Guinness PRO14

The app itself is pretty poor. Ruined their home page with updates. The really bad part is the actual subscription itself. Payed about 150 euro and heaps of the subscription only extended highlights don't work at all. The streaming function is pretty useless as well and so un user friendly. I tried to cancel to get my money back but unfortunately was told it was too late. Definitely won't pay for it next year. Get better quality playback streaming games off those not so legal platforms

Very poor app. Seems that it's been flung together just because the URC needed an app. Home page says nothing, current matches are not shown unless you know what round it is, line up information is never correct and it actually looks cheap. You get the feeling nobody can really be bothered making an effort so I'll be uninstalling.

Downloaded the app, clicked register, put in my details and clicked submit. I get a toast message that's says I entered something incorrectly. But it doesn't say what was incorrect and I couldn't figure it out.

I think a lot of reviews are rating the app poorly because of the subscription service to watch live games which tbf is too expensive. However, I will actually review the app - this is what the PRO14 (now URC) needed, it's great for keeping up with news, scores, and game analysis. I think it will bring in new fans as its easier than ever to stay in the loop. No lag, no glitches, and graphic design is also top class👍

Great if you are watching on a phone/tablet but terrible if you cast it to a TV. There is no option to fast forward the on demand matches and if you stop and restart it take you back to the start and of course you can't fast forward. Every match starts with about 30 minutes of pre match commentary which you can't fast forward to get to the match. This app needs basic control functions when casting. Very poor as this is the only way to view a paid subscription as BT TV has no channel

Could not register and does not allow to pick d.o.b. easily. Had to scroll back over 50 years a month at a time. 🙈

Would be a great app if it wasn't completely neglected. Hasn't been updated since Nov 2021. A lot of work needs to be done especially with the landing page and fixture lists being completely redundant. I'd recommend the tribe app as this app seems to have been forgotten.

The layout is not very intuitive, and there doesnt appear to be a way to filter your teams fixtures. Also, the dates are along the top, but it doesn't tell you if that's a Saturday or a Friday, even when you click into the fixture it doesnt tell you so you need to look at a calendar each time. I do hope that the app is still being worked on further, as I preferred the old one at this point.

Terrible video quality for streaming and replays. Expect UHD or 4K for price. Puts a large black border when streaming to tv on chromecast. Slow and cumbersome app. Greedy, twice as much as ESPN+ which had way better streaming quality and a ton of extra context. Lazy launch. Couldn't care less about the useless branding from Rock nation or whatever it's called. Will turn more people away from the Pro 14 (URC) instead of attracting newcomers and satisfying seasoned rugby fans. MUST DO BETTER!!

What is the point of paying a lot of money to watch on demand replays when there is no way of getting to the videos without seeing the score. Totally deflates the experience and until they alter this and take away the headlines that also spoil the result, the subscription is absolutely NOT worth it.

Spam notifications and data protection concerns. I signed up as a follower of a URC team but even after unselecting every notification option I've still received push notifications about a partner competition. I was required to sign-up to get relevant information for my URC team and can find no option to delete my account and data. If the promoter and app provider are spamming and making account termination difficult they can't be trusted with any personal data.

Can't watch videos .. says something went wrong try again later. Doing it for months. Reinstalls make no difference. Also who ever thought that putting the score of each game on the highlight video thumbnail needs a talking too.

The user interface needs a lot of work. Having a screen with a simple timeline of upcoming matches would be a help as at the moment you need to go through each day to see when your team is playing next. Also in the team view there is a fixtures screen which would be great if only it had the date of the matches. I can see what time kick off is for all the upcoming matches but I have no idea what day they are on.

The main fixture list only has dates, not days of the week, which isn't helpful when they can be any day! The fixture list for individual teams doesn't even have dates, just rounds, which is totally useless. If these coule be added, it would get a much higer rating from me, as fixtures and tables are the main thing I'd use it for

Designed by someone who I think does not follow rugby but formulas for apps! It's clunky and just not intuitive, needs a lot of fixing imo. The developer should get real rugby fans and get some advice and input from them. We will wait and see what happens but if it's as bad as the last Pro14 app I for one won't be using it much. Remember not everyone has social media

This app used to be good when it was Guinness Pro14, it gave fans like me living in England the ability to keep up with our teams and scores across the league. Now you can't even see fixtures/results without signing in and it won't let you do that or even set up a new account. Nor can I even sign up to URC TV to watch my team, absolutely pathetic service and set up. Whoever ballsed this up should be ashamed of themselves. Don't bother with this app.

Excellent app with line ups, timeline and stats plus video and reports on matches. Note than all blue links on black background are unreadable, which is the only negative.

Horriible experience, full of bugs. While being logged in, when trying to view any video it redirects to the login page. + on the full match replay page some donkey decided to show the score of the match one wants to watch...

None of the videos play, something went wrong, please try again later. And whose brainless idea was it to put the scores in the replay section? 99% of people who want to watch a match do NOT want to know the score before watching!

Every time I try to watch a video it says "oops something went wrong try again later" soooooo frustrating. I have a Nokia 7 btw. App is surely badly optimized

Needs a lot of work in many of the features it tries to provide. Many glitches in basic areas too (e.g. props listed as full backs in the starting line up)

Dreadful. Can't create an account or sign in but more importantly, one week before the tournament starts and there are no listings for games, schedules or tables. Awful app, how can it be so shoddy in this day and age? It doesn't bode well for the new tournament if they can even put together a simple working app.

Best sporting app I have ever used

Has the potential to be great, but videos don't work. When opening videos the app freezes and crashes my 2018 flagship.

Great to navigate, all you need to know about fixtures etc. But it's a pity about the video problems.

You really need to sort out the issues when playing video. Constantly telling me something went wrong when trying to watch something.

Poor poor quality for last two years. Obviously hasn't kept up with newer phones and their OS. Will keep trying again, but not hopeful. Used to be good.
