DO NOT PURCHASE. I puchased several fobs for business staff in Nov 2018 and cannot get Android devices to sync with the fob. Their customer service has not responded to my multiple requests for help and now their website has been down for 2 weeks. Even today the app install attempts generate a "app unavailable" message. Scam
I had trouble setting it up they called back in a timely manner walk me through the setup that would allow the application to send out a call. She explained everything to me, I test it it worked perfectly as soon as I hit the help button the call came in. A lot better than when I paid $29 a month for that did not work when I had an emergency! I recommend this application strongly
Great app - very functional with or without the key fob thingy
Buyer beware. Do not use this as a protection application.I am a doctor. I have contacted the company on multiple occasions to ask for improvements and an investigation on the product not working. I was terminated has a client. I have documentation to prove the aforementioned.
Got a new phone. Doesn't work with all devices. Check on your phone before signing up
App works well and is very straightforward. Pairing with the remote was simple. Service works as described. The only slightly annoying thing is when you enable airplane mode, a pop-up comes up and requests to turn on Bluetooth. As seen on Shark Tank.

I had some initial setup issues, however, I received an email from the CEO himself!! He worked with me until everything was perfectly working, talking about great personal service. I recommend this service to everyone, especially people who walk alone a lot like college students and real estate agents. It's an inexpensive peace of mind. I do hope they continue to support Android as it holds a large market share but I haven't experienced many issues with this version.
Love the safety it provides
As a Realtor, this gives me a easy option to notify authorities if I ever feel I'm in danger. 5 stars for this. I'm knocking off 2 stars because of the app itself. The app requires Bluetooth remain on all the time on your phone. If you turn off Bluetooth you will constantly get a pop up notification that Guard Llama needs to turn on Bluetooth even though I'm not using the fob. It also stays in your notification bar, you can't get rid of it. I don't like either of these annoyances.
My husband got this for me and I love it. Hopefully I don't have to use it but it's easy to test and the remote feels very sleek in my hand. I'm more confident everywhere I go.

The app crashes continuously! I have been trying to cancel my account for months. It would never work in an emergency because it is unusable.
