Works as advertised on my P2XL. Future enhancement would be if worked like Latedroid Juicedefender back in the Jellybean/Lollipop days. Juicedefender could enable/disable wifi/data per user selectable app launch (better than screen on,screen off,unlock,lock) and detect inprogress downloads. Admittedly this more granular management might not be possible with current android.

I was looking for a replacement of Juice Defender cause it's not maintained anymore and not working on my HTC with Android 6 Marshmallow. First, when the dev says GreenPower is better than other apps HE REALLY MEANS IT ! The app works perfectly and is fully customizable to anyone's needs. It's clearly the best and most usefull app on my phone right now. If you hesitate buying this app, I'm telling you to forget your fear and give those well deserved dollars to this developper.

Maybe the best battery saver I 've ever tested and I have tested a lot of them. I rated with 4 stars due to a minor issue with time setting in night mode. If I set, for instance , the night mode from 23:35 to 06:30 it is saved as 06:35 to 23:35. Please fix this problem ad you LL get the 5stars from me!

Payed for this premium app. So far l can say that l noticed three problems with this app. Drained my battery down much faster. It doesn't force close apps and the night mode isn't working. Not worth paying for this version. Hopefully this will help someone who is thinking about purchasing this app. Also my phone isn't rooted.

Been using this app for about a year now. This application has been the only one that actually one dose as it says. It works a treat I love it...... BIG THANK YOU for this application

Update 12-13-17 :This app has been neglected, was great... as most battery apps are bloat and counter productive. Certain aspects of app began to require root. Developer seems not to care or sold the app to someone. Was great 2-3 years ago. Now... uninstalled :( Very Mixed Results depending on ver. of Android. Used on old and new version of same phone; Casio Commando 2.3.3 Casio Commando 4g LTE 4.2.1 On older phone increased battery life dramatically! Fantastic! On newer phone opposite effect, after uninstalling battery life went from terrible to average. Believe developer has stopped giving app attention/updates for Android. Still useful when used with used with the Doze App (no root required). I only use this app now to manage sync because Gmail give you two crappy choices, "Push" or "No notifications". Using the two together has increased my battery life. Once you go past gingerbread/Kit Kat..., this app wasn't updated... really sad because it worked so well on my old phone. C'mon guys, when was the last update?

Before the update, this app worked perfect on my HTC10 with Android 7. After you "fixed" GPS management, the GPS whitelist is useless: Greenpower disable GPS, even an white-listed app is open. I hope you won't "fix" bluetooth, data and wifi management in next update..... EDIT: now everything works as it should. The app is perfect again! Thanks!

This battery saving app is UNFREAKING BELIEVABLE! My S8+ would normally go about 12 to 14 hrs before I needed to charge the battery. I installed this app and I just about damn near got 44 hrs!!! Green Power, I take my hat off to you! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

can't control data connection in version 6.0.1 of Cat S60

It isn't working with Android 8. Can you fix it? I use this app over 3 years, I love it.please don't let me down.

Great app with nice UI and useful tools for battery saving

I used the free version for a day. It did OK but I wanted to see how the premium would perform with its added features. It works pretty well. I can go an 8 hour day of moderate use and still have 50-60% battery. I'll gladly take that with a smartphone. I have also noticed that my battery doesn't run as hot. My only "gripes or wining" would be that I can accidentally pause the app. Not sure how. I also wish all options were available in premium without being rooted. Still tweaking but good so far.

The idea is great, and it does save battery very well. However some problems make it annoying to use, and developer doesn't seem to respond. It fails to use app whitelist. So if i call on whatsapp or skype, and the screen turns off, data is turned off,and call disconnects. Second, if i turn wifi manually off, greenpower will turn it back on, even if it's settings tells it that it shouldn't do that.

Why company say mobile data ON/OFF only for rooted device. In my understanding too many app at play store that one provide mobile data n wifi automatically ON/OFF without rooted device (Newest Android 7.0 supported also). In my opinion should be solve that's issue as soon as possible. Thank you.

Download it now! Like they say its probably the best, definitely the best I've tried. I sometimes try others but in the last 3-4 years none have come close beating greenpower. Don't waste your time downloading any other

Been using this for years now. Can't live without it. A little understanding helps but it's easy to use. EDIT: 5 Stars down to 1. This just doesn't seem to be working correctly for me anymore. I am upgraded to Nougat on my Nexus 5X but it wasn't working in M either. App Whitelist malfunctions and fails to keep data/wifi active with whitelisted app in foreground. "Checking Traffic" low threshold also doesn't seem to help. This creates a hellish situation when casting to Chromecast. The app must reconnect first. Then you have to go into the Google Cast app and then it will remember that you are casting. Very inconvenient when skipping songs, etc. I need to find a new app. I have whitelisted all apps involved and still no luck. Data is turned off.

A "New Era" has emerged itself into the minds of the future generations.That is a key component in the evolution of this application.Will not hurt your phone.Only help.

The only tablets I have ever been able to get this to work right on is my Verizon tab 2 & 4. Unlocked AT&T galaxy tab 8 inch 4 and s it will stop every time. Please fix it and get a 5 star rewritten review.

So far the best app for managing WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS (rooted). This combined with greenify saved me a lot of power.
