Guilded

This application has so much potential and has so much to offer to community managers. I have so many ideas that could improve some of its features. Unfortunately, the Android application doesn't yet support the bot feature and is very laggy. On a server, it is very hard to slide the windows and at some point they will block and you have to restart the app completely. The subscribe idea is really cool as well, it would be amazing that servers have a subscribe button on the overview.

There are many possible ways to improve the site so it doesn't seem like a carbon copy of Discord. I'll list some ideas I've had as follows. This is in no way a negative review. -Mobile is full of holes the desktop version has filled. -Customisable background color and text color maybe? -bug note: On first download sometimes profile pictures don't work. Happened to me. -Mobile interface is very confusing at first not gonna lie -Server tutorial is laid out in a weird way.

Guilded is a great app that I personally prefer over Discord because of its minor improvements yet still staying similar. Though I have some issues with it, listed below; - Mobile app is very laggy and choppy. - DMs are a little difficult to manage and I want a possibility to add a server or DM to the home screen of my phone, not the app itself - Calls on desktop always show a big block of useless information. I only want this to pop up once a user shares their screen or turns on their camera.

My last review was a 5 star, but just a day later, it changed to a 3 star. The app seems like it sometimes loads channel and sometimes not, to me, it seems like some features are locked to desktop app, like moving the superiority of the roles. I can't use the "save" button to change the privacy of my server, I can't create certain type of channels, tho sometimes I can. This app has much bigger potential than discord, I look forward to seeing it grow. You should try it regardless the reviews!

A well made chat platform, has a solid foundation and a plethora of nifty little features that make running a community much easier. Performance has improved quite a lot as well. Sub groups inside a guild is a blessing as it helps with decluttering and providing a easier experience for users. Permission management being done properly is also a huge bonus from me. They focus on stability of what they have already and interacting with the user base as much as they can.

Guilded seems like a good alternative but the app needs a lot more work. Pfps don't load, you are locked out of all customize features, and vc doesn't work on phone. But if it gets just as good as pc I can see myself fully switching over.

Great alternative to discord though it still is experimenting and developing which is needed for some functions of the app. Only think that hampers it is a limited range of file formats compatible to share on a given server, otherwise its great on desktop too.

I've been forced to use this app because of the heavy handed and impersonal nature of Discord's "Trust and Safety" team, which still won't tell me what I did to deserve getting my account disabled permanently without any warnings, despite at least 5 appeals and the same canned response for each. And while Guilded does still need some work in some areas, it's absolutely a great alternative! I just hope more people come to Guilded soon.

This is a very potential app I see so far, regardless of the app being a bit slow at the moment (in which I understand but I am hoping this app to be much more responsive in the future). My complaints is that this app currently does not support GIF pfps and banners, I am looking for this feature soon. Keep it going ^^

So far this program [pc] and app seem quite good, a recommended alternative to discord servers. Some things are lacking compared to discord but this is fairly new and still growing and already has some features better than discord. Also the ui and everything for the most part is clean and easy to use. The mobile app still needs optimized as it has mild issues for most people. However the pc version is literally flawless so when the mobile catches up this program will be in real competition

Very similar to Discord but with some distinct differences. Discord has slowly started moving away from being gaming focused, but Guilded is very much designed with gamers in mind. They provide a lot of free features that Discord now charges extra for, including animated emotes and profile banners. I do wish that there was an AMOLED mode and that I could upload GIFs directly from my gallery, but those are relatively minor complaints. This app has a ton of potential.

There's a few issues. But it's still a better platform overall. For one, the app tends to be generally slow, buggy and unwieldy at times. I've been logged out seemingly at random and I notice some annoying things like swiping to go back just puts me at my profile instead of going back to the previous channel or server I was in This feels like a beta. That's for sure

Fantastic service that is intuitive even for a technological equivalent of a boomer (me) I want to start my own server for the online game "Warthunder" and it was as straight forward as something for example like setting up an email address, anyone can do it! Recommended thoroughly.

