This app is very irritating at times. I've been outbid 3 times on 3 different product's and I never ever get any notifications on my phone. I have the setting tuned for me to know when I'm outbid but it doesn't work. I won't spend anymore money on gunbroker. I've already spent at least 6k and I've had enough of it. Customer service is miserable. Good luck finding help for your questions!
Love this app. It is simple to use and a powerful buying/selling platform. The only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars is that when you return to the home page after conducting a search, the search box is reset to blank and you have to re-type a new search. This is tedious with related search terms. Other than that, I love this app.
Good app. You have to be careful about your pay settings. Especially with bidding. If you want something, put in the max you are willing to pay and it will auto bid you up to that point in $5 increments. Otherwise, you have to refresh/check email constantly. I have lost 2 items by not doing this. The check out and communication/finding ffls is great. Just wish more sellers offered cc versus money order/check. I understand they dont want fees but still:makes it risky for the buyer.
This app is not as easy to use as the website but it could be a lot worse. Once you get to know your way around the app, it's about as easy to use as the eBay app. All things considered, it's not half bad. I'm giving it five stars because I've been using Gunbroker since 2005 and it's always been a great resource
Clunky interface. Insufficient ability to refine search results (caliber, manufacturer, etc.). Does not remember search terms and sorting parameters. Hit the "back button 1 too many times, and you have to start over. The absolute WORST, though, is a persistent bug that logs you out at apparently random intervals - and kills your reminders until you log back in. KIND OF an important issue for an AUCTION app. The full site is great. The app is flaming garbage.
Works great, only thing they're missing is being able to put in a specific price range. It give you price as far as picking starting from high to low or low to high but I'd like to be able to type in an exact amount. The website has it but the app as far as I know does not.
I definitely like it. The only issue I have seen so far is when you put something wrong in the search bar. You actually can't go back and edit it if you type it in wrong. It deletes everything and you have to retype it. Pretty minor but that's the only thing I have seen
Has worked flawlessly up until recent update. Now it constantly just says that there isn't an internet connection. Even as I write this online review. So now it is basically worthless. Update... They released a patch to supposedly fix the connection problem but it still does not see that I am on the internet. So it is still worthless now!
The overall design of the app isn't bad but the search bar is finicky at best. Sometimes you search for X, then go back to the search bar and look for Y and it just re-searches for X again. Little agitating. But the apps not bad if you hate your wallet and love your 2a rights.
The search can be frustrating to use sometimes. I would like some type of watch list feature hard to find the same item.
The app is simple to use, fast, and works great! I realize that adding the checkout process is not necessarily possible due to Google and Apple rules, but please keep trying. Also, the "you have successfully started watching this item" pop-up is annoying.
Great app. Just wish you could do more advanced searches which you can do on the site. Only reason I did not give five stars.
This app has basic search functionality and allows bidding and such. Would get a higher rating if it had all the search and filter functionality as the website.
I have been on ebay since 98 and they are rampant with fraud but this is the worst online shopping experience ever, a bunch of old clueless men selling. They are too stupid to post pictures of serial numbers in pics or list in description. lazy old men selling on the web.
Need to work on the search function of the app. Every time you change the search you have to go back into the advanced search and set it up options for every search. On the Internet you don't have to.
App works pretty well. There are search option that are on the website but not in the app. There should be searches based on price in the app. I like the notifications on my watch list.
Gunbroker it self is great. The app needs work. For instance it logs you out every hour or so. When you log out you do not get notifications from the app, also the pain of typing in my password is tiresome. I can understand the need to log in again when bidding but not to just look at items and make them favorites. Fix the time out issue and allow better search functions and the app would be great.
