GuitarTapp PRO - Tabs & Chords

Great app for playing guitar. Some editing and a good monospace editor is required to get songs as you like. New android updates flag this app as perhaps not working well and no new updates for GuitarTapp. :( Downrated from 5 to 3 stars. Scrolling for songs works in either landscape or portrait and usually not the one you are viewing. Editing song info or moving song in a setlist no longer working. I use older android to edit and upload to cloud then download to newer devices. Seems to work.

Does not work well with newer Android operating systems. I have a new tablet and Samsung S10 smart phone. Menus will freeze and I have to close and reopen app. Very annoying when at a gig. Works great on my older tablet but that devise is about 8 years old and can't be trusted. I have sent this problem to Guitar Tapp but never get any replies. It's a shame....it was a fantastic app.

A True Oldie but a Goodie!! Always finds the songs. Always jams along if the song is local. Adjustable fonts. No need for horizontal or landscape mode for everything to fit. Many, MANY internal options! No longer updated but still EXTREMELY useful. We all have to die sometime... 😀 😀 Thanks again Developers for a great program, then and now!! 👍👍👍👍👍

This is a very good app spoilt by appalling support and a few bugs that make it very frustrating at times. But overall I'd rather have it than not have it. If 8.45 Tools would please sort out the support issues then this app would be the best without a doubt. My current issues are around the synch function that used to work perfectly but just stopped. Also the Windows App no longer saves tabs although it says it has, they just don't appear in the song list. These features used to work but suddenly stopped. Don't bother asking the developer for support, you just won't get any... Still, I can't find a better app than this one for what I need so I persevere hoping the bugs will be fixed at some future time.

Got this app on the recommendation from a friend. App is for for the most part unusable on my phone due to the oversize fonts rendered on the screen. I have scaled down the tab and UI size as much as I can from what I can see. The buttons and text just fill the screen, impossible to use. Have not been able to use the app for any music. It seems like I am not the only user with this issue. LGv20

Dropping my star rating from 5 down to 1. Something has happened to the app that renders it unusable and the developer seems to have disappeared. 1. The user interface doesn't scale like it used to rendering fonts wayy to big for smaller devices. 2. Synchronizing tabs between devices is now completely broken. Last sync I tried I lost 5 tabs that I had edited. This is unforgivable. While it's not a huge amount of money for an app, I do expect SOMETHING in the way of feedback from the developer. As it stands, they seem to be on permanent vacation.

While there is a big white banner across the bottom of the song, the giant font issue can be addressed by adjusting the ui size in the app settings menu. This app does several important things that no other app does - intelliwrap, set-lists, and notes to self for each song are even possible through the rating and comments feature. Also no ads and it seems to have all the aame selection as its horrible competitor ultimate guitar - a terrible app that does not take no for an answer.

Used to absolutely love this app, now with giant font you can hardly navigate the app. Then when you do get close to a song you want, the system does whatever it pleases while you are trying to scroll. I've dropped everything in the settings as small as u can (70%) and it's still HUGE. Why did you destroy something that was so great?

It used to be my go to app for chords but something happened along the way. The fonts are now wayy to big and I'm unable to shrink the UI past 70% in the settings, making this app unusable for me. I see in the comments that others have been facing the same problem for several months also but it seems that the issue still hasn't been addressed? It's quite a waste as the app was actually quite good and easy to use before. Devs, please fix the matter, especially for us paid users!

App is now useless. Blank screen after choosing songs within a saved set list. Thought it was isolated to my brand new Android tablet but within minutes the same had happened to all my bandmates and their devices... even chalked out up to a 'server issue', but next day... no change. One of the few apps that I have paid for only to get left hi & dri. I know I'm just a lowly drummer but this is a big disappointment :>》

Was hard to get started, but once I got going it is coming around. I used the help FAQ, but for me this did not help. Would like to see some instructional videos on YouTube. Would also like to see something where you could save autoscroll for each song. Already loving this app, only can get better ! !

i have been using this app for 2 years now and it has great features that cn be adjusted to work on my phone. though with the recent update i cannot adjust the UI size which is stuck 70% and all the fonts got super big that the chordpro feature become unusable. can you advise on hoe to revert back to the old version or maybe fix this messy update. thank you

All of a sudden won't work on my phone because font is HUGE and you can't adjust it. Paying users have been complaining for months and no feedback or timeline given for a fix. Sorry I recommended it to friends. Can't access my songs, favorites, anything. What a waste of time.

