easy to use! would like an option to delete messages sent in error or something but overall just awesome! (edit) My rate used to be 5 stars but lately the app doesn't let me post any gifs, every single time it gives me an error and it's so annoying, sometimes closing the app and reopen it makes it work but only a few times. Too bad I use it for work otherwise I'd uninstall for sure!

The app works well. The only issue I had was the time zones on the calendar changing automatically (there should be a way to set a time zone and it stay). This is more of a recommendation than an issue but once something on the calendar is done, it's just gone; it would be nice for those to be grayed out but still visible or something so you can reference back to them if need be. :)

We use on Sundays/Wednesdays telecommunication with our church members (approx. 30). We enjoy this app. However, it takes a number of recalls/time just trying to get connected. Update, the previous comment re: connection process is much improved. This app has been an excellent tool for our church. It allows us to have a sense of fellowship.

When I had my s8, the individual messages always showed up late, like a day or two later so I always had to open the app to be sure I didn't miss any messages... I just got an s22 ultra and the app works so much better. It doesnt just pop up the dms a day late. Just thought you should have a heads up if you have an older phone.

Unfortunately the app doesn't work well on One Plus 6. I can't type or like messages, and pictures don't load. It seems to work just fine for others, but no matter how many times I reinstall the app, the error always comes back within a day. And it stays until I reinstall it again.

I see they're deleting critical reviews of the app. My last review was deleted so giving it another go. The app needs a whole lot of work, the account creation process consistently fails, there is no password confirmation when creating a password, if the service fails to log you in despite giving the correct credentials and loging text code a number of times they will automatically schedule your account to be deleted, and I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't properly encrypting passwords

Groupme, for some reason, will not let me send messages if I don't back out and then let it load 15 times. Any failed messages I "retry" won't go through no matter how many times I try, it takes forever to load, and nothing works unless I have 5 bars at all times. I'm in the middle of a crisis trying to text paragraphs, please fix your issues.

I use this app for work. The last 3 updates, I'm not sure what happened but we are struggling to add people to the chats or delete them. We just keep getting error messages saying that we are unable to add/delete that person. No other issues besides that but it's a major issue. This issue is happening on both Android and Apple.

I've missed so many messages over the years on this app due to unpredictable, uncontrollable and random notifications. Today I had a message pop up that someone sent 3.5 years ago!!! Unbelievable!!! I wonder how many others messages were sent to me that I'll never see or will get years later! Absolutely terrible!

Love this Group text messaging app. I have used it over the past several years for kids sports teams, work groups, famy groups. Love it! Allows you to add and delete members without changing the base group. Can customize individual profile images, sounds etc. Works great! Never a problem with the app!! Would and do recommend this app to all of my group affiliation.

It's great for messaging, but unable to unmute chat after multiple attempts of Uninstalling the app, via the web, and turning of and on notifications. So I miss conversations. If you download and use it, I don't recommend using the mute feature as it has bugs that they are unable to resolve.

Nice that it's free and you can mention people and like their messages. The poll feature is nice. Notifications, though, are terrible. I never get them! I've read FAQ articles and reset the settings, and directed messages never give me notifications! Has gotten me in trouble with some people because I simply didn't see their message!

Until recently I would give it a 5 but the last few weeks messages aren't showing up right away. Now it won't let me open images to send and the screen goes totally black. I'm not sure what's wrong. Other than that, thank you for a great app! Generally like it a lot.

If it weren't for my kids sports teams using this app I would never use it. First I couldn't sign back in because I didn't have access to the phone number on my account. Then when I tried to create a new account it kept telling me the pin they sent me 3 times in a text was incorrect and it wouldn't let me create a new account. I finally just emailed the coach and asked for a copy of the schedule cause I couldn't use the app.

App functions but is laggy. It launches slower than expected, and opening message threads often takes several seconds. Surprising how poor performance is for a messaging app, especially when comparing it to its contemporaries such as Facebook Messenger, which is extremely responsive on my device.

The registration process (I'm based in Europe) is tiresome and for my case it didn't work. I got a pin for the first trial (it came with a delay) and while entering it it said pin not accepted. And after the first pin, it stopped sending anymore pins and the screen froze on entering my phone number without going to the next page. I tried with different numbers and it had the same behavior.

Updated the app after a year and it signed me out... Clicking on forgot my password for it to reset it. Not only does it recognize my email and phone number. But it would not email me the reset link. Then you check for customer support and there isn't any on the app or web. You have to check the playstore for that. Very bad setup

My family uses this app for our own instant messenger service. It keeps our conversation separate from other conversations so we can quickly and easily respond to each other in a group setting. It allows us to plan events and coordinate with minimum fuss. So far, Spam isn't an issue.

This has been great for group texting as many of the people in our group have trouble with regular group texting. There are occasionally issues with a member not receiving these messages, but I feel like it's been a minute since that was an issue.

People are having a difficult time adding my number to group chats, and it adds unnecessary hassle because they have to accommodate me. If anyone reads these, please let me know if having multiple emails puts too much strain on the app, and how I can make it easier to be added to other's chats. Thank you!

I really like that this app is easy to use. You can silence the groups whenever you need to. I wish is was an easier way to go back to old messages without having to scroll back so far. Otherwise, very easy and simple way to communicate with groups of multiple people.

Horrible at this point. I am unable to find any new groups or anything outside of my current chat groups, connect to a campus, or my settings. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling still no fix. I try going to the website and it just keeps sending me to the app store screen. Piece of trash in my opinion.

Use this with our church congregation and overall it works great. I don't like that I can delete old messages from years ago. Also for whatever reason the top portion of a group chat is cut off. You can only see the top portion of the words of the name of the group, making it unsharable, etc.

Kura group me is a good app. To keep in touch with your co-workers at the job place. It's super convenient to be able to check in and see if anyone can cover your shift or to pick up extra shifts.

Good app for communication with a big group. Wish it had an option to share pictures better like in Shutterfly where you can create folders and people in your group can all add to it. In GroupMe you can only add 1 picture at a time which notifies the whole group. So if you have 20 pictures you want to share with the group, everyone would get notified 20 times that you added something to the group text.

Pros: allows group and private messages, like button for each message, allows participation by sms or email without an account. Cons: frequently unable to add participants by phone number--sometimes with no indication they weren't added, phone numbers are inaccessible for named users even when uploaded from my phone's contacts, must mark messages as read on each device and there is no button for this in the notifications on my phone.

Super annoying, I need to have two accounts, one for school and one for work. Even by using different emails and different devices for each account, it won't let me be signed in to each at the same time because I have to use the same number. If I sign into one on my phone and one on my computer, every time I sign into one, it signs me out of the other. I'd rate 4 stars if I didn't have to deal with this.

It's been a great way to connect. I've had to use it several time over the years for different organizations. It beats mass texting and definitely helps when things change last minute.

Never works right with my samsung phone. It took over a year to get the software right for my note20 ultra and now with my new s22 ultra I can't even log in. Alway give me an error. This time the error is account verification. I guess it will be fixed just in time for my next upgrade. 😌
