Works as it should. It pairs using the app. If you read the instructions that come with the thermometer, you will have no problems. The thermometer instructions tell you how to use the app. As with all blue tooth devices, they have a limit on how far you can go from the device. It worked good enough that I bought a second one for my camp.
Does not work at all. Is inconsistent with connecting to devices. Crashes half the time you open it. Pretty useless considering how the thermometer I purchased this with completely relies on the app to do anything.
It has one job, pair. It does not pair. The UI is unresponsive when trying to tap pair new device.
Wasted money on the thermometer and of course no support. App doesn't work on latest versions of Android, item has been pulled from Amazon.
DO NOT PAIR WITH PHONE FIRST, only with the app, wasnt working before that, but now it seems fine. app itself if petty unintuitive and crummy but works ok
Doesn't pair with the device, asks for way too many permissions for a simple BBQ temperature app.

This app has Android 10 support, support different meat types and had never malfunctioned so far.

My thermometer, bought at presidents choice, paired easily with my old phone running marshmallow and the app seems to do its job just fine. Can't say it's a ground breaking app with a ton of new features but without being flashy it does what I expect it to do.
IDK if I'm doing something wrong but the app is not saving my manual settings. Everytime I open it up I have to set it again....smh
The app works (well enough to use) but she be a fickle beast. The trick seems to be- have your Bluetooth on but DON'T pair with the device before you pair with it in the app. The alarm temp doesn't seem to go beyond 145°f for some reason, which is incredibly frustrating.
