Great app! My first stop when looking for a phone. Great search features. Detailed specs and fantastic filter options make this app a must-have if you're looking for a new device! ---- FEEDBACK: please add "Android One" as an OS choice, and give us the option to have the "show XXXX phones" button on the phone finder always visible so we don't have to repetitively scroll up/down to see how many results there are. Fix those and you'll get 5 stars from me!
This app is good but not perfect. There is built-in dark mode can be used for saving power. It is ad-free. But, it is somehow slower than opening the site from internet. There is no way to open side menu when there is back button on top. In addition, font editing options could be more customizable.
Bad. When I click a notification nothing shows up. When I use the phone finder you need to keep your finger on the slider widgets otherwise the page scrolls. The web page is better. Also on phone finder it's easy to accidentally refresh the view and then all the options are reset.
Fine tuning the notifications you end up getting out of this app can take a bit, but I do still love this app. Tons of phone news and content... I love how it automatically knows what phone you're on and puts a shortcut to its spec sheet right in the main menu. How cool is that?! I used GSMArena a lot when I was researching getting a new phone; they're an invaluable, trustworthy source.
Awesome app. The dark mode was a great move. The content is crisp and provides accurate updates/news. Phone specs, comparison and finder are very handy. Suggestions: 1. A feature to like an article/flag for future reference will be useful. 2. When introducing a new feature such as dark mode, maybe give a popup when app opens after the update. This is a really useful feature, but one wouldn't get to know about it unless they went to the settings or see your article on that.
Loved it.. Everything is perfect but 1 thing worries me and I didn't like it. It creates several tabs in recent menu with every options i click in app. For example - if i go to phones > brands > apple, it automatically creates 3 tabs in recent menu which is absolutely annoying and not needed at all. Hope you people fix it ASAP.
Lovely! Awesome to have an app for one of my favorite tech news sites. Also perfectly replaces the Phone Genie app for me. Good start. However, please implement the following and it'll be perfect: 1.) Allow us share article links right from the home page (I share and queue hundreds of articles to my TextToSpeech reader) 2.) Allow us zoom in the images in articles 3.) Make it big screen/DeX mode friendly, with option to switch to the website's desktop mode (would be best if it detects and does this automatically when in DeX mode, with a manual toggle if the user manually wants it at any moment) 4.) Finally, please consider replacing your outdated and discussion-hampering comment section with Disqus. No need to abandon your site logins (if you really wanna keep them), look at what ZDNet did with their comments section. Thanks.
The website is honestly better, the app is more limited in functionality and feels like it either needs to add on more features from the site or new ones entirely. For example advanced search either isn't available or just very hard to find and etc.
Would be great if it were up to date. Searching some phones via the browser Y yielded results, but those same phones were not found using the app. I can't remember any examples off hand, but it was enough for me to uninstall the app.
Awesome app. Found a new bug. The new 3D render feature isn't working well inside the app. The phone appears but I can't barely spin it in any way. Spinning it upside/down also ended up scrolling the whole page.
Light theme has grey status bar and dark theme has it black, doesn't really look good. You can't scroll on the images when reading the article. App is kinda slow, irresponsive. Side nav menu is really gotta go with Android 10's gestures. Need separate tag (My topics) for 'flashback' articles, they're cool
Great app. Given my phone is old and finerky around browsers this is stable and quicker than the browsers. Please Just make the app single thread and close out last opened pages so that every opened page isn't new window. Other than that go to place for tech!!!
I like the app. There is one issue that is very annoying. If an article has a photo especially multiple photos that can be scrolled horizontally there is no way to scroll vertically. You need to tap on text so you can scroll the page.
I love GSMArena, the go to for everything technology. The app was great, until the recent update broke the option to view images on reviews, such as sample camera photos of reviewed phones & screenshots of the UI. Kindly fix it.
I prefer the app to the webpage on mobile, but I am thoroughly confused why the app constantly wants to exit to device home screen when using the device back/previous navigation buttons forcing you to use the back arrow for the app, which some times does the same thing. Very frustrating.
I love this app, one of the best I have on my phone, and I highly recommend it to the one who loves technology like me, I love it too much. Now, what if I'd like you to optimize, would be That as you use "phone finder" Details like the one that the keyboard does not appear when I am selecting a section, and I would also like that as I select a section, I wish I didn't have to go down or up to see how many devices have been filtered with the option I selected. Other than that, I love this app.♥️
This is very poor application. It has all the information about phones but user interface is very poor. When you select from drop down it automatically refreshes the page. I have to be very carefull while going up and down. Also, there is one suggestion realted to Chipset. Please just let public choose only vendor of chipset like Snapdragon, mediatec Exynos etc. Why you guys are giving versions. Do you think version of chipset is what public need. I am not able to find all phones wit
I get notices on the latest tech and if I am confused about specifications on devices I can just look for the device. Although it does not do computers, but that is fine with me. I get news about things before my friends do and I alert them about the news.
New website update broke compare phones screen on mobile webpage and app page. The amount of ads added inbetween phone characteristics is also disturbing. Unfortunately neither the app nor the website is user friendly. I will have to switch to another website and uninstall this app
App is very good & user-friendly Only one thing I have noticed for me is that Please Text Size in Normal mode is comparatively small & it is very difficult while reading. So if increase little text size in Normal mode it will be wonderful experience & feel stress less while reading
App is same as the site that is pretty awesome. But it lacks some particulars about phones i.e some details are missing about some phones which is not really fun.Complete information about a phone is much preferred than incomplete one.E.g many a times the endurance rating and the charging engine is missing. Also how long it takes to complete and small charge. We really prefer knowing about the battery and battery timing of a phone before buying it.Since it's one of the most imp things about a phon
Incredibly useful app....when it works properly, it knows to complete slow down like my internet connection is terrible, but it definitely is down to the app because I can easily switch to any game and have minimal ping, other then that it's a great app.
What exactly is this app good for besides getting notifications? You can't upvote comments and you can't download pictures through it. It is worse than the website. Final straw was the hyping up of Windows 11. You guys were supposed to be better than that.
The app has been very helpful for everything but this past week the app never seems to work. It's always showing the loading sign for almost 2 minutes. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it but it doesn't solve the problem. Please help
The app is great and I'm enjoying the experience learning about the latest and greatest ph i nes but I only have one thing in not a fan of... I wish there was an easy/apparent way to access the Rumor Mill, it's the same with the mobile internet version, but aside of those minor details, it's very well put together and thoughtfully designed
The application is functional, nice, handy, fun. You can learn a lot from it, provided you like the topics. Being so wide in scope, it has a lot of room for improvement. At least most of my complaints are about minor glitches and aesthetics.
Its not good, its better to enter it using the browser ... you need to edit the app, that we can open more than one pages, also the pages i opened suppose to be saved, so i dont need to downloaded again ... or why should i download the app, if it just work like browser
The best app for mobile search and comparison. Section "phone finder" needs fixes and improvements: - The list items of the Selects have no background color, they look broken. - If you accidentally scroll drag on the top of the page, page refreshes and you lose your filters. - You can not save a set of filters. - You can't search for multiple free text. For example "Galileo" and "aptx" bluetooth. - You could have a "coverage" select that will set the bands for a country. (2G, 3G, 4G, etc)
