App is horrible. It loads way too slow and causes me to miss offers because they disappear before I can accept them. Missing the offers causes me to not get the guaranteed pay for working scheduled shifts. It also freezes and crashes and causes google maps to freeze and crash. Besides all that, the app promotes unsafe driving. Offers come in while I'm driving, forcing me to try and concentrate on driving while trying to accept the offer before it disappears. That is highly dangerous.

Not a bad app, but it has an annoying habit of signing me out for no reason, usually once per day, sometimes even more than once, which always generates a sound/vibration and a push notification that will not go away until I log back in, or disable notifications for the app (making it much harder to know when I get orders). It's extremely irksome and I hope you fix it soon. EDIT: Forgot I wrote this. Seems to be mostly functional now.

This app doesn't operate properly. It will not allow me to call a Customer about their respective orders. I can only reach them by texting. The "cowbell" doesn't sound off. In addition, sometimes an order will appear and disappear just as soon as the notification banner lights up. Update: NOTHING has changed. It seems to have gotten worse.

The app signs you out sometimes when you're driving to the delivery, creating a dangerous situation forcing you to use your phone while driving. Also the new reassignment bot is super annoying, if you happen to momentarily lose phone service your delivery will be reassigned, even after you arrive at the restaurant. 5 years ago this app worked more efficiently than it is now.

That cowbell noise is so irritating. I even turned sound off to my phone and it still comes through. I wish there was a more pleasant notification sound or when I silence it, it is actually silenced and just pops up or buzzes instead when I get an order. Also, your delivery distances are insane, especially for the amount of money offered. The only thing I really like about this app is the free, instant cashout to my Chase account.

This app used to be better before the upgrade. Its difficult to navigate thru locating the restaurant and customer. Having to go through multiple settings to get the right info. Not fair of giving someone two orders in the same restaurant location - you have to pick one up then drop off then have to go back to the restaurant, lots of back and forth and sometimes its not even worth the drive. Now the hot spot map doesn't even do anything. Please fix this to be user friendly again.

The latest update to the app made it awful to use. It is a horrible experience. Too many toggling between screens just to do and see the same thing as the older version. Home page with the heat map doesn't even work. The navigate button doesn't auto connect to GPS apps like before. These are just some of the things wrong. Not effective or efficient at all.

This app is barely workable while driving. Not clean to use whatsoever. It doesn't allow you to set it to draw over other apps so you have to take your eyes off the road, open up the app hit the view button and if you decline an order you also have to proceed through a few steps.. again, while driving. It doesn't give you any upfront location except for on the map which is hard to see. Very outdated. Definitely room for improvement.

This app keeps getting worse. I like the job, but the app constantly notifies you to head to the destination when you are heading to the destination. All, because their double pickup algorithms are incorrect. Don't punish drivers who work all week for your faulty app. If you can't fix the algorithm give us the option to only have one order at a time. That way we don't have to choose between poor acceptance scores or incorrect account violations. Especially, when there is no true driver support.

I constantly don't get offer notifications. All my settings are correct and I've reinstalled. Also the notification when an order status has been updated is pointless. It's just another reason to look at the phone when driving that's dangerous. They serve no purpose. And the old general UI was better before. It takes more clicks now to open navigation and mark arrived. Fix your app!!!!

I am having to switch phones because my Galaxy S21 Ultra just shows a black screen whenever I accept an offer. It's been like this for months but before a few days ago I could usually just click it again and have it work. After the latest update it only ever shows a black screen when trying to view an offer. Really hope they fix it because that's a major issue on an app that people are using while driving. Super unsafe.

With every update there seems to be new issues that I am noticing. First and Foremost, "Hot Spots" for some reason are not showing up on the map. I have noticed this since the latest update. Second, I have noticed that after you "Forced to Stop" the app; it does show that its stopped. Then when I go back to settings I see that app is no longer "Stopped" and is turned back on. The app itself is closed out so this shouldn't happen. My other apps are not having this issue. Please look into this!

The new interface is a huge downgrade and makes you do twice the amount of in-app navigation as the previous version. I had my phone in my hand and felt the vibration of an order coming in (just to reference the timeframe) unlocked my phone and hit accept, then it said the order was timed out. From the time the order came in to me hitting accept, 3 seconds had passed. This app is complete garbage. Ps. It might also be helpful if you fixed the app so it rings when an order comes in.

The new update is very time consuming. You have placed our tasks at the bottom of the screen causing us to swipe up and tap navigate instead of just getting the order and it pops up on the screen. I don't know about other drivers but I get the message "you're almost there. You accepted an order......" All the time. Well I guess as long as it takes to navigate the app now I'll be getting them more often. You guys at GrubHub who never did an order EVER, read the reviews and change the app back.

This app needs work. It would work better if the map and emails and phone were inside the app. I have lost orders from being on the phone or texting with a customer then having to get out of the text or phone call then open the app to get the order, the same goes with the map. This is a driver's app I feel it could be more efficient.

