The camera(s) seem to work and look great. But compared to the Arlo system as a whole, this is seriously flawed. There's always a lag in the app, and it shuts down a lot. I can't even review a video because the rewind/pause/play disappears and won't reappear without restarting the video. The motion sensor is slow and the video should not fade in when it wakes. it cuts off the video.

I've owned the cameras for about 2 years. With previous issues and now with the recent updates to the app the cameras don't connect, you can't save or delete video, the app freezes and kicks you out, auto arm function doesn't work, you can no longer see the wifi signal strength, you get motion alerts but no video saved, it doesn't detect motion... so on and so forth! It's just plain HORRIBLE now. I'm looking at buying a whole new system. Do Not Buy This Product! Spend your money on a better system!

Can't access recorded video. Event list shows arm/disarm events only, does not show any video clips. Thought I might need to subscribe, so I did. Wasted my money, still cannot see clips. At least I can see live view, sometimes, at least until the display freezes. This was a great system back when I first got the camera, now it's basically useless.

Bought this yesterday for my safety. App worked since I installed it, which was 6 hours ago. I just had a stranger's van park in my driveway, but guess what? It says "connecting to stream video" but it will not connect. So bottom line is, doesn't work when you most need it, DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY!!! The help button gives you nothing relevant, no troubleshooting (not that you want to troubleshoot on 1st day of use). And yes, I got the best high speed internet! So frustrated.

Constantly freezing, slow to load. Wouldn't recommend buying one of these cameras, but if you're downloading the app, it's probably too late for you! Also, by "bug fixes" in the update, it probably means they've done nothing. It's been this crappy for 2+ years. The only positive aspect of this app is that it doesn't have ads- probably because you're paying out the a$$ for way overpriced cameras and cloud storage. Just don't do it if you have other options. EDIT: NOW IT COMPLETELY DOESN'T WORK!

Unimpressed! I've purchased a subscription and now with two different phones, when the latest Android update happened, the app won't show me any video. I have followed instructions to try and get it working again and it is clearly something wrong with the app as I can take a snapshot and open the image in my phone's viewer and see the content but all I get in the app is a blank screen. When I arm, I am no longer getting notifications of movement. Waste of money 😠

A brown paper bag with a face drawn on would be better security. This is simply a pathetic product that feels a decade behind all others. It has a terrible, unusable app that freezes or just fails to load entirely. The cameras rarely connect to the Wi-Fi, and when they did, the picture is slow and choppy. I have a 1400 speed mesh network that connects to EVERYTHING with perfect strength... except this junk. Stick with Ring or another reliable product. 2020 UPDATE: The app no longer loads. Done

Not the same App. Looks completely different when I installed. Basically a lot of bugs and it doesn't work smoothly. It doesn't have WiFi settings in the app available to change. Very strange. It just doesn't work and I purchased two of these cameras and I can't return them because they're outta the two week return period at BestBuy.

If you're lucky enough to figure out how to set it up, it works pretty well as the installation instructions don't help nor does the generic email support. It took me a week to finally get 2 all-in-one cameras set up after reconfiguring every possible phone and app setting. Now that they work, hopefully they'll never have to be reinstalled. 🤞

I purchased this product 8 months ago after someone damaged by fence. The neighbors said they didn't see anything. Right off, there were issues. I was not receiving texts when motion was detected. We would be walking in front of the camera and still no notication. I sometimes would receive texts back to back to none for days/weeks at a time. I have constantly had to uninstall and re-install the app. I have canceled my subscription as of this morning. They will not cancel until the end of this month. I will be contacting the BBB.

This is coming from someone who rarely writes reviews. It's been over 12 months and I have not been able to view any video history!! No response from Guardzilla after multiple emails. Per their auto response, this is a known issue..it's frustrating how long it is taking to fix!! Cameras also randomly disconnect but it is not related to my internet. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Better hope there's no emergency because the app takes forever to open and doesn't work half the time. Does not pick up motion most of the time either. I've missed so much every time i go to open the camera by the time it opens i miss what I'm looking for. This app is getting worse and worse. what a waste of money. If you can still return your camera, do it.

