GuitarTapp ChordPro

I have version 1.5.21 and have used it with relative success for a few years. Until now...I am ready to toss it. I can't even Edit obviously incorrect chords from my Library as they come up in a totally different key from what I saved. Anyone know where a guy can find a "User Guide" for assistance? I used to LOVE this app....Not a "Tech" so don't understand what changed but it sure ain't a good change.

I if could give it 10 stars I would. When every other searches fail, this one comes through. Great app. It's awfu now. Where's my guitar tapp pro? It worked perfectly all the time. This version won't even let you just go back to home page smoothly. It's a clunky app that makes just shut it down and find a different app. This is barely a one star app. A little piece of advice if it ain't broke, don't fix it. You ripped me and several others off us off with it

Use for years. Last band I was in we all had paid version, previous version, and sync'd all the band songs and then set list for that particular gig. That was good because I could keep separate from my other songs. Then they changed to the new app. OK I'm getting used to the format and some of the new things are good. I don't even mind paying the $.01 per SONG but I wish it was for song SAVED. Some songs, most songs have more than 1 variation. I prefer to try them all the save the one I like. Just looking at them cost the $.01. It should be for SAVED song ie one you actually purchase.

Worked well until the last few months when syncing stopped working and in the past when this has happened I've been asked to do a reinstall - which worked. But now the new version has been released, on my Windows machine, featuring the reinstall, I can't even connect to my library. Now on the Android version, I can't sync and am getting no response from the publisher. I've tried reinstalling to my Android tablet and it installs but for weeks, including today, it fails to connect with server so cannot access any of my files.

I own their older program GuitarTapp, but an android update ruined the sizing on screen. I went to this App. You have to make a few In app purchases to get full potential of app ... but worth it. I edit my own Chordpro charts, use this weekly for setting up music for worship teams. Different from first App, but once you get used to changes, this is more powerful. I use with Dropbox and do most chord edits on PC, then sync to tablets and phone. To transpose, print pdfs, use foot pedal - great.

As mentioned repeatedly, sync feature is broken -can't import old songs and now they charge for new songs (10 free trial downloads, then pay up). Hasn't been updated in years despite MAJOR bugs reported over and over in the one star reviews. Not better than competition or googling for chords. Sorry. PS have been using paid version of Guitartapp Pro, but that's bugging out, and abandoned, too.

Moved to this on android phone from guitartapp pro cause it stopped displaying correctly. (oversized unreadable home screen). This chordpro version has a menu across the top that won't consistently appear when you want. That is annoying. Needing an editor sounds useful cause so many things posted have errors but using the editor on a phone is horrible. Probably best to edit on something else meaning you need it on another device preferably with a keyboard and sync devices.

I bought the Guitartapp pro app a while ago. Despite what the developers say it is not free. Now they've asked me to upgrade to ChordPro and pay again. It is not possible to transfer the library to the new app because the sync doesn't work. A lot of other users have this problem as is evident from the other reviews.

The old version was WAY better! This version is useless comparatively. They use "credits" (costs money) to just look at the songs. The old version didn't do this and was just better in every aspect. The developer says the play store doesn't support the old version starting with Android 8.0. Then make it available on your website to side load. I would pay a one time fee for an update, (not a subscription), even though I already paid once. Please ditch ChordPro for old version.

Really not happy with the new app! Firstly, I cannot get my library to appear. Syncing isn't working and the interface doesn't make sense. I should be able to just log in and get my library! Secondly, I'm SICK of seeing that stupid welcome message taking up my whole screen. Why won't you let us DELETE it? Honestly, what's so important about it that it must be PERMANENT? By the way, technically, I DID delete it, but it won't go away. Insult to injury since I can't retrieve my library or setlist.

