Really terrible quality. It's an enjoyable game and I made great friends on it, however the developers are more concerned about getting more money by adding new items too regularly, than by spending time working on making gameplay more seamless. At this point I've followed all recommended troubleshooting steps and cannot get past the load screen. Waste of money and time.
Game is free, basic rewards given and earned with daily chores. To be competitive in battles you are going to have to spend big to keep up with the big spenders. You can buy basic resources in game to advance, but its rather expensive. Advanced items are often based on a lottery style system which is less than favorable with poor pay outs. These advanced items are requirred if you don't want to be cannon fodder for those that spend. Love the relationships with other players.
Save your $$ I wouldn't spend a dime on it as GoG continues to add higher levels, unfair matchups (money grab) and makes it easier for newbies to move up the ladder quicker than those who started playing from the start. But if you have thousands of dollars to spend, you can do well. Unfortunately I can't provide a negative star rating...
Game is just to expensive, and just not worth it in the long run, because it just gets changed again, far to quickly, constant updates, don't fix the true issues of the game, and when you try and suggest anything you're ticket is just closed, with a computer generated response, be willing to spend a lot of money if you want to compete.
Pretty good game at first. New update to v 7.13 is rubbish. Same issue as all the other reviews. Doesn't load properly and can't play the game now. I've tried all the fixes suggested. Perhaps you should actually come up with a fix for everyone, clearly a fault with the new version. Way to lose a lot of happy customers 😕 Finally got it sorted but due to an update rather than anything else.
The gameplay is good like every other strategies game though the difference is the character and background story. Have more Guard(chr on war) and easier to recruit. However the graphic need to be improve, the map is not very clean and the game are laging. It not my fon since other game does not lag like that.
The game won't load. I have been trying for days. I have done everything short of Uninstalling and reinstalling. It has been updated, but still it stops at about 80% of the loading bar and either freezes or crashes. I was enjoying the game, but if I can't even play I will get kicked from my group and then the whole thing is just going to be pointless and I will move on to something else as It will probably do this to me again in the future.
You all need to fix all this not loading inexcusable nonsense! I can't even log on to put up a shield, I really don't know what is happening with your game! If it's not loading its a data error [n202003] data synchronization error what is happening This game is back to not loading! It seems to be the new thing with this app! I have tried many troubleshooting ways, but it still doesn't work! This is the only app on Google that's always problematic
I wish this game has a 7 day shield or even a 30 days like other war games. Sometimes real life takes over and you cannot log in to for days to put up a shield. You end up getting zeroed. Then it gets expensive to rebuild. Some of our team members left this game cause they cannot rebuild what was lost quickly. So they lose interest in the game and leave for good.
This is the second time dealing with the crashing and log in issue. Can't participate in Gold Event, UAC, nothing. Can't shield. Can't collect subscription. Everything open for the taking and i can't do anything about it. Again this is the second time this has happened. Tried to get my money back last time and all i got was an inbox full of refund denials.
3/29 update. The game is crashing again. I used the AndroidSystemWebView fix, and it's still crashing. What can I do now? 3/24 I'm also having a problem since the software update... I can't get the game to load at all. It just crashes over and over. This is my favorite game and I've put a lot of time and money into it. Is there a fix coming sometime soon? This is a huge deal. I've already emailed the devs.
Fun to play but nothing like the adverts. It's not in any way a 3D game. It's basically a 2D click and upgrade game on backgrounds albeit with very nicely produced graphics and some basic anims to liven it up. The gameplay is easy at low level but there is a steep learning curve with quite intricate upgrades of guards, airship, armour, & creation. There's lots of social opportunities for chat fluffing and coop with your fellow alliance. But to get really good you have to spend £$€cash.
