Guardian Quest - 8Bit RPG

I love classic styled JRPGs like this. But this one needs a little work. There should be more options for controls. Such as being able to pick a gamepad that works best for the player. As well as being able to change walk speeds. It is set to fast walking, which can be frustrating because the gamepad that is preset isn't that great. If these issues are fixed, I feel this game would be a lot more fun to play. But overall, it is fun for a DQ styled game. Just needs a little fine tuning.

This is a short, well-made RPG very much in the style of early Dragon Quest games. It is pretty awesome and fun, if you're into retro JRPGs. Also the menus let you drag equipment to the character that needs it ... a cool feature that functions quite well, like basically everything in the game.

This game reminds me of a identical game to this from years ago except this copy is really bad the adverts are in the way the player moves to fast the controls are in the middle of the screen covering almost half of the game I forgot the name of the original game but if I ever remember I'll be sure to let them know that you have stole there game and ruined it with your tweaks.

This is a very fun, simple old school RPG. It reminds me a lot of the classic Dragon Warrior games for the NES. It's pretty well balanced, though I will say the final boss is incredibly difficult. Being able to save at anytime anywhere is nice. All around this is a great game

Fun game if not for the glitches. I was at the final boss grinding out a few levels. Then at level 27 I learned meteor. I went to test out the spell, but it got removed. At level 28 I learned a revive all spell, but it too got taken out of my list of usable spells. If it weren't for the game removing those 2 spells, I more than likely would've beaten the game.

****** I figured out the answer to this glitch ****** Just use the magic spell teleport! You're welcome. I can't complete the game because after I obtain the blue orb then go back through the tunnel to get back to my ship there is a glitch that transports me to the first village, thereby making it impossible to get back to the ship.

I loved the potential of the game. But that is exactly it, a potential. The game hasn't been updated since 2017, which shows you how much they care. I deleted the game because of how unfriendly it is, ex. no world map, and how buggy it is. Really disappointed given the potential of the game.

Stuck? Read this! You have to sail the ship UNDERNEATH the bridge at the bottom of the map (to the right of the tower where you unlock Luna). There are 3 islands in the middle of the landmass that is only accessible by boat. One of those islands has a village, you'll have to find the narrow inlet and sail into the middle of the middle island. Then there is a tower on the island surrounding the 'town island', as well as an island where you can place the orbs.

If youre lookong for an old school rpg similar to the nes/snes era this is your game! so far the best Rpg ive played on mobile. -I found a bug where when I try to sell a winglet in Glissando the game crashes, the winglet was found in cave due east.

Worth the no ads price easily. There are a few bugs but all are manageable. A very nice throwback to a simpler era.

game crashes after going through the tunnel when you go back through tunnel end up in the first town and unable to talk to the old man again without the app closing. very disappointing.

Great game, brings me back to Dragon Quest series. Got a bit lost after getting blue orb, but figured it out after a bit of searching. Will play sequel, and again, great job!

The game crashes during the end sequence. Its really annoying. I defeated the end bosses 5 times now and haven't seen the entire ending.

Ads 95% cover the dialogue progression. Once past the initial dialogue, down arrow is 100% covered making it unplayable.

Im stuck near the end of the game. I cannot find the red orb or the legend sword. Its kinda upsetting seeing as im so close to the end.

A great representation of the old dg games, but I felt like the game felt stale at many points of the story and the dialouge really didn't have anything intresting.

if not for the sometimes unclear dialogue this would be a great "Dragon Quest" style rpg. as is, i leave it as still very good

Only rated graphics low cos they supposed to be. Only thing is I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing. I leave the village then run around the room killing demons til i die, He-He! 😁

One of the most buggiest games I have ever played. Kept crashing and the grammar is off too. Do not recommend...

good game, poor gramar makes it hard to understand what you need to do, bit does make for a lot of adventuring

The beginning is way too difficult. You get completely wiped out on the very first battle and there is nothing you can do about it.

direction moves too fast on my tablet with no way to slow the speed down, am uninstalling.
