Used to work but now app won't pair with hardware even though hardware will pair with Android at the Android level. Appears app is not being kept up to date with latest Android. So lack of software support makes this device obsolete even though hardware seems to work fine. This is our world, now: obsolesense through neglect. Would not buy again.
Does not pair. I've had this app/therm for a few years and it used to work just fine, albeit would lose connection periodically. But now it just doesn't connect. Makes the whole thing pointless
Device will not pair. Yes I have used Bluetooth before. Its a great thermometer and if I didn't get it as a gift I'd stab someone with it! J/K but 0lease correct the issue with connectivity! Thanks
It deserves ZERO stars, but 1 star is as low as you can enter. The app is out of date and won't work with newer phones, but it will work fine with a Gallaxy 5. Brookstone seems to show no interest in updating it. Is it any wonder they had to file Chapter 11?
Does not work with new OS android 10. The phone will connect to the thermometer, but the app won't connect to the unit. Needs to be fixed.
Will not pair, a message is appearing to say that the app was created for older versions of Android, and may not connect to newer versions?? Could someone please update the app! We're not living in 2010
Used to work just fine, now the Bluetooth will not connect. App is useless, probe and digital readout still work.
This used to work great until it required and update. After re-installing the app, it will not link to device anymore. Frustrated. Please fix.
Not supported by any phone newer than 2015. But hey, now you have a really $$$expensive$$$ thermometer with all the capabilities of a $3 Walmart probe.
Used to work well but will not pair on bluetooth. Time to upgrade your software so we can still use this useful app
Horrendous. Doesn't work with Android 10 systems.....virtually all Samung 9 and above phones.

This app used to work. There were some annoying little bugs, but it worked. It does not work with Android 10 apparently. My phone can connect to the hardware via Bluetooth, but the app won't connect. I expect better from Brookstone. Now I'll need to find a new thermometer system :-\ Update: I tried emailing the developer and the email was blocked, so apparently they have no intention to fix any issues.