I loved this program until I got a new android 8 tablet. I can no longer search favorites, I have to scroll through several hundred songs to find the one I'm looking for. Also the autoscroll has become unreliable or does not work at all. I wish you guys could fix it. This used to be my favorite chord program.

This app is great BUT you are so slow to fix the things that go wrong. Android 9 has obviously caused a problem that has made 'MyFiles' and 'SearchFavourites' unusable. Please fix this urgently. I love this app, as many of your users do, but we need it to be reliable. I don't want to go elsewhere but I do need an app that works. Thanks.

I'm dropping my review from 5 to 1 star, the app became frustrating. After upgrading to android 9, the search favorites tab became unusable, when I click on the search favorites the virtual keyboard on my phone won't appear. It's been almost a year that I emailed the developer about the problem, up to this time there's no response from them.

When i save the tab, and tab dissapears, this used to work well in the past, what happened ? On screen keyboard also doesnt pop up when i click search, i have been struggling for 2 hours just to try and import 1 tab, after editing it, and it is on drop box but fails to appear in the app, i opened it manually, and said sace to favourites via chord pro, and its not appearing

Suddenly could not view any songs in chordpro format. hundreds of songs unviewable! The sudden unexpected disappearance of 100s of songs brought into question the reliability of app in any performance situation! Only fix I came up with was to restore "google's android system webview" to factory setting and songs reappeared. Turned off auto update on webview.

A great way to store your music and play it anytime. As I sing a lot of folk stuff and Aussie bush ballads I enjoy the ability to use my own files not readily available on the net. Occasional problems when sync fails, possibly due to server problems somewhere in the systems.

Doesn't seem like it's being updated any more. Font sizes are screwing up and making it difficult to read. Also the scroller doesn't work right and sometimes the whole app freezes up because of the scroll feature. I wouldn't reccomend buying unless these problems get fixed.

I love Guitar Tapp Pro! It's so easy to use, I can transpose the key of the sing, view how to play chords on guitar or ukulele, set-up the song to scroll up as I play, save music on one device and, after an updated save, have the song on my other device, and many other conveniences. I'm always recommending this app to my friends who play and sing.

This app is nearly unworkable on my S8. The touchscreen interface goes completely haywire after just a few commands. Yes, it has many songs with many versions of each, but their accuracy and usefulness are all over the place.

Changed from 2 stars to 1 Samsung Note 9 seems to be more issues of late. its a fantastic product. did the fix from the previous update but since this last update i cant make new setlists or even change songs from list to list now i have to use an older nonupdated phone to: * add songs to a setlist * make a new setlist * scroll through the general songlist please address the new issues with the latest Note 9 update.

This app has everything I need for live performance. Functionality is the same between IOS and Android. I can edit a tab on my iPad or Android phone then sync with their servers and then sync down with the other device. Scrolling speed is fully adjustble. No bugs or crashes. It just works.

Have owned this paid app for 3 years. Was very pleased until interface issues after update December 2018. Once after downloading update, the user interface OS back to viewable but now the app won't allow me to scroll thru the song list. I can still scroll thru the artists list.

what's happened to this app?? it still works perfectly on my very old samsung tablet, but is unusable on my new phone. the text size is so big, I can't navigate away from the front screen, let alone find a song. Please fix the app as it is excellent when it's working.

I just quickly fixed the giant font issue with the update. Thanks! No more walleye vision! I had to allow Google Chrome permission to download the file first. I searched in Settings and typed "unknown" and it took me right to Apps & Permissions. All worked fine on my pixel 2.

The interface on my phone, became so huge, I could not properly use the app. The controls in "Setting" were not responding. I tried to reinstall the app, but it wanted to charge me again. I tried to contact tech via facebook, have gotten no response in many weeks.
