Group Ringtone
Group Ringtone also supports a default ringtone for all your contacts. By setting the default ringtone different from your phone's default ringtone, you can have different ringtones for stored contacts and "unknown" (not stored) contacts.
Possible scenarios, where Group Ringtone helps you, are:
* You want different ringtones for private and business contacts, but you do not want to set the ringtone manually each time you add a new contact.
* You buy a new phone. While your contacts are automatically synchronized from your Google account, your ringtones are not. Use Group Ringtone to set up all your ringtones again.
Differences between full version and lite version:
Lite: no automatic background updates, only 2 contact groups definable, adsFull: automatic background updates, unlimited number of contact groups, no ads

Ok but odd behavior. Since installing many calls that should use the default ring tone have wrongly rung with the last configured contact. Very annoying. Plus when I installed the program it said it wasn't compatible. Are there any plans to provide an updated version? I did purchase the app BTW.
In general it does the job but... a quite severe problem I faced is that after I set a default method to choose ringtones it does not offer anymore an option to change this default. It's very awkward, abnormal to set a default, any default, once and not be allowed to change it again.
I like the ability to set a ringtone for a group of contacts. The LG contacts app has it built in. Wish they would update this app and add the ability to set a text notification fine as well. Our at least so Android would stop complaining about how old it is.
Finally! Man, I've been waiting for this app for 10 years! The only thing i would suggest is when arranging the order of entries maybe use drag and drop instead of long-press then move up or down one row at a time.
This app has been a life saver. I can put all of my contacts into a group and give them one ring. Then leave the unknown numbers to the default ring. in order to give individual people a distinctive ring oh, I found I needed to remove them from my contacts list group. then I was able to give family members each their own ring. This is been a great way to be alerted to spam.
once you figure out how to use it you can set ringtones for your contact list and set default ringtone "none" for any other calls (like incessant spam calls). don't forget to change it back to a ringtone if you ordered delivery
App needs a Dark background. Also, it complains (and nags) that it is built for an older version of Android - please update.
I paid for the program, installed it and got message, that it may not work properly because it wasn't updated for new versions of Android. And guess what. IT DOESN'T WORK.
Does what it says. My use is to make my default ring none. Bye bye annoying robo calls Then use Group ring tone to assign a custom tone to my contacts. This App automates an otherwise tedious task.
Doesn't work with Android 10. It runs but the ring tones do not activate when I get a call.
Works petfectly as described! I use the paid version version because I wanted option of more than 2 contact groups.
If i install this app I keep getting missed calls because my phone is not ringing. Not an any of there settings. I send them 4 emails but no responce.
well, it works just like it said it would, and I really have forgotten about it once I put it in place and got it all set up. So that makes it even more valuable. That's really worth the 5th Star right there.
This an excellent app very easy to use and organizes all your ringtones in a jiffy highly recommended a must have

Does exactly what I wanted - assigns everyone a ring tone based on their group.
Works great as moto software won't let you set ring tones for groups. Love this app.
Yay custom ringtones per groups again! My S5 had this feature but the 6T does not.

Works well. Ultimate enhancements would be 1. "Group Text Notification Sound" Exactly the same functionality, but for texts. I use Textra and it's like a 5 click process to set each and every contact to a new ringtone when switching phones. 2. Visual display of who has what ringtone assigned. Like a file/folder display. Reverse too... A given ringtone has what people associated.
