There is much to like about this: ease of use, clear directions, a range of banking features that are practical & needed from time to time. The security is excellent. In using the inquiry section, my questions are clearly & thoroughly answered, in a timely manner. GICU is a solid banking/credit union; I plan to rrmain with them!
Works great on my phone. I wish it would work on my laptop without having to go through a confirmation process EVERY TIME I USE IT. So annoying. Update During pandemic I could hardly see my account. Useless . . .
Slow with updates, very old style for the layout, not user friendly, hardly works, online banking down multiple times a month. Though you can use your fingerprint to sign in so I guess that's neat or something. I had it at 1 star but I'm going to give a pity star because I feel bad.
Only complaints are it runs really slow sometimes and won't let you access ur bank info but thats not all the time & check deposit sucks, won't focus in on the check; it'll say it's deposited then 2 days later you get a notification saying it wasn't bc the pic wasn't good enough otherwise the app is super convient 👍
Locked out constantly. I try to log in with my fingerprint, login failed 1 attempt remaining. I go to my computer, because that's where I changed my password for the 8th time in 4 months when getting completely locked out and having to call customer service during work hours. I know I updated the 8th new unique password in my password manager, just need to log in... Now my account is locked again. I purposefully logged in to the app using the new password after being forced to change it. FTA
What happened? This app worked fine a couple of weeks ago. Now, as soon as I log in and request a code sent to my phone, the program breaks and it gives me a internet connection error even though my connection is just fine.
I've been trying to log in on this app for weeks. I'm just trying to see the remainder on my car loan and I can't log in. App says to come back later and also that their fixing the issue. 3 weeks and can't log on really!!!
Took me over 15 log in attempts to get past the log in screen without crashing or showing a blank screen. Once I finally got in it allowed me to remote deposit my check but crashed right after and wouldn't let me log back on. Hopefully this is fixed because I'd love to use the app over the website.
Easy to use and alerts are immediate. I hit the wrong key when logging in and an alert went straight to my phone
I like the detailed way the running transactions are displayed so if I've made a balancing mistake I can easily find it.
Had a few issues with authentification at first. It makes me feel a little more secure in this world of people calling to verify purchases I made on Amazon, I do not shop on amazon yet, lol and some verification about an iphone, I have a bison phone, I wouldnt buy an apple. So you can see how this app helps me make sure my money is ok
Occasionally have a problem with depositing a check but almost always will go on a second try and I use this function quite a bit.
Honestly it crashes and has lots of issues when I need it the most. Its very convenient when it does work tho.
Useable, but only just. The online banking used to be intuitive and easy. The new website and app are not that.
Allows me to check my accounts at a glance easily and clearly. Previously, I was getting error messages at sign in. It's working fine now.
completely broken on pie.. main page loads to show amounts in accounts for about .5 seconds and then nothing.. just a blue screen
its a lot faster after the update. but good luck launching it with data. i can only get it to load if im on wifi
The App NEVER connects. There is ZERO reason why I should have to restart my phone or wait 5 minutes for an app to connect.
this is a great app. it make banking easy. i love greater iowa credit union hands down best bank ever. willing to help a person build credit. WONDERFUL

the app is great. when anything goes wrong call the 800 number and they fix it right away.
It's user friendly and i like that it gives end balance after transaction.
it works each and every time I use it on the first try. never no hic-ups! in logging in!
sometimes the log in doesn't work but that's rare. otherwise it is a good app and easy to use.
Having upgraded the app over the course of 3 years, it has become very user friendly.

Great app for just about anything, I'm still having trouble with depositing checks . Some room for improvement.
Won't let me login. Just says connecting to the bank and never actually does.

Used to work far better. Now mobile deposit stinks. Won't focus properly on checks and picture is dark. Only works if I uninstall the app, then reinstall. And that only works once, then I have to repeat that process. Have made multiple requests for help with no response. I live out of state, so mobile deposit is crucial and if this isn't fixed I may have to leave the bank.
