It was extremely difficult to get picture for my deposit. it would stay on hold and not take the picture. Need a cancel button to try again.
Something about the latest Samsung One UI 4.0 update on Android 12 broke this app. It auto-closes with the message "Application violates security policy and will be shut down". Please update the app
Applications been busted for year...2 years? It's annoying that I have to still travel to the bank or ATM to manage my finances. Please hire a company to actually manage and fix your mobile app.
The app WAS great for awhile but then like 2+ weeks ago it stopped working. The uninstall and install again trick didnt help. 😞
Almost perfect. My only gripe is that when making a deposit, the screen will flip either way, horizontally, during the photo-taking (good thing), but not after the photo is taken (bummer thing). So, because my phone is usually tethered with a pretty short USB cable when I'm using it for this, I end up looking at the post-photo screen upside down. Oh, well. Maybe they can fix that. Seems like a simple coding oversight. It is a rather recent update, after all.
I like the ease of Bill pay, plus transferring moneyis great option too. Very satisfied...
Why does this bank have such log in issues no matter if its a deaktop or app one day its fine the next 7 nothing works its terrible really getting to my end with this bank
I use the app often. The only issue I ever have is sometimes it just won't load. It will take 3-5 attempts to even get it to open at times. It's not my phone because I have no problem using any of my other apps at the same time. Other than that, I think it's a great app that has been very useful to me. Makes it sooo much easier to make/receive any kind of payment I may have, transfer funds, etc. It has been very useful, and convenient, for me.
This app is terrible!! Called GFCU to inquiry why the app won't open, was told a tech will call me back, still waiting after 6 days for the call! Went to the West street office sat down with a lady, spoke about the problem and she told me to uninstall the app, shut my phone off and reinstall the app. I did right in front of her, still won't open. It must be my phone she said!! Ridiculous....
Horrible app. Constant errors with both Android and iPhone when attempting to log in. Trying to set app up on phone and the security questions wouldn't register. Went on the laptop to set up the account and after all that I can't even pay the auto loan from a non-Greylock bank account. Way behind the times. Definitely will avoid in the future and will be looking today to switch loan to another provider. Inconvenient to do business with.
I really like the app & find it easy to do most of the banking I need to do. I've only had a problem since the last update with the app not opening properly, but my past experience with GFCU assures me that whatever the problem is will be fixed soon. I'd have rated higher if there was something between 4&5.
ANYONE GOING TO USE THIS APP MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THIS APP DOES NOT KEEP PROPER TRACK OF YOUR BALANCE AND CAN POSSIBLY COST YOU . For example, yesterday my account said $18.00 actual balance and available balance $3.00 which made sense because I had 2 pending transactions, 1 for $10 and 1 for $5. So after they cleared through I should have still had $3. But the next morning I had $-5.00 in my account. The balances in this app are very faulty and costing me money all the time and may cost you too!
Update 1/9/21: This app has been having issues connecting on data and even on home wifi. Not very handy for a mobile banking app. This is a great banking app. Very handy to transfer between accounts or even other credit unions and banks!
The app crashes as soon as I attempt to login. When I attempt to sign in via biometrics, it crashes. When I enter my password manually, it crashes. I'm running an AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G (SM-986U) Android Version 11, OneUI v3.1. The app is fully up to date, and my phone is also fully up to date.
The newest GFCU banking app had been such a huge benefit to my business, saving me from do many trips to the bank as well as time and gas! i got they don't change it, since the last version that they tried never worked, this one has been flawless for me!
"Greylock FCU keeps stopping". That's all that happens when I open the app. Running Android Pie. I've sent error logs of this in the past, and just now, again. Hope it gets resolved.
Stopped working suddenly. I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it but it wouldn't install. My husband can't install it on his phone either. Now I have a bunch of checks signed specifically for mobile deposit and I can't deposit them
The app no longer works on my phone...something about debugging is now necessary. It used to work fine, not any longer. Fortunately it does work on my husband's phone for I use his device for my account. It's a pain.
The app is very easy to navigate.
I loved this app before the last update. But now it won't even load. I've been told my phone is too old now. Seriously, GFCU? I have to buy a new phone because you didn't consider older phones in your code? At least I can manage to drive to the CU to deposit checks. What about folks who can't or can't afford a new phone? Badly done, Greylock.
It freezes up on my phone. It worked once but never again; as soon as the app opens to the log in screen it becomes unresponsive.
Recently updated and the app crashes immediately when trying to open, this must be a bug because it had worked fine for years before this new update. Hopefully its fixed in a newer update.
This app is the most unreliable app I have ever tried to work with. It won't load, it crashes, I've had to uninstall and re install more times than I should ever have to with my banking app.
Pretty decent app except lately it logs me out every few minutes and no longer accepts my fingerprint log in, no matter what I do. This is a nuisance. I do like the instant balance view, however. ✨🖖
Usually it work just fine. On occasion though it won't let me type in my password and I don't use the thumbprint feature so I have to exit the app and restart my phone, other than that works as it should.
I just downloaded the app as what my bank told me to do. After it said it was Installed, I clicked on the Open tab but after 3 tries, the app still won't open. This is bogus!
Completely nonfunctional. App opens to a load screen and never changes.
Easy. Every step and function from loading the app forward. Except that I have to reinstall regularly. Just stops working.
App hasn't worked for over 2 weeks now and before that it always had issues loading and opening. Plus it crashed A LOT.
Unable to cash certain checks, when you take the picture of the back after writing the "mobile deposit only" if the signature line isn't at the edge and is more towards the middle it will spit back that the app is unable to find the mobile deposit only text. I just tried it several times and it refuses to go through. Then if you take the picture so the text is more at the edge of the rectangle outline it will say you need all 4 corners included in the picture. Annoying! Please fix!
