GrowIt!

This app has great potential but right now is pretty lackluster. there's no way for me to add plants into my projects, it says to click the add icon on any plant card, but there's no icon, so it won't let me make my projects public. the search function only searches things others have posted in your radius so if you live in a relatively unpopulated area you won't have much luck. many plants aren't listed when trying to add your own. there's no option to view things you've posted, like a feed.

I feel lied to! I downloaded the app because there was an add on FB saying that they were giving away free hydrangeas, and to enter to win within the app. After downloading there was absolutely NO mention of this ANYWHERE in it. Very disappointed!!! ****Edit: A very quick response led me to the site I was looking for. Although it was very unclear to begin with, I appreciate the further guidance in a timely manner. Thank you!

Redownloaded the app to see if more people use it and pretty much nobody does which is disappointing. My gro-wards do not show up either the page is blank. I also cannot update old plants it gives an error. Nothing in settings to contact someone about fixing the bug hence the review.

Love the app but on my Android I am having issues with capturing photos. The viewfinder that the app shows is not nearly accurate to the actual pictures that are taken so it requires a lot of guesswork to make sure I have the proper positioning to get the framing & composition I want

I been using this app for years to share progress of my plants and i look forward to updating my projects. I did have some technical issues with the app and some communication issues with the growit team but after some bug fixes on their side i updated my app and everything has been fixed. Thank you grow it team! <3

I am loving this app. As a new plant mama who recently discovered my thumb isn't as black as I thought it was, this app had been super helpful! It is also my new favorite social app. It's a wonderful community of positivity that is lacking in other places. The only improvement needed would be in the comments on posts and the notifications area. It's still a little clunky.

Enlightening! I love sharing my garden pictures, asking the community for ideas and help and just enjoying all the gardens just makes every experience on the app worth it! it gives me so much inspiration and gets me jump started on gardening every year. in the winter when all the beautiful colors are gone, I can open your app and see them to cheer me up. thank you!

Says i need a mandatory update but when i click on update, it just brings me to google play and i have the option of uninstalling or open. No update. This app crashes frequently and is not really user friendly nor really helpful with true plant identification. Mostly guesses from other users. Wanted something that would tell me what, where, how and when in regards to planting not just pics of peoples houseplants and such. Will be unininstalling.

Just downloaded. As soon as it required so much info to start an account I deleted it. I have an interest in plants and often come across unfamiliar ones while hiking. I don't feel like I should have to give out my age, gender and email account to be a part of a community about plants. None of my personal info is relevant to that. Very disappointing app.

love the concept and saw a thriving community, but the app was very laggy and slow to post even with on a fairly new phone and highspeed wifi. uninstalled after it crashed. would have loved to keep it.

It is awesome. It took a few minutes to upload each of my 37 individual plants, but I've already gotten identifications for 3 of my unknowns. It is neat seeing everyone's plants. Gives me ideas for new ones. :)

this is by far my favorite app community! not only do you get great answers/plant ID, but they do giveaways, and you can sign up to be a part of their growing trials. I love this app! it doesn't matter if you are new to gardening or a seasoned gardener and everything inbetween... this is the app for you!

Too much going on the app to find what your looking for, cluttered. I originally signed up because of the free plant sweepstakes, you don't get a notification for not winning or a confirmation that says you entered.

Apparently you can't add plants unless you give permission to record audio. That's not necessary to add photos or videos. I'm not a fan of unnecessary permissions. I'll have to look for another app.

Made several attempts to ask about identifying a plant. App keeps telling me it can't upload my plant card, blaming my connection (which ISN'T an issue). Any time I ask questions, I get no response. Not very user friendly, and too small of a following to be helpful. No point. UNINSTALLED.

it helped me identify a plant which was very helpful. I also tried to identify a weed but haven't gotten help with that yet. I think the photo part of the app could be better.

i think its a good app for someone looking for new interesting ideas for more metropolitan type gardens. living in populated areas means sharing space. this app helps exchange innovation and connection between communities. cool!

Would be a helpful app IF people ever actually responded to your posts. Im not sure if the community is just too small so no one is available to answer my posts or if there an algorithm or something preventing people from seeing it? Either way, the only thing I got accomplished with this app is posting pictures of my plants, asking a few questions, and NEVER getting feedback from anyone.

I love this app! If you're looking for an app that'll ID different plants, but also has a ton of plant pictures and tips, this is the app for you! There's so much to 'GrowIt!' that you won't need another plant app for anything!

I love grow it. It is so fun to identify plants. Also I really enjoy the community feeling. Everyone works together in answering questions and giving advice. It is so positive. Enoy connecting with local plant hobbyists. Unfortunately having issues uploading photos and posting questions. Keeps saying I can't create a plant card and to check my network. Why is the forwards not visible?

Password was too short, so I added 12 characters. The app continues to say "password too short" for 80+ characters and beyond. Definitely an in-app error, won't be using this

I absolutely LOVE this app. It's very Informative and the customer support Its the most helpful out of any app I've ever used!! I love how they make participating so much more exciting by there prizes!! (I actually won a plant😁🌿) If you love plants this Is the only app you need!!
