GTL - Internet Visits (2 of 2)

Install the other app first and foremost. That is the app you'll launch from your phone. This app simply adds the video visitation feature to the scheduling app. If you start your visit and only see black, but can hear the inmate, disconnect or close the app and re-open it. Use earbuds in the headphone jack (or bluetooth ones) with a microphone. Even then there will be an echo on your end, where you hear your own words repeated to yourself, hence the 4 of 5 star rating.

I have had nothing but problems with thus app. I've been cut off with 49 of 50 mins remaining ($20 visit) & can't get reconnected at all. I have emailed when this has happened and never have got a reply back. I have been double charged also. Once when I make the visit, & then again when the visit is over. These visits are expensive anyway and it's even worse to be charged (twice) for something your not even receiving.

Quite possibly THE worst app ever. It says video chat but should actually say it's a suggestion because if you happen to even be able to establish video, the quality is horrible, extremely pixalated, goes from black screen to pixels to semi descent and back to black. If the video happens to be descent quality then your audio won't work. I just spent 10mins with nothing but screeching sound and had to end the call with 10mins remaining. The only thing this app is good for is taking payment.

This app worked ONE time when I first used it. Now every time I use it to video visit my brother, I can see and hear him, but he can't hear me anymore, and he said the picture is very pixelated. And for yal to charge $12 for 25 minutes is a total rip off!! Its not my signal either, as I have a signal booster in my house and never have problems with any other apps or signal issues. AND WHO DO I TALK TO TO GET A REFUND?? PLEASE FIX ASAP!

Absolutely Hate It, I still haven't been able to have a visit. It always says that my microphone & camera are off when they are on. Please hurry & let us use Apple products. We're not rich. We only have 1 android device & I don't like it either. Please fix these issues so we can see our loved one that's 8 hours away from us.

Awful! My loved one try to video and it constantly drops our convo. He can't see me. I'm pixilated. He's always in slow motion, and his words take forever to catch up with what he's saying. I can't understand him, because our convo constantly is so jumbled. I'm unstalling the apps and trying again. I have no choice. 😒

T E R R I B L E !! If I could rate 0 stars, it would be a -3!! Picture quality is bad, but the MAIN ISSUE is the ECHOING!! It literally sounds like I'm standing on a mountain top screaming, and hear myself echo back 4-5 times! 😤 I can't even hear myself thinking to speak a full sentence! And thats with earbuds in! The camera on my end is very weird.. Overall, It's VERY FRUSTRATING for both ends. Also, I can barely hear the person im trying to talk to &he can barely hear me.

I enjoy this app think that its the best way of communication with family member that are away and out of reach if it didn't have system problems once you get past the downloading of it . I had gotten so excited then the damn system didn't allow use to hear one another or they wasn't there present for the visit, so far as being able to hear them or even seeing them through the visit I have lose so much money on this they really need to update system so the best way yet of communicating with love one truly can be a good idea. But compared to the collect calling I would still give this a 4 rating cause it hasn't be as much money lost as that system is so please can we find away to fix issues with connection and refunding.

EDIT-MY last visit was almost the same but then she showed up and the timer was added to. Full visit! Thank you! FAIR WARNING to anyone having a internet visit. If everything goes well and works and you are on time you view a black screen with a picture in picture much smaller of your face and a 15 minute timer starts counting down. At the end of that timer the screen lights up and the video call begins Mine started a 10 minute timer with a great picture of the visitation spot where

The system doesnt work. It needs to be fixed. The only thing that works is excepting peoples money and that's not fair. It never connects to let the officers check the visitor in. Just a black screen and every 2-3mins a error messsage. Then it runs the actual visit without connection. This is a very trying time. Tomorrow isn't promised so fix the issue and let people see their loved ones.

Out of about 20 visits and who knows how much money. I have only had 2 full visits and maybe 2 with only a little bit of freezing or breaking up. Usually I have to log off, close the app, restart, then login. and by that time it's been 2 mins out of the 10 or occasional 20 mins i get to visit my loved 1 And even so I usually can see him but he cant see me or we cant hear eachother ... ugh. It's so annoying. I wonder why we dont get compensated with visits. Since time and $$$$ is being lost.

Can't schedule visit. Not able to pull up inmate under new booking number, only under old booking numberVideo and audio are awful. Rarely can see or hear clearly. Works great until visit starts

Was fine then gradually he couldn't hear me and he would have to go out and come back in and it might be ok for few minutes or less then starts doing it again- so in reality a 10 min visit you can only talk about 2 or 3 minutes of it- very frustrating and this has been going on for 6 months now- this app needs to be looked at or upgraded

The times Ive used this to talk to a loved one there is always issues. Sometimes screen would go black and have had to log off and back on. On one call had to log off and on 4 seperate times in the 15 minute call time. So it took away from the call visit time.

This app needs to be updated! Its not compatible with ios and atleast half of the world if not more, is walking around with iphones. Lags at times, and audio goes in and out or sounds distorted! Please make this compatible with ios!

Doesn't work unless I'm doing some thing wrong, I've unstalled it then install. Still can't get a video visit from inmate in Colorado, very frustrated can't find help with this issue, not even with the developer.ugh

First time using it it sucked don't even know if it's worth it for the first time. I couldn't see nothing had a blank screen and it echoes really bad. But I guess on the positive note he was able to see me and hear me some what. Don't know if I will use this again thank God I did not pay for it was a free call. Hopefully they can fix it and give you some kind of answer why your end doesn't work. I will give it one more try if it doesn't work well then it is what it is and they need to update

This app is not user friendly, nor is it easy to navigate, I would prefer to have to walk 3 miles than to try and schedule a visit with this app is the worst thing I've ever tried to use. If I could give negative stars I would it should not be such a hassle to schedule a visit. Part 1 of this app doesn't have the county I need. Thank you for doin nothing but, wasting 45 minutes of my time never again!!! and I don't like that I had to give it a star it doesn't work.

I'm not sure what has changed, but, ever since October I haven't been able to have one visit! I keep getting a message saying to contact visit support and when I do they tell me nothing was wrong! Whatever it is, it's horrible I haven't been able to see my fiancé since he went this time! I'd give 0 stars if I could!!!

I had a visit last week on Tuesday it worked okay ..today i had another one and i missed the visit because it kept popping up with an error to call support on the app on my phone. It says to use a certain version but im pretty sure its still the 1.7.32 verson i believe its called. I hope i dont miss my next visit on Friday because of this app. Im very disappointed.

This app is a absolute nightmare! There's no need for me to say anything else, but read all of the comments after this one because each and everything has happened to me trying to video visit with my fiance. This app and the equipment are a joke!

Audio was non existent! And it was not my device or earphones, as I tried several! Picture was not clear and kept breaking up or appearing blurry! Yet I had to pay for the service none the less!

I can't even get the app to show me the camera button. I called customer support after the first time. Conveniently they close an hour before visitation hours happen so I can't even ask for help if I could. This is my second attempt to contact and it won't get me past the schedule to video anything :-(

the app works cool but once I updated my phone it keeps crashing u can't open it I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still keeps crashing very disappointed this is the only way I can c my significant other and now I dont kno what to do.