The app has literally caused me to be physically and mentally exhausted not knowing it was the app. I spent a week at ATT doing system restores being told maybe I needed a new phone. All this time, for nothing and restoring my phone two times and time lost not working. Driving, being scared when the screen freezes and trying to navigate on the highway. My heart racing up and down every time the phone glitches. This seems intentional.

Recently, it absolutely sucks. I get no offers even if I have my availability on for 5 hours! I finally figured out when I have double orders, I do not have to drop the first one off to go to the next restaurant so that's cool, but the app went so downhill. It's so complicated to use especially while driving. Please fix the offers though. I haven't worked in a week because the app does not respond!! I'm in the busiest areas of chicago so I know it's not the lack of orders...

Please fix this mess!!!! This app was fine until I was promoted to update. Now my heat map doesn't show hot spots nor does the navigation button connect to my maps anymore. Driver tech support told me to do everything that I already did before I even reached them so they were not helpful. Makes it difficult to earn money if you can't see where the hot spots are.

I updated the app again. I did that a couple of weeks ago and it sucked, then it seemed to resort back to a previous version for a bit. After a week of an update now banner covering the app, I updated again. Once again, the hotspot map on the tasks page doesn't work. The one under account does. I also missed the first order with a half a ring and no time to accept. Another missed order to count against me. The update sucks and the driver order gear part still won't recognize my browser app.

The app is not user friendly at all. There are to many steps to and swipes to pick up and drop off orders. Very confusing and time consuming. Plus you have no idea where you are delivering to before you accept. You should allow the driver to zoom in on the map before accepting the orders so they know exactly where they are going. Please fix this to show the restuarant, the customers address and allow zoom in option on map when offering a delivery to the drivers.

App consistently freezes. There's an issue with the navigation option. It will always go directly to Google maps instead of Waze doesn't give you the option to pick . I have Uninstallerd and reinstalled the app several times. In addition, the orders are not consistent. Continued 3/29/2022: The app GPS is still not working. When you press navigate, it's not connecting to GPS services Waze or Google maps now. ALSO, Grubhub doesn't send orders to the restaurant until you arrive.

Before today, I would give it five stars. The app updated sometime last night or this morning, so this is my first time using the new update. As soon as I switched to accepting deliveries, I got a delivery. I couldn't click on it because the app froze and crashed on me. So I missed that delivery, then I had two more deliveries later on that I "missed" because the app kept freezing on me and crashing. I hope they fix this bug really quick. Those negatively affected by driver rating.

They changed the user Interface and how you view your tasks and it's awful compared to the old way. This update just made the entire app horrible to maneuver through. 1 click gave you the info you needed now I have multiple buttons to click and if you press back you exit the app. Atrocious. Also, at times I accept an offer and it doesn't come up on my tasks and shows I "missed" it. You guys just don't like your "employees" do you? Low offers for work provided and a difficult app. Good job.

Every time we do an update I have a lot of trouble with the app. Last week they totally changed the app and now you have to go through all these bells and whistles to get to what used to be a smooth operating app. Click on this to get to more options and click on that to get to this that were so easy before! If it ain't broke don't fix it or try to improve it just leave it alone! 🤦‍♀️😁

Had a lot of trouble with getting registered and started making deliveries. But finally, after nearly 2 years I'm working with GrubHub. I really liked their last update which they just changed back to the original format recently, but the update seemed to be more fluid and worked better with false touches. Having the large navigation button made it a lot easier to keep from making mistakes when tapping, which when driving it should be as easy as possible to tap what you want without mistakes

I'm giving this app a 3 star rating because the constant spam of telling me to drive is annoying. Stop trying to force drivers to drive 24/7. I'm just using this app to drive when I don't work because my hours been cut. I already turned off notifications too but they still sending. Also one delivery I couldn't make and tried to cancel but they wanted me to make phone calls to cancel, why isn't there a cancel button if you can't make it? That's not my fault.

App crashes when you're in navigation mode it doesn't want to go back to the order and also this new upgrade sucks you can't even tell where you're delivering unless you press a couple extra spaces on on your phone which is very distracted driving and is not appreciated by drivers. Since My Last Review: today, 5.6.22, app functions more reliably but drivers still cannot tell where delivery is unless they poke around in app. GrubHub gives BEST DRIVER SUPPORT, but like 2 know exact delivery place.

I like the 'map delivery route' feature, it seems harder to find since the last few updates. A way to save the receipt photo without having to press 'got order' at restaurants where I have to pay would be nice. It would be nice if GrubHub had its own messaging system so that when communicating with customers I could see the name of who I'm talking to as it can be tricky with double orders. When I get an add on at a restaurant, it won't give me coordinates of one address without picking up both.

Thanks for reassigning my order while I was stuck in a traffic jam and didn't "check in" on the app with my location. It's not my fault your app is trash and not capable of tracking my location after I hit navigate and use Google maps to drive to the destination. Maybe you should make a better app. Oh wait, you barely pay us drivers anything I bet you don't pay your IT people enough either.

App used to be better. Ive been driving several years. They have made it very complicated to see and complete orders. Also, this current version, any double, or add-on order seems to have trouble with the ability to be marked, leaving me to be on the phone with Driver Care-alot! THEY have to mark the orders for me...
