Grim Fandango Remastered

What a great game. A few minor things made me mark it down a star. I have galaxy s7. Going back to a saved game, the sound is fuzzy but as someone said clearing the cache (not data) fixes it and only takes a second. The visuals were jerky but changing the special features to original instead of remastered fixed it. The character movement and focussing on objects takes a bit of getting used to but if u move your finger aroung the screen it shows the interactive objects and exits. So all good!

One of the greatest games ever made. It is testament to an era when games were made more for creativity, exploration, even art and less about making money and re-using the same formulas. Perhaps no other game has been this inventive, funny and masterfully made. Imaginative, complex and never boring, with unforgettable characters, remarkable narratives and an utterly amazing world to enjoy.

The audio in this game is terribly broken to the point of it being unplayable. I contacted the developer and instead of giving me a refund, they gave me a Steam code so I could play it on PC. They admitted that they are aware of the problem. It's been more than a year and I've been hoping that they'd release an update to fix the audio, but so far, nothing.

The cutscenes don't work, it skips straight past them and I can't open them through the 'Special Features' menu. Apart from that so far the gameplay has been great, but without cutscenes the experience lacks.

Good game but no longer supported/updated by devs. Game keeps crashing after running it first time. Sound also stutters or lags. The only fix for crashing and sound issue is to clear the game's cache everytime, before you run the game.

Great game I have played in the past. bought it. started playing and it worked great. now it just crashes everytime I start it up. I have a Moto Z3. Not sure what the issue is, but its very disappointing.

Great classic game with an amazing story, absolutely fantastic when It worked , would be 5/5 however I have had constant problems over 2 seperate devices in which the game fails to load altogether after a while, making the purchase of this game completely pointless :(

Playing in a brand new Galaxy Tab 8" (2019 version) and sound is stuttering in both remastered and classic render modes and no cut scenes will play... Guess it's back to ScummVM for me... Worthless.

I enjoyed the game. I didn't enjoy having to look up walkthrough videos to see what the cutscenes were. The game automatically skipped them. Needs some fixing.

There was no way to prevent the game from skipping the cutscenes making it very confusing, I had to play watching the cutscenes from YouTube so I knew what was going on. Don't buy it.

When i saw grim fandango on android i immedietly bought it wanting to relive the experience on my phone/tablet. Although i do enjoy the game on my phone, i was more than disapointed to find out it wont work on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, on which i intented to play it on, and i really cant understand why it wont work on such a good tablet .....

Great game. Had some pretty tough puzzles. Switching between items is a little laborious and the distance you need to walk on some screens gets a bit annoying sometimes.

Please fix the cutscenes. They skip in game and can't be played from Special Features. Pixel 3. Spoils the otherwise brilliant game in a big way.

awful conversion. missing scenes, jumps through the story and controls are poor. i love double fine adventures, but this lets them down hard

love this game from my childhood, however ive spent money on this android version and none of the cutscense work at all ive got a pixel 3xl.game play works although if you close the game and restart it lags alot,i have to reset the game completely in order for it to work again.big let down would like the game fixing or my money back.

Yep, cutscenes don't work on Pixel 3. This is a great game so I hope this issue gets fixed eventually, but until then it's not worth it.

Not having the cut scenes working makes this port useless for a story driven game. The lack of commitment from double fine is truly disappointing.

Game worked once after pucrchase and never since and support for the game is nill. With the bugs in the game should be free. noticed recently that this program now asks for permission to view your wifi network and wifi connected devices? Why?

Only starts once on my Sony xperia xz2 premium. Also, the sound is very shaky / laggy, I can't understand a word or bear the music.. 😔 Such a shame, this game is one of my all time favourites

The game is enjoyable enough, but the app only opens the first time after its installed. After that any time I try to get it to run it crashes

Game won't load at all after playing once. Same happens when I reinstall, works once then won't load when I try start it again. S8

cutscenes not working. galaxy s9 running Android 9. guess I can watch on YouTube but seems a shame a paid app isn't fully functional.

it took all night to install 5% and somehow got stopped so I had to start over again. I will re-rate and review this after I actually get to play the game.

bought it and it does not work correctly on any of my devices. put some work into getting this to work on modern devices....

after the first puzzle it skipped me mid story. tried to reinstall to fix it but it effectively made it unplayable

Back and better than ever! No glitches or gameplay problems. Highly recommend. Played on Moto G6.
