Trying to share a link to guitars for someone interested in making a purchase for their daughter. Instead of taking the person to the product, it takes people to the app store to have them download the app. Here's a little heads up GC; If people wanted the app, they would install it. Now you just lost out on a sale because the person I was helping select a guitar cant have your app on his phone so couldn't see my recommendations. Combined with horrible photos of gear, its just trash!!!!
The App is Super Easy to use. I love the ability to research and track my favorite guitars and gear. I LOVE finding used gear much cheaper than eBay or Reverb. GC and this App make guitar collecting easier and more efficient.
App is great for online instrument shopping and giving you a wishlist to save up on what you can afford and buy certain parts at a time rather than purchasing everything all at once and leavin a great big hole in your pockets! Lol Especially if your not crazy rich!
Guitar center is trash. I bought a "gently used" guitar through the app and had it shipped to my local gc. It was used alright, more like damaged. They refused to make it right but offered to buy the guitar back on the spot for 20 dollars! Buying a guitar at guitar center is the equivalent of buying a used dog from a puppy mill. Do your part to help put places like this out of business and shop local. Id chop my junk off and throw it in the garbage disposal before shopping at gc!
Really good for checking local store inventory, etc. Knew before going to "the big city" that the items I wanted to try out were in stock and available.
real easy to use, many options on items and gears.... even for used. Convenient to browse on mobile as well.
I am a regular customer. I like the section on you app and website. Especially used gear. You have the biggest selection and everything is priced cool
Look, it does what it's supposed to but little more. Maybe do some upgrades and allow better real-time used gear searches, as I always find that items in the app are sold out. But, if looking for most new gear, not too shabby. I would love to see a price matching option, or a better online selection because I often use Amazon for most peripheral items like midi and USB cables, picks, and strings because they are much cheaper. But, GC has a gear card, so...
This app is a musician's dream. I like to just scroll through deals I'll never buy. It's satisfying.
Its aight. Poorly made app with slow service and bases searches on the last word; but does get me where I need to be.
Just the best place there is to shop for guitars and the guitar accessories or anything in music world that is guitar center just rocks
Everytime I go to guitar center it's a wonderful experience, except this 1 store in Massachusetts that sucks out loud off of Washington Street in North Attleboro Ma,02760, They cop an attitude at you rite off the bat in the door. They fight the 45 day return policy of Guitar Ceter if you where not satisfied with the product,I always have to go somewhere else and they always try to lo ball me on trade INS.
It's cool if you like to browse, it's clunky and will stop in the middle of your session and take you back to the home page. Which can suck, if your browsing through alot, takes time to find where you were at again. I usually just close it after that. Also, it ask me to call when trying to enter my rewards to make a purchase. I would prefer to just copy and paste the code into the coupon area, but nope codes won't let you copy. At least on my phone. Frustrating to say the least.
I found this app to be incredibly glitchy. Often, to search an item up, I'd have to search three or fours times for the app to register my search. With that, often when I clicked on an item, there would be no image shown, despite when searching on my phone's web browser, I could find the same item with a picture. There were many other issues, and all in all, I'd say I installed this app, figuring it would make it easier to search Guitar Center on my phone, but the exact opposite happened.
The app constantly crashes and navigating the search feature is an absolute nightmare. When you search for something it pulls up all the product listings but then immediately brings up the keyboard and search window. Making it impossible to go through the listings. If you press back on your phone or on the website it doesn't take you back to the listings it takes you back to the HOME PAGE. So you go back and forth about 10 or 15 times and then it randomly decides to just show you the listings.
Absolutely terrible experience trying to use this app. I've never successfully made it to the filters/refine page after selecting "guitars" as it just loads constantly without ever loading a single piece of content on the page. When I try to search for a specific product, the app just crashes. I'm using an up-to-date Galaxy Note 8 on an insanely fast home Wi-Fi network.
if the app worked and loaded like it should, it would be a 5 star rating. The images of products take a long time to load, and if you want to sort them from lowest price to highest price, the option never loads to be able to sort it. the app also closes at random, but seems to happen most when backing out of a search, then entering a new product, it'll stall for about 15 seconds then close. This happens all the time as I do searches for product by model numbers that I'm interested in.
decent app, but a bit too marketing heavy. mostly I want to see my account, check my orders, and such. But you have to navigate to those areas, whereas it seems they should be more prominently featured. Rather, the home page is just the guitar center website, geared toward shopping. I get it, I just find it slightly annoying.