The app so far looks good. Anyone that used Discord would find it easy to get accustomed to use it. I honestly like all the addition options the channels have. Highly recommended if you are looking some app for mmos or making groups for gaming in general.

Unable to share screens/stream on ipad or mobile. Mobile glitches and lags immensely. Not really made for mobile period. When trying to upload files it only allows the last 15 or so on your phone into folders. Reloads the same 15 infinitely as you scroll. I'd give 1 star but dedktop version works extremely well. Discord has guiled beat in mobile, guilded can't be beat on desktop.

If you've used other platforms, Guilded is supercharged with everything you've been missing out on. The mobile app needs more polish. Things are kinda small on a lot of screens.

The ability to custom Groups, Categories and Channels is outstanding. The different types of channels available are almost overwhelming. Yet, the lag is slow, the voice channels need work and last I checked the streaming was laggy and the audio wasn't working. Pictures and Videos take long to load when sending but if you can put up with that it's great. I'm looking forward to future of Guilded.

Functionally it's 90% of the way there, it works well but still missing some small features (certain settings that are only available on PC, speakerphone). Aesthetically.. the animations are laggy, aspect ratio is somewhat odd and some things have small delays. It's very nice and works great.

Guilded exists in a strange area where it has features that I like that Discord doesn't have. In application forms, polls, superior media channels, and better sever sorting. However, it also lacks some features that prevent my group swapping over. Such as the lack of the same streaming functions that Discord has, many links don't embed, and weird little quirks that are hard to describe in a 500 word review. I see a lot of potential with Guilded and I hope it contuines to improve itself.

The app is really great. However there are few little things that prevent me from switching to it. You can't do the most simple things that you can do on discord like right clicking an image and copying it, right clicking an emoji to download the image. And not being able to post files other than gifs and images. Oh and not being able to post gifs into the media channels.(or was it videos im not sure..) once those things are fixed id probably switch from discord to guilded not gonna lie.

Some minor issues here and there, like the insertion line sometimes getting thrown out of place on mobile, but serves as a good Discord alternative. Especially since they have more game focused features. Also, Discord totally stole the threads feature from these guys.

As an app for texting friends, I found this to be great. Already I have found that it is both one, non-paying customer friendly, and two, it seems to be organized very well with different tabs under the servers for sections. I look forward to using this app much more in the future and seeing how it improves!

I'm new to this platform just because I knew that Discord is planning to add those bad NFTs (I hate NFTs) but their plans may be stopped. I feel like It's a bit slow when I'm using it, but it's so interesting for an discord alternative like this to have more features than Discord. Well, I think the mobile version should've gotten some better updates to make the features from desktop can be used as well on Mobile!

I actually set up a server for my d&d group, having separate channels for character bios, rules ect., it has been quite helpful for keeping everything organized vs a text thread. Also the voice room options are really nice and the face that people can be mited or deafened it's great if one person is getting information vs other people on the server. So far in my experience theres no loss of audio and the video/streaming options are really nice as well.

The voice chat is garbage on mobile. It is super choppy. You get feedback every so often if two people happen to talk at the same time. It will also kick you off of speaker if you aren't currently in the app. Also if I black out my screen and then try to go back into my phone while in chat, it will black out my screen on its own when I go to touch anything. It even blacks out when I try to go back into the guilded app. This will keep happening until I disconnect from voice chat.

This is super easy to use and has all the functionality I was worried I'd lose switching from discord. I think discord has more functions but I didn't care about a lot of them and that also made the program more resource intensive. Guilded has been lightweight and all the functions I care about just plain work.

lots of issues at the moment. one of them being that if you want to reply to a message or something and you click the wrong part of the message it opens a thread, nobody cares for threads man just make it an option in the hold menu. i keep misclicking that too often its getting pretty annoying. also its a little slow to refresh if you left the app and went back, there arent any indications either that its refreshing
