problem mentioned above. Please fix the glitches in your program!!
Uninstalled and just used the website instead because you can't use the filter options on the questions, which basically makes the whole app pretty useless for people trying to follow the study plan. Also can't change the speed of the videos. 3 stars because I like Magoosh in general, but this app needs work.
This is a good app. My only issue is it doesn't seem to recognize that I have a paid premium account on the website, even when I'm logged in. Aside from that, it runs well and I really like the lesson videos. The math ones are so helpful. Thank you for making the concepts easier to understand.
First time studying for the GRE and I can confidently say, I hate it. The app, on the other hand, has been helpful so far in improving my English vocabulary. Having practice Math and Verbal exams gives a nice base of how to study for the GRE. The video study guides are good refreshers on material and provide great tips on how to handle each individual question provided
Some classes don't complete, I don't know what's the reason, some just stop half way. Apart from this challenge it's a good app generally and a great tutoring material with clear explanations.
A lot easier than studying with my computer. I can study at on the go, so it's no longer an event I need to prepare for. Also, there is a progress tracker for math and verbal sections that shows how many hours the course is, how many hours you've watched, and your completion rate.
Provides a very good practice for the GRE but the reason I'm not giving a 5 star is because I have to download different apps for the GRE vocabulary flashcards, another for the maths skills, etc. It would be a really great app if all related materials are in a single app. Besides, it would also increase your app's downloads.
The videos provide a clear knowlerge about a particular topic and shows plenty of tricks to save time. Nothing can be better than this. I enjoy listening to their videos.
I've only had this app for a little whole, but it's already making me feel more confident about taking the test. Specifically the math videos are very simple and teach you a lot of great tips and tricks
I love the fact that it's is available on the move. the video lectures are great and teach good skills and tricks. it's is a very good option for people who work and need to study.
i downloaded the app, but after a week the lesson videos will not play. I noticed im only able to play the video on magoosh website. definitely a glitch. the developers need to fix asap. i give it 2 star because the videos are not playing but the quality of magoosh content is 5 stars. im surprise that there has not been a fix yet.
You need to subscribe to get full access. Works well. I've been able to study on the road with their "download video" feature. Just I wish the practice problems were on here as part of the daily lessons (like on the computer version)
I paid for premium but there are glitches where my videos do not play. The video lessons are helpful but it is so frustrating to have glitches especially when you paid close to $200 for the app.
There is a problem in the app. With first installation I can play videos normally. But opening the app for next attempts, when I click on play button, videos are not playable. I hope you will fix it soon.
It gives you a complete plan that you can follow. The videos are easy to understand and the explanation for questions is remarkable. And to top it all, the customer services is very very helpful! Very happy with my experience with Magoosh!

I'm not able to do custom practice and if I click "End practice and See Results" there was a black menu bar showing earlier, now its not present. Magoosh GRE is the worst app, from 1 months same issue is coming... I'm accessing the website through browsers and not app.
Overall really wonderful. Only downsides: you can't take notes on the videos or enable subtitles (both are possible with the browser version)
Great tips and advice. Videos were clear and helpful. If I had found it more in advance, I would have considered getting Premium. Be aware that a lot is locked in the free version.
Decent problems that are challenging and from what I've read, similar to the GRE. The interface is straight forward and easy to navigate. Only downside this far is upon exiting a testing session in the app. You can flag problems for review later on but once you exit, that's it. You have to start over again with a different problem set. It's a great app though considering it's free with no intrusive ads.
