Grub Guardian

Downloaded this app 4 times just to make sure...I haven't been able to open it a single time. Every time I tap to open it it freezes and says there is a problem, then closes back down like nothing ever happened. I have yet to play this game because its inoperable. Kinda hard to give it a good rating when it's broken and unplayable. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S9.

I used to be able to level my pets up pretty consistently with this game, even when my family was hogging the computer and I couldn't get on. It was actually kinda fun, too! I never thought I'd get into a tower-defense type game, but here we are! But I haven't played in a while, and now I'm running into the same crashing issues as other reviewers. C'mon, KI, how can an award-winning game company let their apps fall apart like this?!

For a long time, Grub Guardian was the go to place for free items on Wizard101. I used to play Grub Guardian all the time for the gold and many amazing prize drops. However, upon getting back into it, there seems to be a multitude of issues. Personally, I have come across terrible connection problems on both mobile and on the offical webpage for Grub Guardian. The app has become near impossible to play now. I would not recommend GG to anyone who plays W101 until the connection issues get solved.

Best way to get a multitude of items for Wizard101...if you spend $5+ dollars unlocking good maps and towers. Its a cheap fee for such a great resource. The only gripe I have about this app is the network issues. Sometimes when I finish games I get disconnected and I lose my score/rewards. Doesn't happen every single time...but enough to lose a star rating (my phone has no internet issues, it's the app).

The biggest thing I don't like about this is when it's double pet xp for members when you log into the game online, but you don't get double xp in the app. I tend to save my mega snacks for the double xp times, and I just wasted one thinking it would work on the app. Hopefully you guys can think of a solution for this!

game won't load. tells me I have no connection and to sign up after it finally realizes there is a connection. I have an acct set up already. It let me in like ONCE since I installed it again. does this on multiple phones, and on both wifi and mobile network. according to devs is a known issue, but no update for MONTHS. Apparently no longer a priority for Kings Isle..

this app requires you to log into your account and enter a verification code every single time you enter the game, which is beyond annoying. I can understand having to do it once, but this is too much. also, if the internet drops while you play, it still uses all your consumables.

Installed and uninstalled this app four times. It still won't open for me. Emailed the company for help. recieved a reply back saying they were aware of the problem. A little while later received an email stating since I did not respond they assumed that the problem was corrected?! Not corrected. Still can't open the app.

I've been having issues for over a week, it kept saying that there was a connection issue. Now the app won't even open, it says Grub Guardian has stopped working. I've tried uninstalling but nothing. This happened after Samsung S8+ pie update. Not sure if that has to do with it.

Essential Phone(Android 9): Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, EVERYTIME I try to open it, it tells me it can't. This appears to be a common issue. Was considering jumping back into this and Wizard101 but not if you're ignoring problems you're aware exist. Get it together, please.

Alright, here's my version of the current experience: Similarly to another review, I contacted support about the launch issue. I received an email stating the problem was known. 24 hours later, I receive another email stating my ticket was closed due to lack of response. The previous message contained no questions that required response. Until this problem is resolved, the game is completely unplayable. (Pixel 3 XL, Android 10) It was fun when playable, though.

Used to work well. Recently there was an update to newer phones that stopped this app from opening. From what I have seen most people are having this problem, and Kingsile isn't doing much about it. The last update I have seen was over a year ago, I think its times for a new update, or a refund for my purchases on this app. Until then I will not change my rating

Stopped working with Android 9 (pie) on my Samsung Note 8. Was working fine previously on Android 8 (oreo). Based on all the other reviews, it's obvious that the app is not compatible with Android Pie. Hopefully it'll be an easy fix and eagerly waiting for an update from the developer.

Can't play the game anymore. The last update was 2017, and the game crashes instantly anytime you try to start it. Been playing Wizard101 since October of 2008 and it really bothers me that I can't level pets up through mobile anymore. I hope to see it updated.

I like this game, but when I'm playing it, leave, and I get back on to play again, the maps reset to the first Two maps. it shows that i still have medals in the maps that I have completed but they are locked again! Please help and fix this

"connection issues" no matter what wifi I use. no matter when i use it. I'll spend 10 minutes playing an entire match only to be greeted by "connection issues, kicking you to main screen" before the rewards page loads. all of the time is wasted for absolutely nothing. fix your app, Kingsisle.

It can be frustrating when levels are especially challenging, but this game is entertaining! It's best to play this game with Wizard101, since it can give you XP for your W101 pets (and since having a W101 pet makes the game easier to play!).

This game is a great way to level your pets in wizard101, but only if you can actually play it. I used to love playing this game, but king's isle threw it in the trash. If they fix the connection issues I will change my rating.

I wish I could give this game a good review but it's about as half assed as the actual game itself, so damn buggy, u have to tap a button 20 times to get it to work and even then it still barely works, the game doesn't even full screen and I feel like a 4th grader in computer class could make a better game than this, kingsisle is worthless game company, wizard 101 would be much better off without them

I used to play this all the time recently downloaded again, I've been trying to get it to work for my Samsung S8+ now for about a week or more to no progress doesnt even open now just closes off, ive noticed I'm not the only one with this issue ether

I've had this game installed on 3 different phones. All of them Samsung galaxy. On the new S10, it refuses to open for me. I've uninstalled and installed, restarted my phone, shut off my phone, nothing is working. I used to play a lot as it is easier for me than the games in game. Please tell me how to fix this so I can play again.

definitely a 5 star, besides the fact that i cant run the game anymore. instantly crashes before it even opens. have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. please fix @kingsisle

Can not open the app any more. It says it may not work properly cause it was made for older phones and says to contact the developer or check for updates. There have been no updates since 2017. So, I contacted kings isle.

Loved it when it worked. Spent ~$10 on this app only for it to stop working entirely, have no support for current and next generation devices, and to be ignored by support. This app has been abandoned by KI, so now I have to as well.

I loved this. Was a way to level up your pets when you couldn't be on often. Would give it 5 stars, but it currently only runs on older phones

I played this somewhat when I had my old phone but now it won't work guess there hasn't been an update or something in a while to honesty idea behind this is actually really good I think wizards 101 needs a few more things sort of like this cuz I've always found it hard to get coins getting stuff I may need

PLEASE UPDATE FOR NEWER DEVICES. Have to use a pre-2019 phone but the app works like it should on it.... come on how hard can it be to make it run on newer ones... just cheat and give it a compatibility layer to make it think it's pre-android-8

after years of using this... it decided to stop working suddenly? super upset. im hoping they update it too and ideally add a variety of games to it instead of just tower defense. id love if we could play all the ingame pet games in this app, for now: ( 1/5 ) until fixed
