Grow Garden App

I quite liked this app and had done a lot of work organizing gardens and maintenance timetables. I hadn't used it in a while. It needed an update and now all of that work is gone.

Decent app. Great concept. The app crashes often. When you are taking pictures and the phone changes from landscape to portrait mode, you lose all of your entered data. Also, I spent quite a bit of time taking multiple pictures of my individual patches; and the app only saved 2 pictures for each patch. This was a colossal waste of time. The pictures saved initially. I could review each patch and look through the pictures. I closed the app and reopened later, the pictures were gone!

I love this app. It's very pretty for starters, but also works very nicely. Few things, it crashes when I try to add a photo from the gallery. Can we have custom categories for plant types (rather than just 'other') or can you at least add ferns 😃!). Also I'm in the southern hemisphere so all the growing tips don't apply. Be nice if I could hide them in the settings. And finally, any thoughts of a premium version of without ads? I'd happily pay, But mostly keep up the great work!

I really love this app. It's been great to catalogue the plants I have and want in my garden. The measurements though are all metric. I wish there were an option for inches / feet. I love that I can add my own pictures and plants. I wish there were an option for evergreen, and to check both sun and partial shade. And to be able to filter which ones grown in which conditions since those are choices would be amazing!! Thank you for this app!!

Great app for organising your garden. You can create multiple patches/beds, with multiple photos, then list the plants you have in each patch. Each plant entry can have multiple photos, as well as as much detail as you want to enter for each. Cudos to the developers for being very responsive when errors are reported, with speedy replies and a fix forthcoming in a matter of days. Fantastic service!

Fantastic gardening app! Seems to be well thought out. It has a beautiful interface and the actions calendar is useful for flowerbed maintenance and bloom schedules. Would love to see an option to set height of plant and a setting to select preferred unit (cm or in) in the future.

I didn't find it particularly user friendly. Had to go through multiple options/screens to find what I was looking for. I just want to be able to put the date I plant something and then a notification for when harvesting is ideal.

Great functions and UI so far. Would love to have an alarm/notification feature for the actions. Right now, I'm forced to use another app just for the reminders but I would very much prefer to stick to just this one.

Good so far, some frustrating items - when entering a plant, if the screen rotates it clears the info entered, if your adding a photo and go back without picking one, it clears the info. No way to add multiple pictures per plant. Looking forward to some additional updates to hopefully fix some of these.

Does not allow enough detail. Only monthly timing allowed. Plots only record what has been planted there, cannot show actual position of planting. App has good layout and intuitive to use, I just need to be able to record more detail so uninstalled.

Your annual calendar is something I haven't ever been able to find in any other garden or plant app. I specifically use your app for bonsai because it reminds me of what I need to be doing when. I wonder if you'd ever expand and add more features for the bonsai hobbist? It still is very much a garden app, which is great; however, I find it so interesting I'm able to use it so loosely for bonsai as well. Do you have a web page as well where you can have both phone and webpage access?

I have enjoyed using this app so far. I have been a once a year vegetable gardener and I wanted a way to pass the skill to my children. This app helps with that. Thank you developers for an app that has a calendar to help with the skills in gardening.

Great app, very useful. I use it for my bonsai tree collection. Edit (28. Nov. 2020): thank you for the update. The back up option is just what we wished for. Continue the great work.

This app just does not work. [Using on Samsung A50]. There appears to be no links between the different elements. Having created a 'patch' it won't allow me to add plants to it. I can select the ' type' of plant e.g. 'tree' but that's it. Utterly pointless. [Using on Samsung A50].

Im enjoying this app so far. Im still setting up my patches and learning all the names of my plants. This app is helpful! Does it have a way to change the tips to suit the seasons in the southern hemisphere?

My suggestion; Add button progress (such as, upload image, condition of the tree etc) on every date on "Action" so we can see progress of the tree.

Eh. I will keep this app for now. Just downloaded it and the database of plants seems very limited. I could not find the most common flowers. No info on impatiens, begonias, hostas..etc

Dont know what the point is. Its useless. If i had photos of the plants i wanted in my garden i wouldnt be using an app to design one🙄 It doesnt help plan a garden or yard layout at all

DON'T INVEST in this app unless you want to convert to metric system for plant size and temperatures. Also, only about 6 plants are in free version. HOW MANY PLANTS IN PAID VERSION? Is it 1 charge per plant or 1 charge for HOW MANY SPECIES?

Such good app. Never had a garden like this before! Would recommend :)
