As a Bible students, sometimes we want to simply read scripture and contemplate God's word. At other times, for example in a Bible Study with others, we might want to look at the original language or perform a word study. For some, there might be a need or desire to study and learn the original languages and word forms.
Our goal is to have a Bible app that rises to the level of our study need … the equivalent of carrying a Study Bible, a Strong's concordance, a couple interlinears, a notebook to write your thoughts, and a study guide … all in your shirt pocket.

File paths are missing. Apparently the developer stopped supporting this app. Though apparently used to be very good, it is useless as it is.
This is my 3rd phone to download this app. Got the DBs to download on N7 by granting storage permissions.
Was recommended by a friend, app looks good but unable to download the databases/web.db file to complete installation. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon, look forward to using the app
It's not a download issue; I found the file path and the required files are simply not on the server anymore. For those interested, the Bible version used in the screenshots seems to be WEB.
I tried for an entire day to d/l the.required files on a high-speed connection and the app continually failed. Very disappointed because I wanted this app to be usable.
It didn't work at all moth in would open couldn't find files
Bit confusing to use; unable to highlight, and relocate "pins", and saves everything to clipboard. Good thing it's free. I had high hopes for this.
Layout is difficult to read, app crashes after few clicks
Does not work at all. Would not downloaded necessary files and kept crashing.

The app said files were missing and wanted to save 600 mb of data on my phone. Why were these files missing? And didn't download with the app? It didn't say this was an update. Odd.
I am not able to download all the file and therefore can't open it. It failed. Anyone encountered this? How u solve it? Thx.

Would not load files on Android phone. Kept crashing.
I purchased this for my droid since I use this extensively on my iPad. I recommend it highly for the iPad... However on the droid all it does is give you a screen saying it wants do download files. I have uninstalled twice and real installed. Same problem. I have tried loading the data to the phone or the SD card, no difference. I am hoping that this is a server problem as I would really like to have this on my phone. Advise: wait until the problem is fixed.
Since the update download my Greek and Hebrew study Bible has not worked. Keep getting download to phone or download to sd card I give it a thumps down
It does not install the files
Using the Interlinear, when you select a Greek/Heb word it goes to the definition page. It defines the word and list the verses where it is used. If you click on any of the verse references it crashes instead of taking you to the bible verse. (Using tablet Google Nexus 7) It could also do with improving the navigation. When you select a book and chapter it does not jump to the passage. You need to hit the back key to go to the bible :( But I still think this is an amazing tool and I will be recommending it.
Works great on optimus f3. On initial startup it hangs but opening it a second time it loads fine. This has happened 4 times in a row reinstalling. Its a non issue as all features work perfectly. Its easy to navigate and use.
I just bought this a few days ago. I've already used it several times just for personal inquiry into the original language. I love that the interlinear words are linked to a concordance. The commentary portion is a little awkward in that it is all in pdf format. It's not too bad to navigate once you find the control and use the table of contents. One problem I have is that my commentary is incomplete. I would guess about 20 whole books of the Bible are simply not covered. But what IS there is very thorough.
This is the best bible app I have ever used. Most people give up before downloading the database which is required after installation. And some wrongly assume that the app is no longer supported by the developer. THIS is what you should do: 1) Download the app 2) Go to Settings -> Apps 3) Select the app (Greek and Hebrew Study Bible) 4) Select Permissions 5) Check "Storage" (to allow the app to store the database files on your device) 6) Once you are done with the above steps, close the settings and open the application 7) select the option to download the database files
