It used to work great. With Xiaomi 11 nothing. Regardless of what I do, it won't hibernate. Just gets frozen on one app likes of Gmail and nothing. I have given every permission needed, also have the paid version. Don't bother with it unless you really want to get annoyed.
Developer knows the issue, but do nothing. ::: Not able to activate donation package-festures, i never had this problem before?! ::: Still not fixed, problem only occurs on new (Android 10 or newer) Android-releases. Not problem with older Android (see apps latest update). Plus I have no such a issue with any other apps, so it must be app-issue. Donation package last update was 7 years ago, maybe it's not fully compatible with modern system (even when Google may claim otherwise).
Used to work great, now no longer thinks it's registered (if it's counter piracy your being ott). The actual program also no longer works correctly, it shuts down a single item then just stops. I would avoid purchasing till they fix some of the bugs occuring in more recent devices (older devices android 9 and below still work as normal licencing issues still happen though)
The free greenify is more safety and reliable, but this donation packages is not safe. I had to reset my phones, because there is no backup option either button or gestures to stop systems from crashed. Overall this apps is still helpful, but the warning messages really isn't massive. That is why I do curious then ignores all of the warning messages which is far from negative because this apps is just so great at hibernating or make stop working apps without uninstall them.
Play store information failure. Greenify is a beaut of an app, not useless waste of energies like the majority. Like play store for instance, needs to provide info at correct time. Buy, ok. Thanks for purchase but the app wasn't designed for your phone and may not work. WTS. Tell me that before I purchase. Come the heck on. So. Not good way to start but I hope it does work. I'd like to be more involved with responsive Devs. Apps could be great if devs and users shared info. 🧐
Works decent except it doesn't stop You Tube, Amazon Google or My Verizon from running in the background. Doesn't give any way to stop them with the app either. I still have to go into settings and do it manually.
This key hasn't been updated since 2013 and every time I do a fresh install it says that it's for an older version of greenify. Surprise: greenify has been updated, so why can't the key be updated as well?
The best app that really stop apps that you defined. It is not like other TaskKiller apps that try to stop or kill process and mostly fails. Instead this app use "Force Stop" option at mobile Settings/App Manager/ and do it real good. After years of using this app on many android devices, Finally I bought donation pack and Now, It give me the list of system apps too. I am happy after these years they did not add any unnecessary features to it to make it system resource eater! 😀✌️ Thanks
I've been using this app for a while now and figured it was time to upgrade to the paid version. I'd like to thank the developer for making the most powerful and versatile battery saver utility on Android, which has probably saved me hundreds of battery charging cycles by now.
Considering the way Android handles apps of late, this app maybe irrelevant in case of memory management & battery conservation. However, it had done good enough deed back in the day. It's not fair to knock down stars because it's not updated anymore.
Please remove the ridiculously long timeout on the message that pops up asking to grant the usage access permission or move the individual app options on another place, because it overlaps them and I have to wait quite a while for something I can't even dismiss to get out of the way.
I have been using this app since it was released, the amount of development invested toward it's features and functionality is bar none. Rooting your device, installing the Xposed Framework and donation package adds more options. Unlike AOC's "Green New Deal" Greenify won't 'phase out' your car for mass transit or impose a Socialist "Economic Bill Of Rights" but it sure will help conserve your device's battery use and that's a real green deal.
Was a great app. But doesn't seem to work properly on newer version of android. It takes a long time to close next running process, after the previous running process is force stopped.
Please bring back Bach hibernation in notification panel.. why it can't hibernate Facebook lite automatically. It can't even trace it's wake up paths. And also there have to be an option in notification to hibernate all.
Before my phones ram was used 70-75% even I have greenify free version, but after purchasing donation pack, My phone ram using just 45% just like a magic, and also way faster then before. I just love It. Greenify? you are the best.! I have a suggestion for developer, Please add an option for automatically add new installing apps to greenify boost.
Changing stars after few years. This app almost, is no longer necessary to newer devices with updated OS. Android had been much optimized how it handles battery usage compared to the time I play with this app way back 2015 where cpu are manufactured at around 24nm and battery ranging from 1500-2500 mah
All sub pages have been implemented as popul windows .App crashes everytime you click on any settings or any other page. Waste of money
Bought it a few years ago. A bit disappointed. I like to save its apk file so I don't need to install it from p.s but it always requires installing it from p.s. It would be better if it only check its purchase, so it doesn't require installing from p.s.
Not working properly I purchased this to stop all my background app and save my phone battery, but this app not stopping background app and displays a notification pending ,there is no any changes happening in my phone battery still draining fast and apps are not stopping waste app
This app is slowing down my internet 😡. I have to restart phone after greenify hibernate apps. I uninstalled it and everything started working fine. I did not hibernate system apps, just the social media ones. I want MONEY BACK 😓.
Very nice application , i m using it since ages .but i always feel a feature missing .i am requesting that Feature , each time we install a new app i have to go to greenify and then add it to hibernate list , isn't it possible a option in app which asks user about what to do with new apps (1.Add them in hibernation list or 2.ask about them or 3.Do Nothing ). please look forward into this
Can u pls release an update for this? After updating my Huawei P30 to its latest software update. My greenify started to malfunction. When i click the hibernate button, it stuck in its 1st target app to force close, it means it cannot reach the remaining apps to force close anymore.
I am uninstalling this as it closes my games suddenly while playing and I don't get WhatsApp messages or calls. Even after adding them to ignore list, suddenly they gets closed too... So thank you!
I regret getting the donation package. Thinking I would be able to stop system bloatware/apps, but nope! Greenify doesn't do anything for them. So to sum it all up, your better off using the free version, as the pro version is useless to me.
Best app for put and keep apps and services down. Works perfectly with NoRoot Firewall app letting you take full control of all the apps and services on non rooted Android.
It's not working at all. Paid for it. But Greenify isn't detracting the donation package. What to do now ? Please fix it or refund. I'm running Play store V13. Something and installed over Android Pie. Update: NO RESPONSE. NO REFUND YET. It's been months now.
Still one of the best for deep sleeping your device without problems. And you can fine tune it s you can choose which apps sleeps and don't.
I got this just because the baseline application does a great job and I wanted to support it, I don't use the experimental features because depending on phone installing the xposed framework may cause your phone to soft lock or boot loop which can essentially brick your phone if you don't know how to fix it from that state. but I do use the features that required debugging permissions and it seems like it makes a great app even better and more useful, so be careful.
