Griblers: offline RPG / strategy game

Had a tonne of fun playing this game! Have completed it in all levels (easy, normal and difficult). Have encountered a glitch where a task was partially complete and the next part of the storyline unfolded and a new task began without having the right equipment. But I think that may have been fixed but I've been playing it offline the whole time. Would recommend to those who love strategy board games and if you don't mind a so-so storyline :) Do let us know if you're making a second one!

Having a lot of fun with this game on the casual difficulty. I wish I could zoom out more to see the whole map. I'd like to know what determines which sectors will be revealed by rusty when it's more than 1. And I think there's a bug with the crossbow; It consumes 2 actions even when shooting an adjacent sector, but it still let's you shoot if you only have 1 action left. From its description, I'm assuming that it's meant to only consume 2 actions when you shoot long range.

Great game, nice graphics. It's a little bit confusing about how to play. But not for long you will be able to understand it. More like inventory management. And this is maybe helpfull guide for player who never experience this kind RPG: to transfer the item to the base, you need to bring the character home first. Edit : I've got my premium status again. Indeed the click event on Buy Premium button seems not doing anything, but after a few time of waiting, the pop up will show up.

Very fun little strategy game. Kind of retro and easy moving. Good for relaxing with, but not TOO easy. Still requires a little strategy and attention. Not the same old same old. Edit: i have beaten the game on normal and am trying difficult level. It is very challenging now. Advanced players need not worry that the game is too easy now. In fact I'm not sure i can beat it on the harder setting, it's tough! (but still fun).

Very entertaining and addictive. Completed the complete (yes, you need to pay for it) Easy mode game in 3 days. Wished the storyline was longer. Although there isn't much of a guide on how to do things, it is simple enough to learn how to navigate the game. One suggestion: the items should tell you whether it is a one-time use or multiple-use.

Enjoyed the game so much, I purchased Premium, which incidentally, is completely optional. When they say this game is free, it's no lie. No ads, no challenges only passable with microtransactions. You can buy some optional equipment, and everything is priced very fairly. I felt that the game progression was balanced and encouraged thinking ahead. This game was clearly made with love. We need more game developers like this team. Good job, guys!

5⭐ game but... The game concept - awesome! The gameplay/controls - easy peazy! The app size - minimal which is always a plus for me. Not to mention the fact that its TOTALLY FREE with NO ADS! My only qualm is that the game isnt running now and I'm not sure why. EDIT: Tried the update, still having the same issue. Im up to where you have to lead the other Grinblers back home/Winterella, can never get past dialogue before it crashes

This is a fantastic game! Great depth in both story and gameplay. The strategy is simple with enough elements to make it challenging. Incorporating a time, terrain, resource, stamina, and skill system that makes it easy to understand without being boring. I was addicted right away, couldn't stop playing, and didn't have to pay anything to complete. You should play this game too. Go Griblers!

Well the game is fun and simple for me and is a great way to pass the time but I encountered a problem. That problem is my progress just being erased. I have no idea but I'll look into some ways how it could've been deleted. edit: still didn't work Edit 2: I just exit and opened the app again whenever it says new game and it fixed it but it's still there.

No ads. Absolutely free. Others have accurately described the game. I just wanted to add my voice to confirm that this is completely ad free. The developers give you the option about five or six times (after completing key missions) to donate $2 if you are enjoying the game. (I think they called it upgrading to premium, but it was really just giving you the chance to donate. The complete game is free.) I finished it without having to spend a penny (after which I paid the $2 because was worth it)

Brilliant. A fun strategy game with enough to keep you coming back and good visuals. And it's free, I will genuinely consider paying to the developers, not because I have to, or to remove irritating ads, but because they made an excellent game and shared it without ruining the experience behind unnecessary pay to win accessories or littering it with ads. Thank you for making a continuation of gribblers. The first time I install Gribblers, the story only ended with getting the first crystal. Good thing I install this again cause I can play the continuation and finish it in 2 days. This game is super fun and very challenging. Even if it's only in the easy mode, I have a tough time as I advance through the story but it was really challenging.