I've successfully opened the app maybe 3 times or so but it keeps crashing and fails to open. I can't really rate the app on too much else besides this. One of the times I did manage to get into the app to search for something, the search feature kept opening and closing my phones keyboard and never ended up searching for the product. If you're curious why guitar center is losing money here's a good reason why. Do yourself a favor and just download the reverb app and you'll be 10X happier.
This App used to work. Now It works once then crashes and has to be reinstalled. I have reinstalled it four times. After the last reinstall it wouldn't even get through one open and browse session, and crashed quickly. Guitar Center needs to Fire their website developer and hire someone who knows how to do it and fix their own mistakes. The app worked fine until a couple of months ago. I thought they would fix it quickly with an update, but they haven't and it's become a chronic problem.
I order gear off of this app at least once every couple weeks and for the most part, I've enjoyed it. Even with standard shipping, items arrive quickly. However, this app needs optimization and UI tweaks like, yesterday. Battery Saver mode messes with this app, as images for the daily sales won't appear, nor will any other tab (Account, Shop, etc.). Typing in searches and navigating the selection parameters when using Sort & Refine also need serious work. It's a nice app, but lacks ease of use.
attractive layout, smooth interface, intuitive controls. photographs of products are ideal; what you see on your screen is completely on point...the very definition of "what you see is what you get." Unlike most app versions of websites this one is optimized for a smooth experience AND retains all the features of the web browser version/desktop site. (A HUGE pet peeve-app versions of websites where "optimized" means "stripped of full function".) This app gets it right-a symphony, not Chopsticks.
I love this app as it has a lot of great advantages, but it has a few annoying problems. Having to click an item multiple times to view it (this occurs in the search bar), inability to do certain things because it says I need an internet connection even though I am connected, and the occasional disappearing of my wishlist and other items. As I said I absolutely love this app, but these problems tend to be very nerve racking.
This app is very useful and has a pleasing layout. However.. It's beyond bugged. The app crashes constantly, the keyboard continues to pop up after I've hit "search" a million times, and when I finally get it to go away, the recent searches stays up so I cant even see the search results. Please fix this app guys. I love guitar center so much. 😔
Decent app, but could use some speed optimization and general improvements. A better user interface would be welcome as well, with a more refined way to shop by category. But the most important and much needed update would be to optimize it and get the app working faster. Occasionally it glitches and freezes when trying to view product photos too. Some improvements in these areas and it would be a great shopping app!
I mean... It's a freaking Guitar Center app. You can order stuff from it, and probably my favorite feature is a filter by location. In general the fact that you can filter things is very helpful. It would be nice to get a little bit more detailed with searches though. I'm trying to get a guitar that has 24 frets and a Floyd Rose bridge, but instead I have to filter my price range, and location so I can look for guitars that have those. Great app though. Better than looking for guitars on Amazon.
Its a good app! I'm using it to find certain guitars that I'm thinking of buying in the future. There is one annoying thing though. Whenever I search for something using the search bar, im never able to get out of it once I search for whatever im looking for. I tried clicking out of it, hitting "search" or "done", but im always stuck there. After a minute of spaming buttons, im finally able to get out of it, and to start scrolling through products. Other than that, its a good app!
Super glitchy on my Android S8. Will randomly close when I try to search location & the search bar will not let me input text or, when it does, I can't view my results because it will pop up and cover the products. EDIT: App FINALLY got updated & now it crashes upon opening! Thanks, Guitar Center! If I could give 0 stars I would. Pathetic for how large GC is.
it was great for the first three years I had, and then, as of late, it keeps failing to open oh, and I have to keep reinstalling it. Fix the bugs now please. Update, after multiple attempts at feedback and reporting the problem, this joke of an app still crashes. Love guitar center but hate this app. It's almost like they don't care about the problems. Smh
I use it a lot to search used gear. Most of the time the sort and refine feature works great. I like that you can further refine than by dollar amounts. A really irritating feature is when clicking on the url link of a specific piece outside the app it opens the 'rate this app' page. Don't get that.
