Grow Room Green Screen Light
This app should work just as well for outdoor soil gardens as it does for indoor hydroponic gardens. It's not a lot of light, but enough to find something without fumbling in pitch dark. You can decrease your brightness if you think it's bright enough to trigger female hormone production in your plants... or increase the brightness if it's not bright enough to see within a couple feet.
Great for emergencies... Left your car keys in your indoor garden and the lights are off? Don't stress out your tomatoes during their dark cycle... just pull out your phone and scan for them in a green spectrum.
Once opened the entire screen will be green. Just touch the screen to view the navigation buttons of your device in order to close the application.

I may, in the future, offer a more feature rich app as I progress. Maybe with settings so you can automatically change your screen to it's brightest, tab to turn on/off, etc. I might offer that as a pro version some day. But for now, I've found it to be easier, more efficient, and safer (as there's no other color besides green) than any of the few similar apps available. Or I might create an add-supported version if I'm able to display the ads in black (so it doesn't invite any non-green spectrum colors) in order to support a more complex version.
You might want to try it without your screen brightness all the way up. It's hard to tell if there's a 'backlight' brightening the screen or if the individual green LEDs are actually getting brighter.

This is a neutral rating because I haven't made it through flower yet to determine if it will interfere with my dark cycle. I have used it yesterday and tonight with success and it is exactly what it says it is. A green screen. My only concern is that it is not fully green. When I point it at something white in the dark I see green within the white. But I also see white reflecting back at me. This is true with the brightness all the way down. And when I point it at other colors (red and blue)
Thank you for creating this, and for keeping it simple and ad free! Exactly what I was looking for. Other apps offered for free had ad banners on the page, making them inappropriate for their intended purpose. From my flowering plants and myself, a sincere and grateful thank you.
This app giving you what it promises: a green screen. I love it, and you'll love it, if you need green screen. The graphics are perfect, no lag, high fps, even on low-end devices. Works on Note8.
Works as it's supposed to. I wouldn't expect a phone to light a grow room, would seem logical that the amount of light your phone can produce would be to just do a quick check. Can't see the reason for the low stars from people.
I honestly don't know why these bad reviews are here...you get exactly what it says...A green screen that emits a green light to look at your plants. I use a 2013 phone and it works well. Its a completely free app with no ads..what more do you want? To the Developer...great job man.
This is a great app for growers. Like someone said in another comment, I don't get how this app could get anything other than 5 stars. You get exactly what is promised. A bright green light suitable for seeing around your grow room in the dark without waking up the girls. No ads.. Superb job. Many thanks, I use this app every single day.
I would give this 10 stars if I could as this app is brilliant! I'm harvesting in an hr and this is what I'm using to cut the plants! However. Can you make the app where you can adjust the brightness? I'm an outdoor grower so I need a bit more boost...
New to to indoor growing. I do my best to keep from causing light pollution, but sometimes it can't be helped. Thanks to this brilliant app, now i can worry free check on the girls!

Comes very handy indeed 420 all the way. Has helped me a lot saves me a lot of time if need to disturb the ladys when they sleep I have used while in bloom Very good app. Don't b shy use it in bloom I guarantee you won't have issues.
If used this app a few times for my grow.Its really good better than buying some over priced hydro green torch .Never had any problems. A freind told me about it ages ago and if been using it ever since.i wish more apps were as good as this and do what they f__ken say.thanks mate.✌

No complains over here. Just need to see if my phone gets hot with use, I have it plugged in. I need light on my gardenias over night, and cloudy days. Thanks. Who woulda thought it. I may need to come back and give it 5 stars.
Tested with a 16x magnifier on a OnePlus 6 OLED screen. Only the green subpixels are lit. Guess this app works best with OLED.

It works but it only increases pigment levels in plants a more commonly used and more practical light used in hydroponics is purple/violet light
EXACTLY what it says it is... a freaking green screen light! How much more simple can the man explain it?! This is perfect for what I need it for!
