Grim wanderings

A great fun game. The setting and tone really places you in the the game's grim world. Controls are fine, art and graphics are great overall (although I do prefer that some of it will be replaced with better ones; that'll make it perfect), has a few annoying bugs but nothing game-breaking. The game needs more content and some polishing. Then again the Part Two is already here so I doubt if anyone would still play this or if the devs would put more time here.

Overall, the game certainly captures some of the "feel" of old disciples... Sadly though, it fails to innovate on the original concept. The artwork is nice, but, it gets swallowed in such a tiny display... So, it all ends as a tiny mess that can't really be visually understood well...old games used big portraits for a reason - otherwise you won't understand much of it. Some of the sounds feel out of place, and there really is no difference between the armys in arch/impact. It was nice overall.

Would be five but the UI is sort of small and it occasionally makes it difficult to click the correct button. Also i feel that undead units should not need food, but I understand that making that a thing would take one of the key elements that makes this a survival game away by making undead units heal for free. Other than that i love the game. Its simple yet has a way of drawing you in and makes you want to play more. Love it. Can't wait for part two!

Really fun little game, translation is a tad off so learning the game can be a tad confusing, but it's surprisingly deep for a phone game. Not for anybody who likes an easy, hand-holding experience, but if you think you'd enjoy a challenging blend of turn-based RPG and choose your own adventure, you cant go wrong with Grim Wanderings. Would love to see more from these guys in the future, especially a Switch release

Absolutely amazing game! The sheer amount of secrets, options, events and encounters, characters and creatures, and ultimately unique variations of things that can happen is truly unprecidented given even a passing glance. Though the game can be extremely challenging at times, immersing into the experience and the strange world is well worth it. I enjoy the warped aesthetic of the art style a great deal. Only complaint is you can't New Game+ with your established characters after an endgame.

If you like the Disciples series and/or the Monsters Den series, then you will like this game. This game took the best features of both of these series and put them together into one game with a few of their own added twists and features. 5 races, 3 campaigns per race, and 2 difficulty levels. I'm playing on easy and it's quite challenging.

The battle system works smoothly enough but the lag between commands outside of battle is very bad and sometimes the game does not even respond, there is also the problem of extensive spelling errors. However the the variety of characters makes for a new experience every time you play providing different challenges but the character and enemy portraits are freaking creepy though.

The worst problems about this game is that there isn't enough storyline for each race and that you're class/race locked for your main character. There are over 10 unique, playable races with many of them having a unique class system so not being able to play those and instead, be locked as one race, one class is depressing. Otherwise, this game does everything right where GrimW2 fails. Majority of choices aren't RNG, defend action is a thing, cool classes, better rep system, and no bs budgeting.

I love the concept but I literally hate the graphics. I'd rather play with a simple symbols instead of all of these portraits, they are actually making me shutting of the game sometimes since I just can't look at them. Also leveling units should go slower (like in disciples 2). But in general - great job, I'm giving 4 stars because of these ugly graphics xD

this is too hard. i've met enemy with 100ish hp while i'm still in the very beginning of the game. i can't play it without coming back to town to save every turn. i always comes back because the gameplay is simple and interesting, but it could be better.

The game is so cruel to the player. I wont say anymore than that. People should experience it themselves to feel it. Even the most cautious person will somehow abruptly have their luck taken as if it never existed. Its like this everytime, everything is fine, then all of a sudden you move a single step, A. DRAGON APPEARS. The enemy would be so strong that you would barely take 2% of their HP pool and instantly die. It happens EVERYTIME. And the icons are confusing.The game is barely user friendly

It's a little dark, but it carries a fun experience I would suggest to any RPG player. The tutorial, or rather, the manual on how to play is very descriptive, but not as helpful to those that aren't really interested in reading pages of paragraphs. Other than that, a great play.

Every time I click using my stylus it's WAY off to the right of where I pressed. I've had to adapt. Also I personally dont understand why you chose to give the dwarves a burglar instead of a warrior when dwarves are renowned warriors. Either way, I do enjoy playing the game and hope to see an update or something.

Good fun, but I don't know how to move on to next map to keep gaining xp and levels. Also I explored and conquered all tiles in the original rectangle and after portal but still did not finish my quests. Maybe I need to revisit something. Unclear.

Maaan the overall game balancing is broken, like the moment you stepped out from the beginner city on lvl 1 the enemies can kill you that easy, graphics are horrible I can't even tell what I'm fighting with and the random encounter is pretty crappy, even if you're on higher level and have a better troops enemies can kill you pretty easy like what the hell am I spending gold for if I keep missing my hits while fighting tougher enemies who don't have any of those problems =,=)

I really wanted to try this game; but all the visuals seem to stay on the screen. After three pages I found myself unable to read any of the text, and once the game actually started I still saw some of the tittle screen in the background. Please release a patch or something?

The fact it deletes your save file is quite annoying since things like starvation and just running into a crazy stront enemy can happen randomly 3 hours in. checkpoints after finishing a quest would be nice. Edit: There is actually a way to save :)

The game is fine. Actually I love the game but holy %#&* there is WAY too many ads and about 1/3 of the time the ad freezes the game. Great game. But I am seriously considering uninstalling because the ads are beyond frustrating.

Great game. Tons of different unit types. Must've taken a long time. Loads of different encounters too. Obviously graphics weren't amazing, but that's better cause it doesn't drain your battery as much.

Great game! I love the idea, how it's f2p friendly and the execution. Just a little more work should be done on design, text and sensitivity. Also, enemies get a little op after a while.

So far I'm addicted to the game, but I was having a bit of difficulty, even with the game on easy I was having trouble succeeding but I changed my approach and it helped. I will say that I do wish we could watch videos and receive gold for watching those videos.

A good game to scratch that disciples itch. Would give 5 star but its a bit short, the survival feature where the map constantly changes i think is not cool n i liked to grind out the whole map thinking i am gonna smash the next map but u cant grind to an op lvl. Cant make my super dominate team.

Maybe it's good. I don't know. Instead of tutorial while we play, we get a huge novel to read that's confusing and too much to take in as a new player. Fonts are WAY too small so this is best for big tablet or pc, not mobile. Unsure why this is on here due to wee font size. Impossible to play.

Very fun game BUT the game is almost unplayable, the screens start overlapping even after you swap to something else so I'll have the pause menu, troops and map all open so I can't see what buttons to click or what's what.

Amazing game. I played it to the point where i could literally do nothing and just repeat doing everything. Really hard at start though... although once you grasp the strategies this'll be a piece of cake.

No no and no. The first thing you do is read a essay in size 4 font. Then you try to play but the controls are clunky, the font is miniscule, and the graphics are horrible... Just no.
