Every single time I login, and then logout, then log back into the app it says that my password is No longer valid!, and then it requires me to call the customer service number in order for them to unblock my account! Because of the app not working correctly! This is been happening for the last 24 months "Monthly" and they continue to say that they will fix it but yet there is no updates or work fixing for this issue/bug Every single time it seems to be weekends! Greater Bank has gone from being customer focused to borderline frustrating. The app is great but has its flaws. Greater bank utilises a security measure where your account is blocked if you enter the wrong authentication code. Coming from a developer background, I can confirm that this method of security is unnecessary and serves no use other than to frustrate the customer. Don't recommend them if you value anytime access to your funds when you need.
TO THOSE WHO RUN ANDROID 4.3 JELLY BEAN, THIS APP IS UNUSABLE. This app works great on iOS, but is useless on android. Specifically on Sony Xperia Z, which is what I use. When I try to access mobile banking, it keeps saying connection error, when my phone signal and home wifi are at full strength. It may be an issue with my android version, which is Version 4.3 Jelly Bean, or a bug with the app itself. Please fix this. It is urgent that I have regular access to my mobile banking on the go.
The app will open to the login button, but as soon as you press it, it says that 'Unfortunately, Greater Bank app has stopped'. The entire app is innaccessable! Not sure if this is just Android (5.1) or otherwise, but I have had issues online as well. Hope there is a fix soon!
I prefer using the app over internet banking, this app is very easy to use and the UI is simple and easy to understand and navigate. unlike some bank apps that are way too confusing, this app is very straightforward in what it offers.
Very confusing. It tells you that if you want to activate your new card ( that was meant to be sent out a month pior via mail which it wasnt and came a day before it was stopped) by clicking on the top right hand side of yr screen and then click on...activate my card. This is on the mobile app which according to " the powers that be" is the simplest option people take. There is no righthand side easy access to activating your card. It doesnt exist. No righthsnd top of pg at all. No joy here
Ok for paying bills and transferring funds. Can't activate your cards even though they tell you to use the app and click on an imaginary 'Activate Your Credit Card' Button. Spent 20 damn minutes looking for a button they plain forgot.
Difficult to find the information you need and did not appear to make all the information you might want available. Counterintuitive navigation.
After the last update every time I touch the login icon the greater app crashes/closes. Is there anything that can be done to rectify this it has been rock solid for years before this and I use it alot....
very poor service of youe bank as well as this application. i tried to login multiple times using mpin but all waste. pathetic application of bank i ever seen. also in setting menu unable to find any signin option. please help me with the same.
Behind the times. Can't pay for anything via tap and go. NFC is not included. Get up with the times greater.
Hate this app. It's slow and it freezes all the time especially when trying to log on.
The 4 digit password wont allow me to access all the accounts i have. As a business owner i need a more reliable system that doesn't make access to my own accounts more difficult than it needs to be.
Almost perfect, just needs one small addition: Show a "total" below all bank accounts, would be helpful for anyone managing a handful of accounts who would like to see how much they have across all their accounts at a glance.
Really like this app so far. It's very easy to use. I do however wish it said what time the funds where transferred so I know how long it'll take in the future. Still a very good app apart from that minor detail.
This bank app helps doing all my banking online & it's easy as,very helpful with all the things u need to do in the bank is right at your fingertips.100% Great app for all it banking needs all in one place.
Good enough as a bank offering and app, but the fraud detection is terrible and has resulted in multiple account locks for everyone I know who banks with Greater Bank, where you need to go out of your way to call them to unfreeze your funds.
Everything about this app, and the bank behind it is brilliant except the tiny Osko limit. Nab let me transfer 14k today greater won't let me send 6. It really cheeses me off. I don't want to have to ring and spend 20 minutes trying to identify myself to get my own money today, not next week.
After having a problem of being locked out when I tried to login with a new cell phone thankfully I managed to get back to smooth operations again. Aside from that hiccup it's a great app
Crashing, yesterday my wife had issues signing in, and today it's my turn. What's going on GB..? Have reloaded App etc... still issues, " I WANT MY MONEY"..!!!
Simple to use, does everything I need to do with internet banking. Haven't used computer for banking since installing this app on tablet.
Great app. Can you please add the ability to save a custom search? Would enable a 1-tap search of a particular amount of money/date range. Thanks.
Can Not log in to App as the numeric and alpha are opposite way round. Need to fix your app as no one can log in!
My only quarrel is that I need to manually select Osko as the payment type for every payment. Perhaps an option to set Osko as the default? Near perfectly functioning app otherwise.
Just got my first job. I use greater bank to take care of my money. And also get interest monthly. Highly recommend this app if your a Greater bank user.
It's great but Evey time I go to log in it tells me my password is wrong and I have to either call or change my password and it's god damn annoying and frustrating
Still can't use Google Pay in 2020. The App is also very basic design and UI wise. Really feels out of date.
I cannot access any information, I put my password in/finger print recognition and it says connection error. I have closed and re-opened the app. I have turned the phone on and off. And I have even Uninstalled and re-installed the app and still the same. Worst thing is this has been happy whilst I have been on holidays. Please sort this out asap, thank you
