Grocery Shopping Calculator

I actually like this app, its really helpful for me. I do wish that i could change the budget amount for separate lists. Kind of a hassle. I also wish there was a way to just scan a product and have it check off that price and item on list. I think it could maybe be faster than manually typing in everything one by one. That would also help if something is on sale and you don't know or was marked the wrong price. Other than that its wonderful!

Overall, the app works great for one store shopping trips. I personally find it a bit more difficult to use for multiple stores/ trips because I don't like to remove items from a shopping list due to having to re-enter prices each time. It would be nice to have prices stored in the app. Or at least have a drop down of previous prices that were entered. If it can save previous items it seems it could have the potential to do that.

It is a pretty basic app, but gets the job done. You have to know what items have tax and be sure to note it with that feature or the price will be off. I do wish it would alphabetize the list once new things are added because it can make finding them to check off tough if the list is long. I also wish there was a way to clear just the checked items when you are done and not the whole list. I tend to buy the same things each time & that would make it more convenient. Overall, though, its good.

I love it. I'm a budget person and like to keep on it consistently. This does that and to not hunger shop over the top with a flexible list that I can keep till the next time to compare what it cost before. I just wish I could make mpre than 1 list at a time. It would help a lot when I go to different stores. A barcode scanner would help too.

I really keep coming back to this app because of the ability to actually add the taxes to the overall price. Other shopping list apps say that they can do the same thing but this lets you customize and I really like that. It would be a perfect five star rating if I could make multiple lists at a time. I often shop for groceries and household items separately so this could be useful for me if it happens!

Great app. Does exactly what I needed it to do. I make a list set budget and add the amount to the quantity on my list it automatically calculates. I love that. And if I should get a Lil handsy with the food and grab a few other things I can adjust to make up for that too. Thankfully. Only one issue I'd love to be able to store multiple lists. But otherwise great app.

So far so good. I spent two days uploading all the items I have shopped for within in a month period to create a master list. Two weeks in and I have stayed/below budget. Only issue I have is I have two lists with seperate budget numbers, app will only remember one and I have to remember to update the second list after I have completed my shopping. I can work around, but would love the seperate lists to hold their own budget numbers. I will keep using and staying on budget.

Pros: -Easy to use -Once item is entered, it stays in the memory -Tax or no tax option on individual items -Calculates multiple quantities + tax info Cons: -No Categories -Ads are just below the budget info & distracting. You can accidentally install an unwanted app. -If you delete item off list, you lose the price entered but not the item info. Wish: Put ads above the budget section & remain there w/o flashing or a paid version. It's one of the best Budget calculators. Recommended.

The separate lists do not allow me to create a budget amount per list. It changes all the lists to the same amount. Grocery list needs to be larger than household supply list and it doesn't add up all the lists to a single budget. I do like how it adds the tax to properly budget. Needs two check boxes- one to deduct from weekly budget and one to check that its been purchased. And have a time frame the budget resets- weekly/monthly. Maybe I need a tutorial?

I love the ease with which you can add and edit grocery items. Then you could slide the item up-and-down on your list so they are in categories. The fact that when you add the price it subtracts it from your budget is very helpful. Great app!

I really like this app. It is simple to use for the intended purpose but i use it slightly different. I use it to budget all my bills and savings instead of just separate entries of food and grocery items then i can check or uncheck items to see at a glance how it impacts my budget which is a great aid in making better financial decisions.

I really like it. Better than most. Just wish when I make a new list I could add it's own budget than having to use the same budget for every list I create. Would like to be able to create each lists it's own budget. That would add that 5th star for me.

This is a very good app. There is only one feature that it is missing: the ability to create and store multiple lists. For example, I often buy office supplies for the company I work for and I will often do shopping for myself as well. Obviously, they would be two separate transactions and it would be nice to be able to store two separate lists at the same time. If this feature were added, I would raise the rating to five stars because it would be the perfect shopping list app.

So far this is an awesome app. Glad I found it. Super easy to use. I like that you can have different list but it would be helpful if you were able to adjust a budget for each list if you have more than one .

I like this app only because I am on a small time budget and it adds the sale tax to it so I know where I stand at the end.. it saved me a little at the end because not everything has taz but you can say it does or you can go in and change it all the time. I like seeing the lower amount at the end. I do wish it would save my times as I shop. so I know what I did save each time. I screen shot them and that was a pain.

Best app I've used for groceries. Basic & simple. I really love the tax added as I shop. When it's time to pay, this app is always accurate. Comes in really handy when you're on a tight budget.

LOVE IT!!!! Exactly what I was looking for! Enter a budget and then enter items and prices before going to the store or while you're shopping. Simple, easy to use, and it might just keep me from buying that non-budgeted carton of ice cream....

Wonderful app! I can set the budget amount and the app keeps me within my budget. It does everything I want EXCEPT to be able to create more than one list. It would be awesome to be able to create a list for multiple stores with each store having its unique list. Pretty please?????

This app is definitely helpful for staying in budget while shopping. I would give it 5 stars if it had a way to start a second shopping list as I use snap for my food shopping. That way I could have separate budgets for snap items and cash items. Overall good, helpful, easy to use app.

I used this app for grocery shopping today. it was great because I could keep a running total of how much I was spending. the only reason I didn't rate it higher than I did was this. I cannot reorganize the list at all. Also need to make list where you can mark off an item as you go. Otherwise this is a great app.

Like the app, would like to see a coupon option, adding the isle for the store, and a separate budget for each list. Been using the app for several months, helps me stick to the list of needed items and budget.

I love this! I love that you can add the tax on the items so you know exactly what you will spend. My only complaint with this app is you can only have one list at a time. I use this to help track my spending but I'm only allowed to have one list at a time which for me doesn't work. other then that it is super easy and is very accurate.

I use this once a month when I head into town to do grocery shopping. I maintain permanently a list on it of items I buy, with prices, sales tax and grocery store. Before I head out, I have rearranged the list. I know what I am buying, where and what I need to do to stay within a strict budget. My only wish is that this was designed with a two column css grid and some JS that enabled me to move items from my permanent list to today's shopping list. I waste time doing this now.

Download app standing right in Walmart today and it helped me stick to my new $150 weekly grocery budget; I was disciplined! Super excited about this app helping me save money - was totally worth it today. Love the tax and unit features too! Also it wad so easy to use didn't require any learning time. This app does everything i need it to do. I absolutely love it. No more surprises at the checkout! Extremely user friendly and works perfectly without issues. I highly recommend if you grocery shop on a budget.

I would give this app 5 stars if I could make more than one shopping list at a time. It's helpful when you're on a tight budget. I go to different grocery stores depending on sales and other stores in general. I also wish the app had a scanner.

It's good. 1 downside is when you create a new list you can't change the budget amount for the new list to something different from an old list. So you can only have 1 budget for every list. Annoying to have to change the budget every time you open the list but otherwise good

Love this app. It calculates correctly and allows you to mark whether each item is taxable or not. You can insert how much you have to spend and not worry about going over your budget. If you get something that isn't in the app already it'll remember it for next time you need to buy it.

To be brief... this app is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! It's extremely helpful to me when shopping. To prevent me from having to re-enter items, when I'm done shopping, I just uncheck all the items I want to keep on my list. I love the fact that it totals everything that I'm purchasing and keeps me on track as to what I'm about to spend.

Pretty good so far. Going to test it out today. A really cool feature to add could be price tracking at different grocery stores to figure out the best prices consistently at which stores.
