Decent game with standard picture and letter questions. The issue is that the layout makes it annoying when it's a long word split over 2 lines and is a little confusing. The bigger issue is that this is meant to be a Movies quiz, so it shouldn't include TV shows such as Game of Thrones, Big Bang Theory, Lost, House of Cards and Rick and Morty - all of which are questions in this game. Aside from those errors, it's a pretty straightforward game.
Very good and challenging game, with a good mix of popular and more obscure films. Personally I'm okay with films I haven't heard of being included; the game is trying to reach a wide level of players, and that's fine. Regarding the TV shows, if they are included it would be better to either have them bundled together in one or more groups, or labeled as a TV show in the puzzle. Since the game is called "Guess the Movie", I automatically think films when playing.
The layout of the blank spaces for the answers is completely disjointed and inconsistently arranged. TV shows are randomly thrown in, which normally wouldn't be a problem except this game is advertised as specifically focused on movies. The grammar used in the menus and the cut screens is flawed and hard to understand at times. I'm rating two stars for the eye-friendly color scheme and the quickness of the app. I've already deleted it, though. 🤷🏻♂️
It's a pretty good app for all ages and can be good to do as a family. You can lost in the game enjoying yourself, however when you hit one your completely stumped with and you no longer have coins to use hints, there may be a bit of frustration. But overall it's a good pass the time game.
There are still too many obscure recent movies & not much beyond the 80's since last reviewing the game. It also has TV questions - in a movie quiz?! Why not do a separate TV one & have more older movies here? There are a wealth of titles going back easily to the 1920's to choose from. Since my first review there are added game packs. These can be bought with in-game coins, (although some pictures are repeated). Initially there was a charge but this has thankfully been removed!
You have an ad that will not shut down. It doesn't have a timer like the other ads. It just keeps running even if you exit the game the audio from the ad keeps playing and the only solution is to restart the phone. This causes me to lose my tokens and that is unacceptable. Fix the problem!
For an app where you have to guess the movies, there are an awful lot of TV shows mixed in. The description and name of the app needs to updated or they shows need to be removed. Also, there needs to be some formatting done so there aren't as many words that are split onto 2 lines.
Interesting, addicted, good for brain exercise to remember movies. But pls added more movies in each level , also control for pick letters less smooth so I hv to tap i/o touch letter. Would glad if there's option for Solved if we stuck n give more coins in every we open apps.
I love movie and this has it all. Old, new, and every genre. There are ads, but when they come up you can click out right away or just wait 5 seconds. For a fun game like this the little ads don't bother me at all.
Its good - the film Rush Hour is on level 5 and on level 43 - could you please add more levels and add more movies monthly

UPDATED: Now that ads are removed with main purchase have upgraded to 5 stars as overall feel and performance is also better. Previously rated this 4 stars... And it is worth it...But, just paid £11.49 to unlock all levels and there are Still adverts!?!?
Pretty easy trivia game mostly based on recent mainstream films, just a few classics and art house films thrown in! Enjoyable but don't expect a challenge.
Not bad. Just wish the words were cut appropriately to make it easier to guess. Like a 2 letter word = 2 spaces A 5 letter word = 5 spaces... But definitely enjoy the game as it is challenging!
For some reason they have broken up the words across two lines so half the word is on the top line and half on the bottom line. This is really bad formatting and if I was trying to guess the name of a movie I would be really frustrated.
Very fun and challenging. It trips you up though because it's called Guess the movie and they throw in a random TV series here and there. You have to be on your toes!
Interface could be much better. And it includes tv shows. Not amazing, but OK as a time sink.
One of the images in level one is very graphic and it shouldn't be there. It looked like a great app but uuterly disappointed.
addicted to this game and played it consecutively for hours in 3 days ! imo, the ads were tolerable so i am thankful for that ( it doesnt last that long tbh ) and fr new users, pro tip : just google the actors' name if you know them or describe the subjects in th clue ( it might come in handy like "sunshine" ) 🙈
Okay but shows series also. So not all movies which throws you. Especially when a well know actor has done several film and TV with similar roles.
I need to uninstall the app because it isnt working without an internet connection. And pictures are loading too long. Its just that I have a late reaction about this app.
I paid for ad free, and at random times I'll get the music from the Angry Birds ads. UI could be better on the answers.
Brilliant time waster game, very wide variety of movies, so anyone has a good chance of beating this game, would give it 5 stars but they also put in tv shows, which aren't movies, obviously
I installed the app and that was fine. However, when I tried to start it, the app kept closing. So I can't rate a game anymore than a star for not being able to play.
It's called "Guess the Movie..." and once installed is just called "Movies Quiz" but contains series too. The design has no quality nor detail and is copying basically every other quiz game, also the way the letter boxes are displayed drives me mad, they break words because it doesn't fit in the screen anymore, but they could perfectly break before the word and display it fully in one line
