Grow journal
The grow journal application is a great tool for anybody new to farming and those who do hobby farming. You can keep track of your garden by using reminders, inserting feedings, notes and pictures. You can export journals in text format.
FEATURES:
- Track different types of plants with an intuitive, yet simple design.
- Track each week using a color code depending on stage of the plant (veg, flower, harvest).
- Track each day by inserting notes, feedings, and pictures. Track temperatures, parts per million and ph.
- Add and delete images with comments. Images are stored on the sdcard.
- Zoom in/out and rotate images. Save rotated images.
- Set notifications to remind you when to feed your plants, mix your soil/fertilizer, etc.
- Thumbnails are automatically added to each grow so you can have a quick view of the last picture.
- Hydroponics setting with ec or ppm value input.
- Export journals in text format for sharing on social media.
- View how many days have passed since the start of a journal.
- Archive journals.
PERMISSIONS:
- INTERNET is used to serve ads only. Your privacy is important and I do not collect any data from app users.
- The sd card is used to put images so I don't fill your data folder and kill your phone's internal memory.

simple to use with enough data input
Did a child make this 😳 i mean what was this a college project for some kids? Garbage 🗑 i could do the same thing with my phone already.

Ease of use is key.
Really like this app. Useing it not for plants but for my Isopod and Springtail cultures. Would be alot more useful if there was more ways to customize your info. Also to be able to move your weeks up and down (or auto arrange in order of date would be helpful to. All in all a good app....
Hi I really like this app & find it very useful. A few of suggestions that I think would make it even better. 1st one is the way the days are listed when you want to edit a week. They always start with a Sunday, even if you edit a week's date to be a Monday, which is the most accepted start day of the week, in the Western world at least. It would be nice if you could choose which day is listed as the first day in the week. 2nd I see an option to export, but no option to restore, if for instance you were to want to put your whole journal on a different phone. This could be really bad after all the time taken to build a journal of a lot of plants. 3rd thing is that any photos do not save to the SD card on my phone. The app seems to see my phones memory as an SD card & saves them there. It would be nice to have an option to choose where photos are saved. Also where archived plants & exports are saved too. Thanks for your hard work on the app. Hope those things might be included in an update. Cheers
I love it! Only one thing, I made a journal for each of my 3 plants, and one for my seedlings, and made specific notes for each plant, (took well over an hour, it's now 2am 😴) then realized I needed to make a quick note on all the plants, so instead of having to go to each one and make the same note, I decided to use the feature that let's you select which plant(s) journal you want to save your note under. I selected all of my plants, made the note, and hit save- assuming it would just tac-on this final note at the bottom of all of my other plant specific notes... turns out it actually deletes all prior notes, and replaces them with the note that was applied to all of the journals at once. PLEASE FIX!!!!! :)) I'll fix my notes tmr, but I'm excited to be able to add a note to the end of previous journals. Thank you for all your dedicated hard work on this app, you are doing fantastic, and your communication with all of your "customers" is really unbelievable! Can't wait to rate 5 stars. Keep up the good work!
This app is amazing, really nice features. Just have one issue that I cannot change the date as the app freezes👎
Absolute garbage Note 8 won't access st card or open camera (force stop every time)
I really like this app! I'd pay for an ad free version. Oh, and like others, I experience issues where the pics don't rotate and the dates are not changable also.
Nice app BUT full of bugs. For example, it crashes when I try to change the date on a journal.
Force closes when I try to modify date from long pressing in journal or week menu on my Moto droid force. Would like to see a calendar feature in the future. Would rate 5 stars if things resolve
Not bad can use some major updates. Starting with the date issue. I start a plant today and it says day 8 already. Why. It should be day week 1 day 1 will this ever get fixed or should people look for a better working app
Appears to be designed for HYDROPONICS, not for normal gardening. Also, it looks like you have to join Facebook to use it.
its good but can you add dates next to the days when adding notes. so ie what im growing > add note > select day (add the day of those days by the day so ie show Monday 1st, Tuesday 2nd, so on)
Great app. Easy to use and intuitive. 1. Should be feedback link in app so don't have to come here and find it to Tell people it's great. 2.Choose pic for grow at top level 3.group, colapse, expand by grow cycle, germination, vegetation,flower etc
Great app, wish it did not have adds. Use it for my hydroponic setup. I wish it was available on Apple devices.
After updating my phone to a Samsung s8+ this app no longer works correctly, it crashes when trying to change date of the week for example. Great app but I can't use it now.
Can't change sample to my own. Uninstalling.
*Does not update date (stays as date you made profile) *Photo update is buggy *When you make new profile sometimes won't accept typed date. Fix all these bugs and I would pay for this app.... (Samsung S7)

Also id like to see a change so that I can extract full data not just txt or transfer to a USB stick
good concept, but hardly functional on s8+. ive been trying to use this app for 5 weeks now. i cannot seem to figure out how to add notes or feedings. When i add a feeding to an individual plant, it never shows up. When i add a feeding to multiple plants at once, it will add to the most recent week - not the actual date for some unknown reason - and you cant choose what day you want to add it to. Whats even worse - it wont let me remove the feeding notes placed on incorrect dates.