I bought the original GuitarTapp Pro for iPad, PC, and Android. Where did Pro go? My large Galaxy phone clips to my mandolin or banjo (never play guitar). I used Pro to find songs for lyrics and chords, then saved as a text file and edited them with a powerful programmer's editor, then used Pro to display the modified text files. The new ChordPro breaks my my song system. I can't save or edit files. Please put GuitarTapp Pro back & get rid or hide the "AutoScroll" button in Pro.

Worse than previous version that disappeared off my phone. If it ain't broke why try and fix it.....and make it worse. I'm sure I paid a few pounds for the version they removed and now want me to pay again to look...no chance. Trying to monetise in such a blatant way rarely succeeds...time to uninstall...bye bye

I loved guitar tapp pro but found it did not work anymore. I just discovered this new version and so far i really like it. Now i dont care for it so much. It will not allow me to get more songs. I can still get them on my old version but they will not pull into this one. Wish they would just fix the original version to work on my s10 seeing how i did pay for it

This developer should be ashamed- it was, once upon a time, a very good app. I paid for the pro version. Then the developer tried to squeeze more money from customers and now it is virtually worthless. Some critical functions simply don't work. Avoid the headache and get something else. I'm trying out Songbook Pro, and so far it's been great.

What happened to my old guitar tappro? Which I paid for and can no longer download! This doesn't work at all! Can't find a song or display anything usable. You've really shot yourself in the foot here. This version is useless garbage!

App worked great as guitar pro... Had to download this as a separate app because it was no longer supported by the app my band used to set up set list. This app is a clumsy, cumbersome, and inferior piece of junk. Thank you for the forced down grade :(

Loved the old GuitarTapp Pro, th new version not so much. When I download a song, it only says verse and chorus. No lyrics or chords. I have requested help 5 times with no answer. Horrible customer service.

Such a shame about this app! Had a break from gigging and playing guitar due to the current circumstances...and just opened my tablet to this new version! This isn't user friendly enough for work at all so I think I'll have to find an alternative.

Tell me what I'm doing wrong. When I type in a word for a lyric, the input is defective. Example: If I type "Love" the input on the screen is "LLoLovLLov ..." etc and I can't locate anything in settings that enable me to stop the undesired storage of character in the keyboard buffer. Time waste on my Android.

Guitartapp pro has worked very well for years but i can't get the new version to work on my android tablet as it can't connect to the server and just says 'try again later' which I've been trying for days, getting the same message.

I hate this app it is a complete step back from guitartapp pro its slow you can not preview chords chats. I find everthing about it 100% useless. I am only entertaining the idea of using it because you have discontinued the brilliant guitartapp pro. please fix it

Loved the old app, but this new one will not access my old account to import songs. It gives a message to log into GuitarTapp Pro in settings, but then there's no place to do that.

Not good. Used old version for years both on and off the stage. That was excellent. New version is bloated with uselessness and s cash cow for developers. I paid for the old version gladly. I'm not paying for this. No good to me. Stick with the old version. Sorry.

I bought this app to create chord pro formatted file. It's pretty much impossible to even type a sentence in the app let alone create a whole song. It won't even let me copy what I've written from Word or Notes. Save your money and don't buy this app!

I paid for this app a few years ago and have accumulated 250 songs on it..when I recently bought a new tablet I tried to transfer my tabs as I have done in the past but it won't let me,,they now require $12 monthly fee? Through a 3rd party app ,,What a money grab !!!!! Avoid guitar tapp!!

Absolute rubbish app now. I have used for years on other Android devices and loved it. Now can not sync with either of my accounts. Notified developers three weeks ago, but no response. WHAT IS GOING ON?

The new versions were different but once I worked with it. It seems to be great. Like an idiot I bought the app again as it looked a bit different. Now it's even worse will not find songs and will not work. What a joke what a rip-off I can't get a refund.

This app is terrible in comparison to GuitarTapp Pro which I have used for 3 years. Cant get to my song library in Dropbox and it doesnt appear to have a Ukulele option. Why would I pay money for an app that is inferior and charges to access tabs on free sites.