Lots to do in the game however, unless you pay a lot it will take you years to upgrade. The kill events every other week makes things even tougher to advance. Sadly I haven't been able to load the app since the last update. Update: Support told me to use another device because of a bug with Samsung devices. Discord was more help in saying Uninstall webview. That worked for awhile, now issue came back. Update: Reducing to 1 star. Support has been zero help. Now my castle will lose all due to bug
Way better than I expected. I just downloaded it to get in-game currency for another game I play, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep it - as long as I can keep advancing and having interesting tasks without spending too much. I don't mind buying stuff here and there but if the game gets too greedy %@#$ it.
Just started and find it hard to figure out exactly what I'm to do. It does point to where go next but seems slow, but it has great graphics and had have zero problems with the game, works great.
The Spending never Ends...and expensive to play!..May 2022, and the Cash grab is still Strastopheric, now the Ultimate dilemma is , Spending 5 figures or 25kusd/40k usd to upgrade ur castle and for one reason or the other u have to quit playing , you can't sell the castle, put it in limbo, or developers buy it off you. At least if you spend thousands on a CAR or any real world material, we can still recoup a significant part of initial investment. ..bottom line.. it's a DIGITAL SHAFTING SCHEME
This game is awesome when you start and have a good active alliance but once you get to the higher castle levels you see more and more that you need to pay to get anything i have been playing for 500 days without missing a day and i still dont have a good castle skin because they only allow paying players to get them since they are the ones at the top of all the leader boards. My opinion is you should play to castle 30 and stop and you wont get disappointed
I've enjoy playing this game for some time. I enjoy making friends from all over the world. However, lately, the game won't load at random times. Usually during the 'kill event', which means I get attacked and lose resources I've been saving up. It's very frustrating. If I get zeroed out because I can't get on I'll probably quit.
it alienates and discriminates against the poorer and "Free to Play" players!! it's way to focused on who can spend the most and the biggest castles! Free-to-Play is basically non existant if you want to be more then just a low level player even if you do get above a c40! All the rewards are based on who spends the most gets the prize!! I've yet to see any event based on just you and not money spent! Smaller castles have NO chance in 7/8ths of the events and can't participate!
The only thing good about this game is the interactions with other players in the game. It is absolutely impossible to keep up with players who spend big $$$. You will never take top prize in any event. By the time you get the things you need for upgrades. Those items have been replaced multiple times... it's just not worth playing.
Game not working. Just sits and loads and loads. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled. Still doesn't work. Still doesn't work as of Feb 21. I uninstalled and reinstalled with no results. UPDATE AS OF APRIL Game still crashes won't even go past the startup screen. I read somewhere that this game doesn't work on Samsung phones. Very disappointing!
Completely unplayable On a brand new Galaxy S22 Ultra, it either freezes or crashes on the loading screen. Every. Single. Time l've tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice. There's no reason on my end this shouldn't work, but it doesn't. Please fix if you actually want people to play.
Can't log in.. did the clear cache airplan mode restart airplane mode off.. still won't connect. Have not been able to connect for 2 days so my shield will have gone bet my troops have too. UPDATE.. so answer to issue is play on another device!!! Not good enough I have played this for several years and spent a lot of money. This needs to be fixed. Uninstall reinstalled works once!!
This game is just good for killing time, the rewards are pretty good and the story for each characters are interesting. But you don't have to expect fun gaming experience. It's laggy, the game controls are troublesome. It load slow af too. If you want to play games like this, might consider playing "Rise of Kingdoms"
While this game can be fun, please note that if you are in any way competitive, this game will become a money pit. Packs are constantly advertised, and you must spend cash if you want to actually have decent stats. The best "free" rewards/upgrades from events never go to main castles, they always go to farm accounts. Be prepared to spend if you want to play.
NEW UPDATE, Its never ending money pit, have spent soo much money to try to be useful to alliance but there is no end in sight. This game is coming out with newer ways to make you spend money if you want to keep up, and its more frequent now. Still playing like a farm now but no longer spending.
First of all it's a fun game. But the 20 minute mandatory tutorial should have a skip option, most people that play have more than one account. Secondly, it's very hungry for money, I currently have 12 'special deals' blocking my view of a lot of things, which honestly is enough to make someone quit. Tone it down with that, you make plenty of money.
