Logs me out daily and no setting to stay logged in. Quite frustrating. Also would help if it had improved search or sorting features. I often see a post on Twitter of a new article, but nearly impossible to find it in the app.
I have a digital subscription and yet when I try to open a story to read, it blocks me and tells me that I don't have a subscription. Very frustrating
Installed the app. Paid for subscription. Would not allow me to sign in because of an error with the app. Trying to support the local paper but free donations don't cut it. I'll get my needs elsewhere.
As a software product engineer nothing frustrates me more than using an app that was poorly developed. I like reading the news, so please fix the UX with this app and cache the credentials so I don't have to login everyday.
Would be 0 if it was an option. Paying for an electronic subscription, only to be stuck with a dysfunctional app, is extremely frustrating. And yet the PG wonders why they continue to lose subscribers...
This app constantly kicks out and requires me to log in again. Happens at least twice a week.
I love the paper and often buy it , but when I can't I read on the app
Keeps Logging Me Out and then I get a server error when I try to log back in
they never change their articles on the weekends and very little change during the week.
Opens to articles instead of epaper.
Missing free print chronicles advertisment & or, just court records? Seehafer news does Just as negligent Gannett careless doesn't care?
Logged in and app demands a new subscription to see packers pages. In Green Bay.
The app it's self supplies the headline news. But things like Insider only partially work. For instance they have contests that members enter to win trips, tickets, etc... You can enter daily or hourly. This process works fine on my laptop but I cannot enter from my cell or tablet.
Great local news!
Very handy and easy to read.
I like the new design of the app. The ads are still annoying, but not as obtrusive as they were in the old version.
Paid subscription and I still get ads? I guess that's still the norm with print. Wish there were no ads but that's my only knock against this app. It's clean and minimalistic which is great.
Pay $12 a month and still have adds. First I thought it was $12 a year. It's not worth it and I will be canceling before the month is up.
Love it
I cannot open links. When I select a link it locks up and I am forced to close the app.
It is hard to read an article with the blinking advertisements. Otherwise a great app for reading news on the go.
Force close the first time I tried to open. What a joke. Can't wait until this liberal slanted "news" paper goes out of business. We get this stupid paper only for the coupons and to start fires in our fireplace.
The app is laid out nicely and i like it EXCEPT that frequently i am unable to open articles and the app is forced to close. Very frustrating when you are looking forward to reading said article(s) Needs fixing otherwise good
Whenever I try to open a story, screen locks and stops working.
Great info and access.
You have to buy a subscription
I have the app set on notifications but whenever one pops up I can't read it because of black on black text. This is a irritating flaw that really lowers the quality of the app significantly. In addition when you go to click on the notification to read it it does not appear on the app site itself so I still can't see what the notice was about even when I click into the app
One of the best app layouts I've seen in a while. Clean and intuitive. Love how you can just sweep to the next article without having to constantly hit the return button. Also can adjust font size and text will adjust to screen width. Sounds simple but when you increase font size on a lot of apps, you then have to keep scrolling left and right to read it. To the reviewer who gave it 1 star, it clearly states in the description that you have to be a subscriber. Don't blame the app, blame the newspaper.
Samsung SIII This is exactly what I was missing from my GBPG subscription. Provides updated news throughout the day and great local sports coverage.
They keep double charging my account; however, they insist that they haven't double charged me. It's very expensive. WBAY is free.
