Very easy to use app. I have a problem with the app display. It is not optimized to full screen resolution on larger displays like Samsung note 10+ kindly check in you new update to optimize the screen size to full screen.
I noticed that I get the error of communicating with host when I used my email address to activate the app. I switched to using my banking ID and it worked well. I suppose most people are probably using their email addresses hence this error. Considering it's easier to remember email address than some random number, I'll appeal to the developers to work on fixing that aspect. This is why I give 4 instead of 5. Apart from that, the app is fantastic and has served me well.
A great app, the app works perfectly until last month (March 2022), I wasn't able to move funds from my account to my mobile account and this month (April 2022) same issue, developers please fix it.
Keep getting the feedback service unavailable whilst transferring cash.
Great app! But my device (google pixel 4xl) only has face unlock, and if that worked it will be perfect.
I did transfer to my account for almost 7 days and the money has not been deposited into my account and i tried calling but no response and send email as well to no avail, how can an international bank faustrate customers in such a manner, very painful. If there were any rating less than 1 star, i would have given that because you people don't deserve 1 star
I love gtbank and this app, you can do everything within seconds and it's user friendly, I would have given 5 stars but there is a little work to do on the transaction feedback, it will tell you transaction failed meanwhile the transaction was successful and end up making double transaction and also please try to add investment to the menu at least treasure bill will be OK. Until these things are corrected, it's 4 stars for now.
This app needs to be redone. Too many bugs and a poorly structured user interface. The user experience is a frustrating experience. Passwords errors and an overall confusing debacle with the OTP. App doesn't deserve anything better than 1 star.
the app is just not working well. Trying to transfer to other bank and its not going. Tried to complain, it keeps giving error message. The Nigeria version of the app works flawlessly. This one is just like they didn't put much thought into it. Dissatisfied customer
After deciding to download the app to give a second try, i would say its unfortunate to receive such feedback from interacting with the app. There is no simple way to sign up. I think GT bank, the tech giant in banking would needs to rectify the issues to make the app friendly to bank customers. i look forward to more improvements.
Whether I use my registered email or numerical ID to attempt login, non will be accepted. Attempting to reset my password via the 'forgotten password' link only shows a grey-ish screen with a circular timer that just spins endlessly. I am however able to access the online facility via the GT bank website, which leads me to believe the app is faulty. Please address whatever fault is causing the issues. Thank you.
With the new redesigned app for GTBANK Ghana is a plus for me as compare to the old one. However, in other to get 5stars I will like the developer work on the mobile money transaction. After the transaction it tells you "communication error with the host." Meanwhile the transaction has been sent already. This lead to paying or sending money multiple times and it is dangerous. We are talking about money here!!! Please work on that. Thanks.
Ever since I downloaded it, I haven't been able to log in. It keeps saying 'Error communicating with host'. It looks like many other customers have raised this issue but you don't seem to be intent on fixing it🤦🏾♂️
This app is so not reliable. I did a transfer from bank wallet to mobile money wallet and after close to 30 minutes the money has still not reflected in my account. This is very very unfortunate as this app is meant to be reliable enough to make people lives easier but apparently this is not the case. I am deeply saddened and infuriated by this incident. I would not encourage anybody to use this app. In fact i would strongly advise anybody to cease operating this app.
Please i don't have an account and i want to sign up. But there is no option which shows to create account.
The app usability is friendly and very easy to navigate. The encryption is very secure when making transfers. I think GT bank is onto something great here. Transaction detail, bank statement among others are just a click away! Great job!
It's a nice app, the new UI is beautiful but the button to activate a transaction after inputting the details is missing. This happened after the latest update.
Had a good app from the old one, I decided to update and now it doesn't allow for payment. When I input the figures it doesn't show, "pay". Your reps in Ghana telling me to delete this one and get the old one. Also impossible. Frustrating!!!
Momo Transfer recipients are saved automatically and you can't delete them later. The functionality to give "customer feedback" doesn't work. Been like this for a very long time.
App is Trash... Downloading for the first time and there's no where to sign up... Just the login page with password... You guys really have to up your services... Opened an account with Access Bank and their app is perfect!

The app has grown to be better, but it's options continue to be narrow. It should allow you to perform transactions such as those on *737# like treasury bills, investment payments among others.
Perfect app. i understand why people are rating this down. What you have to know is that you must request for internet banking from the Bank before you can use this. you don't expect the bank to loose their security this way. it's a nice app. I have using it for so long.
The app is unusable. Why won't u test an app before sending it here? How do u login something u haven't signed up. No option to sign up. Again most services are frozen. Full of incorrect error messages. Looks like GTbank is joking.
Old app was fine. This update is the most useless app on my phone. Can't carry out any transaction cos there's no button to continue once you input details. Did anyone actually test the app?
I am not able to use this after reinstalling it. I visited the bank for assistance but was told they were going to fix it within a day. After the day, I sent an email to the bank but for about two weeks now, it has not been fixed yet.
I went to my branch to activate my internet banking, it works well on the website but about two months now since activating, the app has never ever open, everyday, Error occured while communicating with host, the app is poorly poor, compare to Access Bank app, theirs works perfectly, meanwhile GTbank is my first bank, but this app is soo poor, please work on it and stop saying sorry everyday.
I'm using my internet banking details to log in, but it still says error communicating with host. This needs to be resolved, cos seems this is a general problem. U can't log in.
Please consider improving this app to allow for deletion of saved beneficiaries for both Mobile Money and Bank beneficiaries. I no longer wish to have some beneficiaries but unable to delete for over 2 years now...Thanks
Very very bad, App no longer working ,momo section disable. At least there should be some feedback after messaging.
