I don't recommend this app. It's the only one I see available for grow mobile banking at this time though. I don't need to manage my cards. I need to manage my accounts. It doesn't show a lengthy transaction history. It also doesn't include my credit card account balance along with checking and savings like the old grow app did. Not impressed. Very disappointed. Not sure if mobile check deposit is available on this one either. I really liked that feature.
Unable to set up account after many attempts. Foreign customer service absolutely useless. Sent me to regular customer service who verified my info was correct. Back to card manager cust. serv., unable to do anything. Have contacted cust. svc. via email. No response. Removed and reinstalled app multiple times. No affect. Always get a verification code but no where to put it. Always same message: try again later. Advised them to remove app from store til they get it together. Very frustrated.
Worked fine until my card expired. Got sent a new card and tried to update my card information but it won't let me. Say "the information you provided does not match our records" I've tried deleting the card and re-entering it and that didn't work. Before that, I tried just changing the expiration date and 3-digit security code (because that's the only information that's changed) and that didn't work. Tech support is absolutely no help!!
I tried to register and the app said the username and email address were already in use. So, I tried to login as I do on my computer and it said the information was invalid. I tried several times, but nothing worked. It is extremely important for me to be able to access my account information when away from my home. This app doesn't allow that. This is a problem. If I can't count on being able to access my information after having an account with this bank since when they were MacDill FCU many years ago, I will be forced to change banks to one that has an app that works which would be a major problem on many levels.
Now I see what all the reviews are saying. Bank of America does it all on one app. Personally I think grow should have card manager on banking app. I deleted the app. Would like to manage my cards I couldn't even get on! I've tried several times. I think it's important to be able to manage your cards
Work perfect for about 3 weeks. Then started leaving messages stating, sorry try again later. Call tech suport Numerous times since July 30, 2019. No result, no one can figure out why this app does not work yet they created it. The old notification system that they did away with worked perfect for many years. New is not good this app does not work. I would have rated this 0 stars if that was an option.
The app randomly stopped working. As a result, I was locked out. I could not change the controls on the transaction amounts, which virtually kept me from accessing my funds. If this happens, the credit union can't help you. We need a solution like Discover and Capital One has. My favorite is Discover.
Really don't understand the negative feedback for this app. Perhaps a few months things were haywire but currently it is a very friendly and versatile app. I can log in just fine with my login credentials, I can suspend and unsuspend my card at will, I can enable a location match to monitor my location relative to my card usage, I can access my transactions, and many other options. This is essentially the same as the Grow mobile app, but with abilities to control your cards. 5/5 for me.
Dismal. Hardly ever works. Notifications do not display properly. Links dont work. Unbearable and pointlessly redundant security layers, require multiple inputs, and deliver failed user experience with ultimately no benefit. A worthless, and nearly unusable app.
the update is way better than what it was before. i had to get this app because the old one is no longer available. i was a bit skeptical about it asking my card info but its so it can alert you when its in use. i love getting emails and texts of when and where my card was used and that i can add cards onto the account.
Never gets the job done. I will lock my card to prevent usage, but when I need to unlock, I keep getting an error. Logging in is a hot mess even though the credentials are correct. I don't know why they just put everything in the settings with the original app. Why should I download another app for the same account??
There's still many bugs in this app. Continues to reset its own min-max for alert. Will not allow me to change it. Continues to send me alerts even when it's been disabled. I've removed it till you get the bugs out.
gives me an error message when I try to register. The only reason I want this app is so that I can travel abroad without having to call to notify the bank to avoid my card getting declined. they said to use this app, but it doesn't work. big waste of time. now I have to call and sit through long hold times.
The app doesn't apparently work after any type of update is done. I used the app and now it wants to verify my identity but it can't. And support from Grow is terrible . It's been a week and I haven't gotten any response. Once I am able to get I to the app I will undo any settings and then uninstall it.
Only had this app for about two months and it's great. The other day i gotten a call to verify a trainsaction I made. With all the scamers & other ways pepole are getting taken away with this is good to know you get a call informing you on trainsactions as well as you can set it up to how you want. One more thing to have for safty & you can have pice of mind knowing you can stop trainsactions before its to late.
very dissapointing. features seem to dissapear and than reappear after force closing such as accounts link; fingerprint lock rarely works as intendee for the app, usually just locking my screen; UI less intuitive than former version
this app is terrible. I had the old app which was sufficient. they discontinued they previous app and I am forced to use the new one. no data was ported over, I have to reestablish an entirely new online account. I have been historically pleased with Grow , however this experience will likely cause me to terminate my relationship with them.
Can't use this app because it tells me my user already exists because I used to use this app. Since the upgrade I can't get my passwords reset I can't access the app and I can't use the mobile banking app because it hasn't been upgraded at the Play Store either. Don't tell me to call for assistance unless you're going to be open 24 hours to help.
I don't understand why you would push an app that doesn't work at all. I tried to register and ran into 15 million problems. It kept expiring on me during the registration part and eventually it just wouldn't let me register at all. I legit can't get past registration. Also, I tried using my new card even though I did activate it and it wouldn't work. So why do I need an app to use my card?! Why does this need to be connected to my phone? Why can't I just have the card and that's it?!
New app is terrible. Limited info available via app is not helpful. What happened to full service banking via the app? Pointless to use, actually easier to log in on a web browser now and actually have data and functions available.
Available balance is not accurate if there are pending charges. These charges are not reflected showing more money available than actually is. I am no longer able to transfer funds to my daughter's account.
the original banking app was so much more functional. i can't transfer funds and its way harder to see my pending transactions and balances. the layout is awful.
App just started to not open anymore. Tried clearing the cache, uninstall/reinstall but to no avail, it just auto closes on open. Terrible app!!!
THIS APP SUCKS!!! After logging out I tried to log back in and I can't because it says my username or password are incorrect when they are NOT incorrect! This app is completely useless!!!
Not working at all. Keeps locking up. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the problem still exists. Was working fine weeks ago then stopped. Phone Google Pixel 3xl
Unable to set transactional alerts. Also, when I tried to use card manager from the Grow banking app, it says the app isn't installed but sends me to the app on the play store (which IS installed 🙄)
Doesn't work. Won't open says to try again later everytime i try to access the app. It work in the beginning but now just doesn't work at all.
I just got a new card today. it's activated already but when I try to add it into the app to look my transactions it says it doesnt recognize the info I am putting which it is right...
Can't paste password at login from password manager app. This only encourages poor security habits. So this app fails even before it's used. Uninstalled immediately. Please fire whoever created this app.
The new setup really sucks!!! They should have kept the old system the way it was and just added the feature of card management.. sometimes people don't have time to login and go through all of THAT! They just want the quick view to see what the balance is on everything at once without logging in just like before especially if you're in a situation like driving.. it was made too complicated... I absolutely hate it!!! The only positive thing from it is being able to turn your card on and off...
