I like the concepts that this app is working on. It has really great potential. My 2 main concerns is 1. It listed as fully automated, when in fact that appears to be the goal as evidenced by the list not auto populating ( and not way to select the desired point on any of the lists.) 2. Being it not clear to me how one navigates. It took me a sometime with great frustrations and colorful language to figure out how to get from the main screen to the individual character screen.
This app is a very good start, but will benefit greatly from the future improvements in the updates. From 30+ years as a GM and the same as a software engineer, I can see where the user interface needs to changed; larger fonts to be more readable to my 76 year old eyes, and add a small blank border around the edges of the screen to prevent the values there from being chopped off on curved-edge screens.
Been trying to find a GURPS app for a long time. Liking this a lot. My only issue so far is that when click on List for Advantages/Disadvantages, it just brings up a scroll with a blank blue list. One feature I suggest, is the ability to add custom Advantages/Disadvantages to the lists, so you don't have to remake them for every character.
Intuitive for most things and really like the lot of it. One improvement would be if there was a way to select a spell/advantage/disadvantage from the library and have the data listed (name of spell/etc, point cost. Maybe even basic notes of the use) copied into the relevant slot. For notes you might be able to have us help by sending in suggestions via the app somehow, so you just accept or reject them into the main app database for future updates? Thank you for the free app! :D
While I can add photos for my characters on my phone, I can't do that with my tablet. Also can't import characters with either phone or tablet. The font is hard to read, and the background images are too prominent. If there was an option to turn those off or replace them, that would be great.
Very good, it's the first GURPS app I've tried and it's doing the job very well. One problem is it doesn't allow setting skills to Very Easy. The fonts could also be tweaked slightly because some of the text gets clipped outside some of the buttons. I love the effect graphics (e.g. Shocked, Bleeding, etc), they're a great addition.
Giving it a 4 because I like where it's going. There are things missing that I would like to see. For example, it would be nice if we could change the background to give it a feel for a modern or science fiction game. This is still in development so who knows, we might get something like this later. A companion app for game masters would be useful for creating our creatures and organizing our adventures. But I do like what I see so far.
-As good as it is, there are multiple issues. It scrolls the menus when I am looking through the lists. -You can't pick from the lists itself, you have to type them all down regadless.regardless. this means you have to put all the info by hand making it ridiculously tedious. -It also randomly exits you out of editing. It's such a shame because this is the ONLY GURPS character creator app in this place. Welp.
Great core concept with some neat features. Could use some extra updates. There's a skill list but you can't select from it to load it onto your character. Updated above after reply, the scrolling wasn't obvious which is a small ui criticism. Wondering if there's a loophole where you can charge to remove ads or patreon or something because I've been looking for an android alternative to GCS for sometime. Would love to support this and encourage its growth.
I really like how this app is shaping up! However I am having trouble selecting pictures. Every time I try it gives me ' file select error' . Any help with this? ***UPDATE*** Figured out the picture problem. The image has to be on the phone internal storage, NOT an SD card. May fix in future?
Seriously, the UI is almost unusable. Get rid of the background images and parchment textures, use the system font instead of the calligraphy font you have, bring the text background colours down to a single colour and use saturation and luminance to set regions apart. All of that stuff makes it harder to use.
Wish it had a full library of advantages and skills like the PC GURPS Character Sheet app. BUT it works very well for what it is. UI could use some work to look more appealing. Otherwise I love it.
Good but could be better. This has potential to be a very useful tool for planning out characters for play and for solo games if that's your cup of tea. Once enough features are added and it's given some more polish I can easily see myself paying for an application like this. I'm keeping an eye on this.
Personally, the ui is aesthetically unpleasing, but the app is perfectly functional. Been able to port and create characters just fine.
It appears the problem I've mentioned occured only to one character. I've created another, and he's alright. I don't know when it happened, so I can't tell the reason, sorry.
very straight forward after playing with it for a minute. i would just want a random character generator in it.
Reasonably helpful for creating and fleshing out a character. Could use some preset advantages and disadvantages especially for simpler characters
It's coming along nicely... With skills you need to add will and perception to the stats drop down box.
Marginal usability, poor font choice,bad type color choice. Otherwise not horrible.
It gets the job done. Includes dice in the app. Compact and simple to use.

I know the app is on hold but I was curious. The avatar doesn't work for me is this expected currently or is it an issue with my phone.

Its a great app though it seems to occasionally delete all my information if that can be fixed it'll be perfect
works great and saves me time not having to write and erase everything.
when adding spells there no way to add the magery modifier so ot only goes of you IQ so your spell levels are wrong
Not a complaint, just a question... Is this app available on both Android and iPhone? Asking for a friend.
The app disables the phone back button. That alone is worth rejection, but moreover you can't change your stats! I don't know about you, but I've never played with a character that has 10s across the board. I really wantes to like this app, it's designed nicely and looked like it could be useful, but breaking system functionality to trap you in the app is appalling, I had to go to the lock screen to even close the app. Absolutely unacceptable.
