Really good app. Highly recommend. Has lots of related material for anyone getting started or more. New technology always seems to be added. Tried a few of the songs and the app moves based on your playing. Great for anyone. Have tested the app against other tuners and this app can fine tune. Wish I could figure out how to download onto my Windows 10 Laptop. Lots of sites offer a download, but don't want to make the wrong choice. Definitely download so you always have a tuner and song helper.

I am a beginner guitar player, this app helped me to tune and find chord shapes. Tuning works even in relatively noisy environment. It is better than fender's tuning app. Improvements l would love to see, 1. There shouldn't be much in app sounds when identifying chords by ear. 2. Chord shapes can have the involved notes written at the bottom of the strings, so it would be must helpful to memorise the fretboard. Thanks overall.

Thought it was asking me to subscribe in order to use it, hit back to close the app and it went over to the tuner screen. You don't need to subscribe to use the tuner but the way the intro screen was set up it made it seem that way which seems misleading and seems intentional. Almost made this a one star review as you shouldn't have to pay a yearly subscription for a tuning app. The tuner itself works very well and is very intuitive, you just start playing and it picks up what you are playing

Too good, too accurate. I am not guitar expert at all but just a beginner. I have clip tuner, which suppose to be best for accuracy, this app is exactly matching with it just by correct algorithm. It makes life easier and it's very quick. I am enjoying without any paid feature and there's no annoying ads at all. Thanks dev team.

Tuner works great, but songs don't load. When clicking on a song to play, you get the option of 'try for free' or 'watch an ad to continue'. When you click to watch an ad, it says 'An error occurred. We couldn't load the video for you'. So you can't actually use any of the songs.

If you need a good understandable tuner, this is it. Every guitar player should have this application on their phone. There is nothing worse then getting put on the spot to play a way out of tune instrument. This tool is wonderful when you're in need to restring your guitar. I've tried all the other tuners and this is indeed my recommendation.

Was super good for the first time I used it it locks the tone once you hit the correct. Frequency but the next time I used it it became chaotic and wouldn't. Definitively. Lock in no matter how subtly I went up or down and could not be. Done the way it'd been B4 it was perfect the first time so I'm confused as to what was. Screwing it up I used my digital keyboard to try and see if I had lost my mind. Even perfect tone would not work so I uninstalled

Guitar tuna is the best app for guitar, period!!! I've tried so many different apps for keeping my guitars in tune and for learning chords and scales and things of that nature and nothing compares with guitar tuna. Nothing even comes close! It is a great app and it's sister app Yousician is fantastic as well. So whatever you do... Make sure you do it with guitar tuna!!!!!!!!

I paid for this app a few years ago and I loved it. I was gone in an institution for 3 years, came home and started using it again. I could tune to open chords before I updated. Updated and now they want me to pay 7.99/month to tune to open chords after I purchased the function years ago. Don't get this app, it was cool. Was.

Over all the app is really good at the basic level. It is frustrating when the app doesn't acknowledge the chord being played or passes an obvious error as a played note. It would be nice if it actually worked when it should. Problem keeps persisting. I even downloaded another tuner to check this one. One of them is wrong...

This app has been very useful in helping my child tune not just guitar, but also ukulele. Neither of us has a natural ear for tuning these instruments, and the illustration also helps me since I don't play guitar and don't know which string is what key. Much better than the little tuner from the music store that clips on!

Such an intuitive design. The layout of the tuning screen is brilliant. Have been playing for 30 years and having this on my phone actually makes me want to pickup my guitar again. I am a software dev as well and I know how hard you guys work. Give yourselves a pat on the back and keep up the awesome work 😎

"Play chords you see" is a feature that I could pay for, but sadly it does not recognize me play any chords, even though every separate string is tuned and recognized well in tuner. Maybe you should add a feature to verify that every separate string in a chord sound correctly. As it is now, not worth it...

The variety of Stringed instruments is Astonimical However they are missing 8 String guitars(dosnt comcern me ), my only other problem is the separate subscription you have I couldn't find an option to log I to my youcisan account so I was disappointed to see that I was required a separate subscription to use the proper tuning app , it looked promising too , fix this and I'll happily use this app

Okay I'm just using the tuning aspect of this app at this time because I have no idea what the chords should sound like. But I love the in depth look to tune the guitar. At this time I still haven't started to learn but that's why I bought a affordable electric/acoustic guitar from Chinese mail order company (BCH ?) It sounds good to me but trying to find lessons online I'm leaning toward a guy named Marty. My goal is to learn Big Sky and or Young and Innocent Days by the Kinks. Greatest Band.

I love it so much, hoping there's a way to keep the chords offline so I can open them whenever I want to and play the songs. But beside that, everything else is great and the interface are friendly user too. Been using for years now, best tuner app so far.

Bought this app years ago as it works well. However latest versions pretend that there is now a delay in startup, 'loading tuner', and uses that to display ads. There never used to be a delay, the app is clearly lieing to users in order to try to make more money from ads. I bought the app so I didn't have to see ads! Hate being lied to like this by app developers so will look for a better tuner app to buy. Avoid this one people.

Just use fender tune. GuitarTuna used to be my go to until they started cramming all of these ads and subscriptions down my throat. Now every time I launch it I get to wait while the tuner "loads" with a giant ad on the screen. It's never taken 10 seconds to load the app ever. Suddenly when they've got a product they want you to sell it has a loading issue.

Works fine, but you can't tune in any tuning other than standard without paying a high subscription. They should at least let you do all the tunings without having to pay.

Awesome concept of smart scroll where the scrolling automatically follows along to where you're at in the song. It really blew my mind. It's just that there are only a limited number of songs available. So, keep that in mind before paying or downloading.

Should have left well enough alone. Now the app doesn't just tune your guitar, but makes you tell them your music preferences and tries to get you to play. Forever in the quest of SaaS revenue.

I like it! Each time I tune my guitar it sounds more accurate probably because I'm getting better at it. I really like that it tells you to tune up or tune down from where the pitch is. Somtimes I have difficulty hearing if the pitch is too low or visa versa and as a result I often break the high E string but not anymore, Also I think it will be easy for my 6yr old Grandson to learn to tune his guitar. I'm a beginner student

Amazing! My ukulele keeps going out of tune and it helps so much! It also has other string instruments like guitar and bass! It has different kinds aswell! 10/10 100% reccomend! If I had to rate the ads, I would give it a 0, but that's not possible so I give them,a 1 as there are no ads! It's also really easy to use! I reccomend to tune.

App was very accurate and surprisingly still worked in loud situations! It also offered some additional features that were intuitive and helpful! Works perfect and adds dont get in the way.

I wanted to tune my guitar and play songs, I didn't want to buy a pass to play all the songs for free. I played one song (bad guy by Billie Ellish) and after I was done, it didn't allow me to play anymore songs. I would recommend if you need to tune your guitar, but if you want to sacrifice $10.00 to play songs or waste time watching ads., I would not recommend.

I bought the paid version of this app and they still show you ads when you open the app, making you wait to open the app you paid for. Shameful. Add some sketchy data collection policies, and I have to recommend just buying a physical tuner that doesn't cost a monthly subscription to advertise to you and collect your personal information.

I've been using this app for maybe 7 or 8 years now and it's great, I've never even touched a different tuning app. In middle school / high school I used it to tune my violin for class, and now I use it for my guitar. It's great and the interface is really simple. It's easy to figure out your way around the app. 10/10!
