It's a fantastic idea but there are so few participating cafes it makes it hard to swap the cups. When I did go to a cafe today the cups were dirty and covered in dust. The cafe owner just said, "so few people use them so they just sit there and collect dust. I had to sort through them to try and find a clean cup. I am happy to help the environment, but won't be using green caffeen if the cups are dirty.
This is a great initiative but the app needs some work. More often than not I'm trying to scan the code and the app tells me my payment details can't be verified. It would also be useful if it could be developed in a way that data is not required. Often in my building there's no service at the cafe.
The cafe finder function does not work. The location settings were turned on and the app updated, but still nothing comes up in the search.
Love the concept! The app seems easy to use too. The only problem I have is that there are not enough participating cafes in Melbourne, therefore I'm unlikely to use it unless travelling.
I have no cups checked out in my account as I had returned the cup on the 2nd of February.However, I got charged the fee two days ago. I am very disappointed and frustrated over this issue. If this issue is not resolved I will contact my bank for fraud.
Great initiative great app. Adding the ability to favourite cafes would be awesome. Samsung phone and always have to enter the code.
The only place i have found in my area is the Medowie Macadamia farm. App is easy to use there, wouldnt mind a "tab" that shows green caffeen sites in my area. Otherwise all good. ☕
Love the idea! But i can't locate cafes using cafe finder. I'm using Galaxy Note 8 Android V9 if that helps. Thanks! For the meantime im just using the website.
$12.99 for a coffee. No thanks! It's supposed to be a free app and that price is a penalty if you forget to return a cup, but I have no cups to return. These people are just a cash cow, exploiting the eco friendly market and squeezing their monetary teets, don't fall for it!!
This app is amazing and we have so many great participants on the Barrington Coast. Wonderful work guys.
Despite allowing location services the app won't search the area I'm in, so i can't tell which cafes are participating.
This app had errors but fun and great to use. And I love saving the environment. Thank you.
Green and clean for my Caffeen! Societal change is a slow process and this group is doing it step by step. Get on board and be a part of the change you want to see in the world. It couldn't be made simpler.
Its very particular with the scan. I dont think it likes samsung androids

The cups were made of plastic so it was never going to take off.
Don't!!! You might be offered a free coffee but you will pay down the line a multiple.
I like the concept but no way in hell am I giving you a payment method (I pay in cash anyway).
Can't see any participating cafes in Canberra, is it the app, the newness of the concept or the user?
can not comment as yet as I have only just downloaded the app and have not gotten a cup or gone to supporting cafe yet

Great concept. App easy to use. Love it!
Wonderful idea and never had a issue for at least 1.5 years of using. Occasionally scanning doesn't work but usually down to light or worn out barcode. Entering code is no issue. Group feature is a huge plus too!
