They took down the app then uploaded again, which now there are two versions of the app out there. Yes only can download one now but I have 2 on my phone. One that has my crops one that doesn't. So i can not update without loosing my info. They also do not allow you import pictures you must take them in the app. Its overall not a bad app but because of the above. There is better. Edit: As they admitted to the problem. The only thing stopping groots from being #1 is picture import.
Works ok, finally added days back but the fact changes like that are made so sudden with no alert or care for the data loses another star. Not being able to export the images taken with the app is huge waste of time on all the previous images taken, syncing to other devices is not a solution it's a work around. Will have to switch to a more functional app.
It's a decent app, bit has some issues. Being able to make changes to past dates would be really nice, so I can enter in missed data, or correct data. Being able to get rid of notices of alarms after the fact would be nice as well.
Best app for this. Small fixes and more options would make it 5 star. Like if you could turn on and off individual notifications. Maybe use photos from your album. Add days to a cycle action (you can do it under cycles manually). But not a big deal.
It misses a lot of increasing. At first it should have more fertilizers brands, such as top crop, or at least allow us create a custom with defined parameters, not only water volume. Then it should let us customize our environment, it always say the temperature and humidity are not good enough, don't matter what they are. It won't allow us set the measurements such as pH. It is a good ideia and thought it would get better with the time, but nothing changes at all
I am running a "virtual" crop through the app. It would be nice if there were some options for autoflowers. So far it seems to be working ok, though button placement makes it less intuitive.
This would be an awesome app but the first big thing I noticed is that when I add a crop it automatically sets it for today's date. The problem with that is that I started my germination on the 30th so my grow will be 4 days off and my OCD can not handle that. I do not see a way to edit the date at all so I am not going to use this app. Fix that and I will use it.
Very good app for home gardening, with great potential. Suggested improvements: add contact and help links; import photos; swipe between crops; export/share options. Keep it up!
Ugh! Highly upset right now. Reluctantly updated this app & now some of my progress pic are gone. This was a 5 star app otherwise. Those photos were very important to me. My first successful plants & no pictures to show😣 ETA: 4/30/20 It's back to a 5 ☆ app again! Thanks for the improvements. Don't know what happened but my old info is back! ETA: 5/19/20 Lol My pics got deleted again! I'm gonna have to find another app.
Beautiful Design. Works well and has a lot of features. Would love a way to upload photos, as most of my grows are remote and I get photos sent to me.
Fairly decent app. Would be cool if you could add more light cycles within one crop just like light timers that have multiple on/off programs.
decent app, could use a bit of polishing though, such as fixing several spelling errors and and adding a dedicated help section (where one would be able to access all the help texts)
My fav grow app. As a new grower I really liked this app, but as a new grower I made mistakes. Would give 5 stars if I could edit the timeline and duplicate crops. Keep up the good work.
The reason I have it a 2 was because it wont let you edit the time table say my plants have been up for about 3 days but when you click new crop it starts you off at gemination period and wont let you change it looked everywhere couldnt find where to change your growth cycle

First week, very direct so far. Seems like a very no nonsense grow journal helper. Maybe a bit too simple, could maybe look at a few other additions. Will update as my experience with first grow finishes
Love this app, but wish it would let me upload pictures of my plants! 😠If it would upload my pictures, this would be the best free grow app, hands down!!! Will give 5 stars if I can get my app to upload pictures.
It's one of the more intuitive and better growing apps, I recommend them to anyone needing an app to help with your grow show!
The app always displays an icon badge even though I removed its permission. I reinstalled and the icon badge is still there. I can't continue using it for this reason.
So whoops, not the crop I'm going for, but I sure wish the people coding apps for arugula enthusiasts would get on your level, because you look like you're doing it a lot better than they are.
Love the app so far but it really needs to be able to be used in landscape screen mode.
Wicked app but would definitely like to see a spot to put ( toping, training and curing ) as they are big parts in getting big and tasty product
This is my second review and unfortunately I had to drop it to 2 stars. Again it could be great with some fine tuning, but its like the developer doesnt care. It falls short & is disappointing. Its a bit clumsy & takes a bit of trial & error to get around in it. One of my plants was supposed to harvest, but I decided to let it in for another 2 wks. I forgot to change the time cycle and now it placed it in harvest with no way of getting it back into flower section. I definitely don't recommend!
