This app enables you to order in advance. That's about the extent of it and it sometimes takes several tries to get it to work at even that basic level. There's no way to track whether you're getting the rewards you're supposed to be getting. The rewards seem not to show up right away or even soon after a purchase if at all. Several times I've gotten notifications for promos after the date it's valid. There's zero info on the app about current promos. Don't bother with this app.
Used to work the first few months, now it never wants to work. App suddenly blanks out upon opening and I can't order anything. Having to constantly re-install it is a joke. This app hasn't been updated by the developers since December 2020... absolutely ridiculous. I prefer to order ahead of time so I can avoid the lines and yet I can no longer do that because it prevents the purpose of being able to do it. Most annoying user experience I've had with an app ever.
Simple app for payment, ordering, and rewards. Been using for over a year without any issue. I think the business model is a great win-win: they save on credit card fees and pay part of that back to us with effectively a 10% discount. Plus they also run additional promos.
The app opens but continues to not function for ordering ahead or payment at the store. If I uninstall, reinstall the app will work once. But after that it goes back to non functioning. This happens for me on a Samsung device as well as for my husband who has a new iPhone.
really like Gregory coffee but the app is not great. it takes a really long time to process, which when you are freezing on a street corner just wanting coffee, that's unfortunate and will make me want to order somewhere with not as good coffee but a better app. also, my favorite/previous orders don't show up all the time for quick selection, so then i have to re enter the info (see complaint about cold above). the rewards program is pretty meh as well.
This app is so slow. Unbelievably so. I cannot order ahead of time without waiting minutes to get the menu, minutes to review order (it's still spinning as I'm typing this). I'm at a point where I'm probably not going to use the app ever again given how long everything takes.
Not fond of the lack of payment control. We cant set our limits, theres no option to "pay as you go", when we upload an amount it still gets clustered into the monthly billing. Not fond of LevelUp at all. Uninstalling.
App is slow. The customer service function has used a dark color font on a dark background so you can't see any of the options. The payment barcode is blurry so I can't even pay on the app. What's the point of the app if the payment function doesn't work?
App works for setting up an account and inputting financial/personal information. After that? Zero tactile feedback. Buttons don't function, and no amount of restarting the app helps. Update your app.
App does not allow for modification or cancelation of orders. First time user accidentally ordered 4 drinks. The "help" section of the app is a blank page and the store did not pick up its phone.
Ordered a drink that I was told unavailable in store without any app notification ahead of time. Barista told me to get a refund through customer service, which option does not load through app. Ironically the barista recommended I use a different app to order in the future (Ritual).
Do not download this app. It has a feature to automatically recharge if balance falls below at min $10 and make it impossible to turn it off. What a deceitful sales tactic.
the Tip field really needs to remember my previous setting. the Tip field is also way too hard to find being small font and a faded color that makes it blend into the background.
I cannot access rewards section. when i try to do so, it crashes. There is no way to contact support. I tried yo email but never got any response.I am having this issue for the last 8 month.
Usually works well but it sometimes is unstable and crashes forcing me to restart. I have ordered twice in a row a couple times because of that.
App is slow. And the "customer service" function doesn't work. Also ordered a (cold) drink 15 min prior to getting to the store and it was neither ready or refunded. Just an empty cup with my name on it at pickup.
It throws errors whenever I'm trying to check out... Some UI design is confusing. Should have stuck with some more conventional online ordering app design.
App automatically makes orders every time you change the tip or add an item, I was charged several times for the same thing. Support refused to help so I ended up having to get my bank involved over a few dollars.
I like the coffee and generally the app is fine but it stalls at the order ahead confirmation/review screen. Frustrating when every few weeks there's a sale using that feature.
Works most of the time. I tried to go to the customer service link just now and all it showed me was a bunch of lines (on pixel 3). Takes a long time to load and submit orders.
It's ok, but can't seem to change location (happened multiple times), which is v annoying when trying to order ahead.
Its just not working! Which is a shame because I like this place. Location option causes crashing. I cant place an order because it never stops loading.
unusable. Purposely complicated to redeem rewards. Wants you to preload cash onto your account. But whatever gets you in the door, right? This actually turned me off from the brand in general. Will stick to other coffee options.
Love Gregory's, hate the app. Crashes when I try to order, or takes so long to send an order (20min+) that I give up and just order in store. Thank goodness the QR code still works so I can still get my rewards
The FAQ / customer service section has black font on a black background so the words are invisible. Please change the font color or the background color. One other request would be expiration dates in the app for rewards.
1/31 - Customer Supprt area not working. All I see are white lines. When I click the black areas, it takes me to an FAQ but only shows the answers. Probably a CSS error.
The worsr possible. At my first try they just changed me crazy orders that I had never made. I don't delete because I filled $25 and I am awaiting they to discharge my credit card.
New app doesn't allow you to click into anything. This new app is frozen and I can't view anything else other than the front page. Please fix.
I'm having the same problem as others. I'm unable to click on anything when I open the app. Reinstalling or restarting doesn't help
Great idea on Gregory's half, by charging credit cards only once a month rather than once maybe twice a day, they are saving themselves on transaction fees. The app also offers a $5 credit with $50 spent. That is 10% cash back. Better than any credit card company offers. However, there is 1 thing missing and it is the ability to save credit. When you earn credit by spending through the app, it automatically applies the credit to your next purchase. This is not ideal. By allowing users to save credit, users can choose which transactions they want to use their credit on and it will greatly improve the usefulness of this app.
