Don't buy into this. Worst security system I've ever used. Same price as ADT. Defective sensors and cheap doorbell camera. I'm stuck with the 3 year contract. Definitely switching to a better company. DON'T GET A COMPANY WITH A LONG CONTRACT. The app freezes sometimes and need to refresh the app manually sometimes. Had their service for less than a year and they want to charge us $60 co pay to come out for a defective motion sensor. Unless we have a ghost in the house. I'm not paying that. SMH

1) The app is not compatible with my garage door opener. 2) The video library stores videos from 6 months ago, it is never current. 3) I am always getting email notifications that the video library is full when the app should write-over the older videos. 4) The locked/unlocked status of front door is inaccurate. Sometimes the locked door will show an unlocked status and vice versa.

I so dont recommend thay service! The cameras are so laggy and always lose connection and stop working. And the mobile app always crashed and never works.

I've had Guardian for 5 years now never had an issues with billing or their equipment, except for the occasional updates on cameras. We burnt our dinner one time and I set off the smoke alarms when guardian called they ordered pizza for the whole family on them. In August of last year 2021 my whole family was out for covid for 3 weeks, they worked with us on billing and also sent us a get well card. I see a lot of bad reviews for them and I don't understand I have nothing but good things to say.

Update, camera, service When You updated the app now ask to go through router instead of going directly to the camera like before I have a thousand gigs of Internet and my upload & download speeds are 600 MB you guys have been out multiple times to check this in this stinking camera still won't stay connected and we have had our modem moved closer to the camera and you charge me $150 to come out every time to fix this when it only stays connected for a week and then disconnects and 450 to 🛑 👎

Connection to panel worked so well for a week or two and now it takes forever to arm and disarm even when I'm right next to it. It's not our internet either. Camera is slow to show me who is at door in real time and the connection to talk to someone is extremely delayed and I can barely hear the other person.

Never had to access the app to view my video clips. For about two weeks now everytime I click on the widget it takes me to the login page and not the video view. I use to be able to just tap my screen for the house views but that is totally messed up and are not working. May have something to do with the last update for the Galaxy widgets Also, Guardian charges you everytime they have to come fix something NEVER falls under maintence repair ( no charge ). So I get notifications, but cant view.

I love being able to arm/disarm remotely; it's so convenient! I also love having the ability to check our videos, "answer" the door remotely when the doorbell is rung, etc. However, it drives me nuts that our doorbell camera records every little thing, and it's on the lowest setting! Its eaten up our video space many times and I'm already over 50% for the month of February. I'd hate for something bad to happen and it not get recorded because our camera decided to record a leaf blowing by.

Awful awful service....cameras are never working. Easily jammed. If you get 1 to work 3 won't , then to 2 then other 2 won't. Every God damn day, every hour, and ever minute. Go anywhere else but here!!!!!!

I've had to reboot my system several times because the skybell doorbell keeps dropping connection. It's annoying and aggravating makes the doorbell system worthless. UPDATE: It appears that internet provider had a piece of equipment outside my home going bad. They just replaced. We'll see if this cures the problem.

App does what it's supposed to, BUT. The latest update ruined the widgets for Galaxy. Used to be able to tap any one of my scenes for my house (Disarm, Arm (Delay), Arm (No Delay), etc.) from a widget placed on my home screen. Never had to access the app. Now the widgets don't work after Version 4.10.3. Other then that, app works like it should.

No issues with app whatsoever. Those with issues pertaining to their cameras need to take into consideration the amount of bandwidth being used up by everyone being home. This isn't just a reflection of your home network, but the ISP in your area being overwhelmed by ALL those staying home. To avoid interruptions in video call your ISP and upgrade your internet tier. You can also help yourselves out my making sure they have the latest and greatest in tech in terms of the router they installed

Annoying nag screen added to the app prompting for 2-step verification for "added security". This is becoming more irritating on many online services and now in this app. Allow users to turn this off. All was fine until this intrusive screen was added - almost demanding this "feature" is mandatory or you will be nagged about it forever. Let ME choose the security and not be required to succumb to your demands. Thus the low rating.

When I first started out with guardian it was great however my video doesn't work anymore. I called technical support it only worked that night and after that it no longer works. I'm seeing feed back from guardian in other response being home and high usage doesn't have anything to do with it. I didn't work at home and my son was at school and I still had this problem. It need to be corrected

The doorbell camera does not work or load properly if someone rings the doorbell the app doesn't load until the person has walked away. Now it tells me try troubleshooting, have done it multiple times. Uninstalled the app/reconnect still won't load. Troubleshooted with rep multiple times, each time it will work for about 30 days and right back to saying trouble shoot. If this can't be fixed correctly I will discontinue the doorbell service and choose another vendor

Camera keeps disconnecting messaging saying video device not responding, tired of guardian., I have been with them for 6 years,I heard the war stories about guardian but since I had no problems it didn't bother me but today after months of the same issues with my camera I am done, I would advise anyone looking for a security system for their home. Guardian is not that company unless you don't mind paying 110 +25.00 per hour for a service tech to come out.

Easy to use! Being able to arm and disarm, view our cameras remotely, open and close the garage as well as operate our deadbolts is fantastic! Looking forward to adding thermostat and lighting controls with this as well. Adding or Sonos speakers within the scenes is a nice little touch.

When using the app to answer doorbell it just have a black screen and cycles. Have to close app multiple times before can answer. By this time the individual is gone. Also, the app stalls when request video for camera. I have had this system for 10 months. Same problems from day one. I'm over it.

Love Guardian and the app. I understand that if I change anything in my house (wifi password, router, move furniture, etc.) that it could affect things, but as long as I have a few minutes to spare, customer service is always able to help.

App rarely connects for you to see who's at your door. It lags 9 out of 10 times. Takes forever to request the stream even at home and then says to retry. What's the point of having a door bell camera if I can't see who's at my door geesh! Defeats the whole purpose. Will be searching for an alternative once my contract is up

This app could be great with a few modifications. I continually have issues with viewing my cameras. Sometimes it works good and most days there are issues, cameras are offline, buffering constantly, unable to view, etc. Please Fix these issues.

So far so good. I just don't like having to disarm it just to get up at night to go to the bathroom. Then to only re-arm it. I haven't been setting it at night for this reason due to getting up alot lattely. Is there a way to just dis-arm the motion sensor until i know i'm finally snuggled in till dawn? Update: This company is very great! The alarm is use. I feel safe at night.