Great little strategy game, but can be a little frustrating. There is enough to keep you occupied for a few hours for sure. Can be completed without spending any real money. Dev seems to be active and has actually provided info on how to progress to those that get stuck. Some enemy spawn rates are high and when only 1 or 2 characters can fight, it becomes a pain sometimes as you wait for that one character to be able to move. That said, with a little patience, I was able to finish the game.

Really really fun game. No p2w at all. Cool concept and really responsive developers. Few things I would suggest would be: Automation to make tasks easier. Like being able to set a destination and Gribler makes it automatically. Replaying the mini text rpg. I clicked skip by mistake and couldn't solve it. Maybe a mine in the tree city just like we have a farm.

if you like counting every third turn and constantly managing inventory then boy oh boy is this the game for you. I'm pretty surprised at the rating for this game. It's super simplistic, it makes you change characters every few steps, and you are in Perpetual Inventory management mode a good deal of the time because they throw a million items at you and give you a limited set of expandable but still Limited inventory slots. Exactly the opposite kind of game I like. Uninstalled.

If you enjoy tactical turn based RPG'S you will love Griblers. Adorable little characters on a crazy adventure to say Hardwood. Each with the very unique role to play. Continuously changing to keep the game exciting. Even a fun text based adventure at one point. Other than paying $3 for the premium to support the developers, I did not need to purchase any in app gear purchases. Though it did get pretty tough towards the end.

Sweet game. I don't have children, but the way how the story is told is definitely entertaining for, I guess 4 - 8th year. You don't have to pay for it, but can donate a small amount of money to the creators or buy cheap tools which make your Game easier. I would reccomend to support them right from the beginning, especially because there is no advertisement in the whole game and you add a small + to the games fun. Only the turns are sometimes annoying, but I guess that is just the game genre.

Overall, this was a fun game that held my interest. Near the end, some things for tedious because getting specific items helps but there were limited ways to get the items. The goals were clear and I liked the balance of the Griblers' strengths and weaknesses. Great job to the developers for a fun project. I'll keep an eye out for more.

Great little game, start seems slow but speeds up fast, has good progression. No ads and a very unobtrusive "Hey remember developers did lots of work" screen that only comes up once a chapter which is super fair. Has items that can be bought BUT each one can be aquired later in the game as well. Really a great design

The game was initially interesting and entertaining. It's different, but still somewhat familiar. It loses stars from me because it quickly becomes too repetitive. For instance, defeat Winterella, a quest later, no really defeat Winterella again, then a quest or two later - you guessed it - Winterella, again. Yep, bored. Can't do this again, I'm out.

Paid for full(was definitly worth). Had a small hiccup with an impassable section of the game(terrain bug) - left a bad review - Developer got in touch immediately and fixed the problem. Updating to reflect that it is definitly worth the money. Developer was friendly and quick to address the issue! Such a fun relaxing turn based game! Lots of character and nice art! Good job and thnx for caring Grumpy Games!

Quite fun at the start with a light-hearted story that's easy to follow, but main issue is that near the end it becomes very hard and progress is slow. That's when I dropped it. RPG mechanics were very linear but nice, especially making items for characters.

It's totally an astonishing game and I really enjoy playing it. But I'm stuck at the task that says "you need to save at least 6 griblers", I did save them but there's still a scorpion that I can't kill because it's surrounded by lava. I don't know if this is kinda a glitch or something, I hope you can help me out.

Downloaded the game, enjoyed it, bought it(!), got stuck because of a bug (scopion cant be attacked), contacted support, was told the problem will fixed soon, almost 4 weeks later the bug still exists, stlp n progress possible. This is how my 5 star rating turned into a 1 star rating. I wouldn't have taken tha many stars if I wouldn't have payed for the game.