This was easy to use and handy to have to watch my dogs but now it seems like if the camera ever gets disconnected (power outage, signal lose, new phone, etc.) it is nearly impossible to get it to connect to the wifi. the camera wont configure and when i finally get a solid green light the app freezes and i have to start over with no results. been trying to reconnect my cameras all weekend, still waiting for a response from support and based on other reviews ill be waiting a while. disappointed!

I went through all of the steps and got the camera connected with wifi and now when I try to view the camera no picture shows and it said there is a connection problem but the wifi is working on everything else, the only connection problem is the camera and company, it takes forever for them to reply with a response that never is actually a solution. Horrible, horrible experience. The app is limited, you can not even view what network you are connected to verify everything checks out.

Since the October 2018 updates, the only way to exit the app is to kill it in Android. Back button will not take you out of the app.....poor.....if you're looking for a security camera system. Look elsewhere. There are better options. This system consistently misses vehicles and people walking through the field of view or I get notifications but no recorded video.

Unreliable app. Subscription for 30 second videos but the camera only captures 13 seconds. Footage only has sound for about 3 seconds and it's in slow motion, so it's not actually even 13 seconds. Night vision is set to auto but doesn't consistently come on. my Guardzilla indoor camera wouldn't connect, contacted customer service and they said it was a firmware update failure and they would fix it if I paid for postage to send it to them. I have yet to hear back, FedEx said the address was bad

I've been using this app since 2016. Since your latest update, the app won't open at all. Crashes as soon as I tap on the icon. I've installed and installed and still can't open it. Would have been nice if Guardzilla had sent out an email to it's customers explaining there is an issue and they're working on it!

Oh I see my comment was deleted. Nice. Anyway, let me say again, this app was working fine until the recent update but now it's even worse. Half the options don't work, the camera management is messed up, no option to connect the sensor to motion detection, it just goes off. Now, I also deleted the camera to reconnect it and now it will not find it on the wifi, so this is ridiculous. I highly recommend literally any other product and will be returning this one. Usually updates make it better, but I see you all did not get the memo. Wishing I could do lower than a one star rating right now.

App crashes regularly. When my motion sensor goes off it downloads 2 sec video it then will not allow me to view or download. Most unreliable setup for security you will ever see. Hardware seems to work as advertised, but this is obsolete when the app that stores and uses this date doesn't work at all. Fix your software your sooooo close to a decent product!!

Just purchased guardzilla, set up when it got to push the button below for WiFi that was mine was not showing. I had to open my WiFi app to complete connect. I take this app as part of guardzilla, and I am not happy at all. Siren doesn't show on phone to set off, SD card installed not acknowledged by system. Terrible, I have a degree in electronics, and know my way around program's. Terrible. I have spent so much time to try and work with it, its not worth it. Notification started working added*

I had successfully used Guardzilla for years, but with recent updates, that is no longer the case. The app doesn't recognize my cameras anymore, and I have tried everything. They automatically bill me for storage, but I cannot contact them to cancel. They won't answer emails, and their chat system doesn't work. What kind of company does not provide a phone number for customer service? There are better cameras available at much better prices. If you are looking for a dependable security system, don't invest in Guardzilla. I am moving on.

Works well for a low-end security camera, however I keep recieving notifications on movement and when I go to check the log there is no recorded video to playback. This problem only started occuring for me after the last update and there is no new update to fix the glitch. It is very annoying that only 1/5 notifications I recieve are files that I can watch back, it defeats the purpose. Fix the glitch and it is a good product for it's price.

Company has announced it's closed and will no longer support its products. OUT OF BUSINESS! image will stop updating after a short while leaving the last frame frozen with no notification so it's difficult to see if the image is still live. Update: Lately several of the cameras require frequent power cycling or complete resetting to make them work which negates their use for unattended operation. Please use a better product.
