GTE Cards

Was good now broke. 3/13/22 I didn't get a notification after grocery shopping. Looked for the app and it was no longer on the home screen. Put it back on the home screen and it doesn't load. I then reloaded it from the play store and it still doesn't load. I have Samsung Galaxy J3 with android 8. What did the developers do to break the app?

This app worked wonderful until I upgraded my phone to Samsung S22 Ultra. It will not work once I installed it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. And once installed it goes no where. I use this app, especially the alerts, all the time. Please advise when this can be fixed.

Here we go again This app must be a serious mess for it to break down so often. The Login/Signin security feature is broken. Cannot log in, even after all the tical failsafe mechanisms have be utilized as been given before.

Installed and Un-installed 3 times. Will not connect to server. Problem with app connectivity has been resolved. Great app!

Had this app for a while. Suddenly stopped working. It's been a few weeks now. Samsung s21. I installed again after 2/16 per the GTE website and it still doesn't work. They need to fix this asap as I can't change the card limitations without the app.

This app crashes everytime I open it. I have restarted my phone as well as uninstalled and reinstalled and it still doesn't work. The concept is great but the app is terrible. I can't even log in.

Have had the app for a while now. All of a sudden it just stopped recognizing my password. All the other GTE Apps have no problem signing on, except GTE Cards will not let me log in. This issue needs to be addressed asap.

Love this app. It's nice having complete control of how much can be taken out per transaction. I have had my card compromised in the past and this would have been great to have at that time. I wouldn't have had my account depleted and the need to find other means until the loss was replenished. And the instant notice of transactions is a plus.

Only had this app for 2 weeks and I enjoy it very much. I just recently went through identity theft and caused me much unnecessary grief. I enjoy the idea I can instantly control every one of my debit cards. I can tune them on instantly to do what I have to do, and once the transaction goes into pending I can immediately shut it off. Very nice feature GTE. Thank you so much for trying hard to care for your customers. We all appreciate you.

App needs to be updated to run on Android 12. Also, this is for anyone that is wondering how to turn on their cards, you can use the GTE mobile app, click on your account, click on cards, and you should be able to turn it off and on from there.

This app was working fine until couple weeks ago. It started crashing and not working. It doesn't even let me log in. Fix it please...

It's always been glitchy and now it keeps force closing. No I have a card locked and. Can't unlock it to use. Gee thanks

Works on my son's iPhone but not on my android. Says "can't connect to server". This started when they updated the app. I have uninstalled , reinstalled cleared data, cache etc. Nothing works and customer service isn't helpful, they don't know how to resolve it.

Unable to log in after resetting my password twice.

Love this app, I have alerts turned on EVERY time one of my cards is used. I usually use it to keep my spending in check (because I have to see it on my phone in notifications after I've spent it, works for me) but bc of this feature I immediately saw when there was a fraudulent charge and was able to turn off my card quickly. I contacted GTE and they sent me a new card and it was at my door in 3 days! Worth it!

It doesn't work anymore can't even log in, starts loading and crashes/closes.

Worked fine for a while, saw a message today to update it because of 2/10 release, reinstalled new release and now i cannot log in.

This app worked great until I upgraded to Android 12 on my Galaxy s22 Ultra. This definitely needs an update.

After the app updated I stopped receiving notifications of transactions. I'm currently on Android 11.

Latest update never connects to GTE constantly says Server could not be reached. This is on a phone with Android 11,and a tablet with Android 9 on wifi the app installed and I was able to activate it for my primary card with zero problems. Haven't had it long enough to know how well it works.

they forced me to download this app to be able to get notifications for credit card use. Now I can't even use the app because it keeps telling me I have to turn on the options and play protect. The options are already on and it does not matter this app will not open.

Samsung21. Does not work. Starts loading then just goes back to page.

This app went from hero to zero. It just doesn't load.

This app crashed every time I used junk why to have an app you can't use waste of time

I love getting notified every single time my card is swiped just in case. there's a couple of times when my card was compromised and I was able to turn it off ;I love that feature as well.

Update 1/24/21 What is the point of this app if you can't pay. Do you not want to be able to accept payments? Brand new and still can't transfer from an external account. They are consistently behind the time with other banks software and ease of use.

I like the old app better, I cannot install this one on my phone, I don't have an IPhone. GTE should have considered this when they were setting up this app, not a happy camper, since I have been a customer since 1999, should have had more consideration for older customers, thank you for not.

New app doesn't connect to your servers, hiring a team of programmers that know what they are doing, don't release garbage that is not ready

App continuously crashes on trying to open, been that way for almost a month. Unable to montier my credit cards because of this. Will change rating when fixed.
