Great Battles Medieval

Gold game. It looks old, but that is expected from an mid 2010's released game. Great infantry combat and army customization. (Mini Total War) Love the (mostly) historically accurate setting and background movies. Also I like that the game shows the view from both the French and English perspective as well as it contains a skirmish mode for endless replayability. Don't know what everyone is yapping about but 7 bucks is a steal. Can be played with touchscreen or controller. Controller is better.

At first I gave this 4/5, but then as I continued playing I ran into some MAJOR bugs (sometimes the grid and soldiers were invisible, some where there were dozens of soldier models where no units were available; game kept crashing) but then after only 2 levels, the game requires you to pay some 7$ for the full experience. I wouldn't mind paying if it had said upfront that the game couldn't be fully played without paying, but the glitches make this price unacceptable, better if it was free w/ ads

A fun little game with some promise, despite the clunky controls and awkward ui. I also enjoyed the dramatised history lessons between battles. My review would be higher if it was a genuine free to play. The free download equates to a demo of only half a dozen battles and although the price to unlock the rest is reasonable, I don't feel the game is really worth it.

Good Game I would have to say with the H for History channel I expected it to be descent. This is more a demo than game, unless you pay the money to unlock all levels, games and ECT. I enjoyed myself wishing I could play on, but for the $6.99 it stopped me right there.

Almost as ancient as he battles themselves! No updates to bring it in line with newer versions of android. Launched the game, had many pop ups telling me it was made for older versions of android and may not work as intended, took one look at the actual game when it started and uninstalled.

all id wish is to include some more features to the non-payed stuff like an extra general Armor and stuff, maybe a few more missions because i owned the paid version but one day it said i had to buy it even though i already had but all around it is a great game it is definitely one of the best rts on here, and i Love how it teaches history while being alot of fun, and the thing i want the most is too be individual customization so you could choose your soilders appearances a little more

An old time classic i had on the xbox as a child. Nothing quite compares. Everything is very simple and basic, which to me is a god send as I find a lot of new games have too much. It doesn't offer a lot but what it does offer it does in a exquisit way

at first, it's fun phone tier Total War, but after mission 4; you forced to buy this, right after 1/2y time length of skirmishing villages, right after half year of boring grind, they even give AI huge advantage so you must hire pavise crossbowmen & / or swiss merc literally free only up to 3-5 total mission/campaign(2-3 skirmish for coins & skill strategy card thingy) even entire product is worth below 3$; rating 0.5/5.0

Overall it's an interesting set up. Not terribly difficult to start. History buff in me likes the campaign, app user in me wishes it was a bit more detailed.

It's an out standing game. Just when I decided to purchase the rest of the campaign it didn't bring anything up after selecting yes. I've closed it 5 times and tried but it still didn't bring anything up after selecting yes.

Well,its a really good game.It can teach you something about the hundred years war.My problem is the campaign is so hard i tried to defeat the 2nd level in england with just 4 units.And please make the Sandox free so the game can be more enjoyable

Started as 5 stars the game is great I only crashed one time but you only get about 15 minutes game time before you have to pay 7 freaking dollars for it and with the clunky controls and crashing I'm not paying for that

It's short, extremely fast paced, but has a lot of potential. I'm cheap and poor so of course I wish it were free but o well.

Pretty ok. Playing on an Android Samsung tablet haha, down side also to literally continue the campaign, you would have to purchase either the story or the story packs. Haha, so it was fun until that hit.

After paying full price to purchase the game when it was released on the app store and playing it for many hours. I had to delete it for other stuff on my phone. Now that I've come back to it, I'm being asked to pay to play the whole game I payed for. What happened and why is it like this.

I've played this before I just redownloaded now The only that still make me play this game is that it has a good plot but I wish there was more than 2 plots Not just France and England Maybe add Rome Germany you know just to make the game bigger and more enjoyable.

Fun game! Each battle can be fought differently tactically every time. It would be nice to see it expanded

Great game, overall. But I do hope, developers would consider adding a cloud save feature for us gamers to be able to save our game progress online. Until then, I would rate this game with 5 stars.

What is this we need to pay to access English campaign, sorry I give you 1 star for that I only play 2 campaign and the 3 we need to access/pay. I'm starting to like it but I need to pay , not my style playing games paying to have access

Great battles and good movements. Overall a great game.maybe more sophisticated battle arenas or castles to conquer. Keep up the brill work guys.

This is by far the best historical game you can play on a mobile device right now. Please make more games like this. Maybe one for the American Revolution or WWII or something. Great game

The only reason this is a good game is because it's a console port. Developers need to stop copy pasting android games and look at real time strategies for inspiration.

I love this game, I really wished that they added more factions or time era's and campaigns. But this is a really old game so I understand.

great game but keeps sending me back to the same levels in campaign,ive raided the villages of picardi more times than I can remember...HELP!!!

It is fantastic ,I always wanted a game like this A real time war game but it all about french and English . U can do other medieval country period battle game .war elephant will make good scene but appart from that I love the game

I like it, but I wish the full thing wasn't so expensive. I know it's based on an Xbox game so that's the reason for the price point, but that time has long passed.
