It's alright. You can make multiple lists and it sorts them by aisle. But if it doesn't have your item in the database you have to manually add it EVERY time and it doesn't save what aisle it's in. Also, sometimes when you try to add stuff to your list, it says "this item is already in your favorites list" even when it's not. So, I'm unable to add some items to my grocery list because it overrides what I add based on me maybe buying it at one point months ago. Frustrating.
i have had this app for at least 4 years. it was great at first however, now... within the last year i have not been able to delete the grocery cart nor can i add items back to the cart the following week if i need it again. says it's already on the list. i kept thinking it's just a bug. they will fix it. i am a patient person but, the issue has yet to be resolved. i'll have to find another app :(
Great if it works We've used this for years on iPhone and Android, but it does not appear compatible with Android 9, so I'm out of luck with my new phone. Google Play says it might not be compatible when you install. It installs but you cannot sync your list to the cloud and cannot share. I see my wife's email in the sharing page, I get the error: "A server error was detected with list sharing" Sad because this still works on the latest iPhone but not Android.
List syncing quit working. i had to clear my database because of errors. Now I can't get my devices to sync. The barcode scanner is a nice feature. It doesn't recognize some items and puts all items in other, but it's easy to put things where they belong.
This app is SO frustrating. It used to be great. Now it's not. Everything I add goes on the "all items" list and not my grocery list. I can't add milk to my grocery list at all. I keep trying over and over and it won't add but I can put it on my "all items" list just fine. I even favorited it and then tried to add it from the favorites list, and it seemed to add it, but then it was gone. Now I'm wondering what else I've been adding that is disappearing and then later thinking I must have forgotten to add it in the first place. I'm going back to Out of Milk for my grocery list.
Once I found the recorder aisles took, I was off to the races. The Help file seems aimed toward an older version or iPhone, but I kept at it to find the tools I needed. Love the flexibility and customizable features; I don't really use the coupon features.
issues with multiple users and Android updates. i looked this app ok, until i added it to my wife's phone and found issues with syncing our inputs. also, i just ran an Android automatic update, and all my history, favorites, etc have been erased. i think this app is not at the standard of user friendliness i would expect for 2019.
Love this app! We use it for grocery lists, lists of movies that we want to watch, Christmas lists, everthing. The only problem is that it recently stopped working for ios, so my wife's iPhone no longer syncs to it. Fix that and I'll switch it to 5 stars.
this app is kind of a mess. For a while I liked it on my Android phone but now there's not a release for the new operating system. You can also access it on a Windows desktop computer, however the list doesn't seem to be the same. I know that there's a sync function but it doesn't seem to have synced.
We have been using Grocery IQ on our last 3 phones. it's easy to use and saves so much time! I've added the stores we use and even added a Honey do list! I would love to be able to delete stores we no long use or want. Other than that I love this app and recommend it highly for everyone that makes lists! 😀🙂
Why can't I delete some of the stores and rearrange the list of stores. My primary grocery store's list quit allowing me to add some of my frequently used items. Those same items are addable in other stores list. I added my primary store with a slight name change and it works fine. Now I can't edit the store names or order, nor can I delete the store that does not work correctly. Very frustrating.
This was a great app. had it for 6+ years with 220 items plus on it and then in the last 2 months, it all started to go wrong and now I find out its been taken over by " Coupons ". Thanks for screwing up 6 years of putting together a great system for shopping. You think you are goign to get a large group of followers after taking this app and making it yours and saying..." who cares " to people. I can't believe how ignorant and......I'm wasting my time.
Desperately needs an update and bug fixes. Keep telling me I have items on my favorites so I can't add the item to my list. Checked and I don't have the condition they indicate. Sync is also very buggy now.
My wife and I use this. Sometimes the items show on both phones (after syncing) sometimes not. The isles are not complete there to assign an item to. It used to be a lot better.
I only use this app because my wife uses it. I'm logged on with her account, but synch is only about 75% successful. I deleted all Favorites but I still can't add some items because the stupid cloud thinks they're Favorites. The only way to make sure everything is on the list is to have a meeting and review our lists. Is the app supporting me, or am I supporting the app?
A few issues for me: 1) When I want to add an item to my current shopping list, it goes to the "all items" or "Store" list instead, so I have to search the entire list for the new item, then add it to my shopping list. 2) Would be great if the current shopping list was at the top of the screen instead of the bottom. Every time I check an item off my shopping list, I have to scroll back down through the entire list of items that aren't on my current shopping list, to get to it. 3) Search option?
i like this app very much. i like that i can customize the foods per isle by store. syncing does between devices does have some issues that need to be addressed but overall i still rate it 5 stars.
Its helpful but not at the same time. Especially when I try to add items back to my list from the history and they keep going to the wrong list. It's super frustrating
I love this app but I'm giving it one star because it's really annoying when I select what I want and it doesn't add it to the list or it says it's in my favorites when it's not. It's especially annoying when I don't notice it wasn't added because I already have a long list. I don't have any favorite groceries and I think the favorites option is kind of a waste. Fix the app so that when I select the item, it adds it without it having to be on my favorites.
App works great for me. 2 suggestions, a dark theme would be awesome and not having app reset to top off page when I miss the checkbox and select item info. Small but bothersome issue.
I really like the way this app organizes my grocery list by aisle and makes usage in the market easier. I just wish it had hooks to allow me to add items with Google Assistant.
The grocery lists do not update correctly when sharing a list. Old items reappear and new items get deleted. Something is wrong with the sync.
I've uses this app for years and I've really like it. it has its quirks, but its been good. Then I went to the website and.logged in and found that the website IS NOT A SECURE website. Everyones' user id and password is clear text. Not encrypted. I will be finding another app.
I would love to have a search option. every time I need to add something to my shopping list that's already in the overall list I have to scroll through every single item due to categorization
I've enjoyed this app but got a warning recently that it was built for older android version. I hope it will continue to be upgraded and supported. My only complaint is the difficulty I have syncing my lists between my iPad and Samsung phone. Since each one is using the same account the sync process won't work. I just have to wait for the merge to occur. In a store with slow connections that can be frustrating. I pretty much love everything else about it.
