Group Ringtone Lite
Group Ringtone also supports a default ringtone for all your contacts. By setting the default ringtone different from your phone's default ringtone, you can have different ringtones for stored contacts and "unknown" (not stored) contacts.
Possible scenarios, where Group Ringtone helps you, are:
* You want different ringtones for private and business contacts, but you do not want to set the ringtone manually each time you add a new contact.
* You buy a new phone. While your contacts are automatically synchronized from your Google account, your ringtones are not. Use Group Ringtone to set up all your ringtones again.
Differences between full version and lite version:

Works so far! I already had groups this allows bulk assigning of a ringtone to each group. The older program I had would not work with Android 10. Ads are not too intrusive. You could use it as telling you it's a possible spam call by assigning all your contacts various ringtones then assign a default ringtone and that one would be one not in your contacts. Thanks to the developer.
It does the job it says it's going to do. The free version allows you to manage ringtones for only two groups. If you want more you'll have to pay. Each time you add a contact to one of these two groups, the app reminds you to refresh the ringtone. It uses less cell data if you manually set off the refresh.
I'm not sure what to rate this. When I replaced my phone, it worked beautifully. On my new phone, it doesn't work at all. I emailed the creators but have not heard back. For now, I have to give it a low rating until they fix it. It is now several months later and still no reponse. Please fix your app to work on my Moto G phone!
This app is absolutely awesome to "block" spam calls.. I waited a few months B4 reviewing to be sure. Maybe there are easier ways, but i did this.. Step 1. Use voice recorder on phone to record 3 sec of silence. 2. Name file "Silent_Ringtone". 3. Move file to phone's "Ringtones" Folder. 4. Set as Default Ringtone. 5. Using this "Group Ringtone" app set an actual (audible) ringtone for your "My Contacts". RESULT.. Your Contacts ring through. All others are silent "rings". --- Vic Maine .
I like this app a lot Two yrs with two phones . Functionally great I use it so only calls from an existing contract in a group in my contacts will ring my phone. Very happy with it. New phone with android 10 claims it is using lots of battery. Prior android 8 did not complain. This app is far more important to me than somewhat degraded battery.
Very bad that the app broke the default setting on the phone + unable to undo too. App changed ringtone to a custom, later unable to revert back to the default ringtone for all 1000+ contacts. immature & unprofessional app, i don't recommend.
Great ap. No issues. I set default to a single beep, everyone else gets a nice Ring tone. If I hear a single beep then it's likely a telemarketer. It even reminds me of I have added contacts but not updated their ringtone.
Great for quickly establishing a ring tone for you contact groups. Android dropped the native ability to do that a while ago, so this app is perfect. Pixel 3
I have gotten where I don't want to answer the phone if the caller is not somebody I know. This app allowed me to create different ringtones for contacts and non contacts. Easy to use.
Love this app! Works well and is great to be able to make groups from your contacts with different ringtones. Very handy!
Great STOPGAP APP! I installed this app so I could set a default ringtone for every non contact caller (to avoid spam & telemarketers). App worked wonderful for about 10 days, then ALL my calls again rang thru with my contacts.😓TO be fair, nation's spam & telemarketing calls PROBLEM is huge! GOOGLE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST & CALL NUMBER GIVEN!. By law none can call you after 31 days. Then if calls, you can call that number again & file a complaint, offender's number). Then reset APP default
Notification comes up everyday that 6 contacts need ringtones updated. Refresh and the message appears next day. Getting old quick.
Play store generated a warning upon installation that this app may not work on Android 10, and indeed it doesn't in my case. Took me half an hour to reset the mess it made after uninstalling. Will wait for it to be updated.
seems to work fine. cannot turn notifications off. the whole reason i downloaded the app was to make my phone quiet. it woke me up 3 times overnight.
Did not work. I tried it on a ZTE-R2 phone, however, it did not play the assigned Ringtone. It still played the default.
This app lets me set separate ringtones for my saved contacts and unknown numbers. Thats all i needed and it does that job well.
Continue to tell same ringtones need updated.over and over again. They have been updated and verified as to proper ringtone.
Simple and easy to setup. Works great to identify callers not in your contacts.
So far this is the only app ive found to suit my needs. No complaints. But, i would like to see notifications included. That would make this 5 🌟 for me.

Seems to do what it says. Can have a different ring tone for those not in my address book, ie nuisance calls.
Works perfectly. My contacts ring, everyone else is silent. Important calls can leave voicemail.
Love the app, would have purchased it... if it had option of NONE or SILENT ringtone so that we can silence a particular group.
I have many music, without browse function it's useless for me, I will never find the time what I want :(

This app used to set 5 or 6 groups. Now only 2. NO ONE WHO USES GROUPS TO ORGANIZE THEIR CONTACTS HAS ONLY 2 GROUPS. Now the app is pointless.
So far so good. I was able to create a single group for contacts in the Google contacts, and then use this app to set a ringtone for contacts that is different from the default. The big issue was that I was starting to get spam calls and that really irks me. So this helps. Hopefully I can still set individual ringtones for people without messing anything up.
