Great Divide Trail

The Great Divide Trail stretches from the Canada-U.S. border at Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, through the Canadian Rocky Mountains to Kakwa Provincial Park in British Columbia.

The guidebook lists every waypoint in order by distance along the trail and how far away you are from each waypoint. The guidebook also includes a detailed town guide for major resupply points, towns, and services along the GDT.

Edit: Really useful app, but android users should choose to use the consolidated Guthook app instead of this standalone app--the elevation profile is much more useful there. Thank you for the quick customer service and helping to solve my problem!

I bought the full mapset thinking it's be the full Great Divide Trail. It's not. It's just the bit that's in Canada. It specifies that in a few areas, but not in others. I feel ripped off, it honestly seems designed to fool you into thinking you are buying the entire trail. I thought Canada was the free part, which was why it was in the logo.

Have relied extensively on this app on the CDT, AT, AZT, and GDT. I'd still be walking around lost in the woods without it. Only reason I didnt have it for the PCT is that it didnt exist back then. Great customer service too. This is the go to app for these long trails.
