App has not worked since upgraded my S10 to android 10.

waste of money

This app was great for years. And now it's worthless. After the last update it just spun after opening on my Samsung Galaxy S5. I understand support has been discontinued at this point, but I miss my functional app that worked well and reliably. The replacement doesn't do the trick.

I used iphone version it works great. I don't Android version doesn't work the way should. Screen should not sleep when we run this program display should remain on without any any problem. I don't want to say my screen's to remain on at all the time. Program should be smart to enough to know when it should stay while running such programs. Please tell us what to do in regards to screen problem.

When I first downloaded the app everything worked perfectly! Then after about 24 hours anytime I would open the app all I would get it a black screen. I've restarted my phone and tried to delete and reinstall the app. Nothing is working. This app potentially could get 5 stars

when the one star rating is going to pass the five stars, you know it's bad.This app used to be very good, but now it is horrible. Update January 12, 2016. These guys are really funny they have a lot of sense of humor. All of a sudden want to turn on the app on my phone a message pops up saying that the support for this app has finished. I just got one question to ask. When was there any support for this app before or now? Conclusion: the people who made this app might be smart but they still very stupid.

Its not working at all. I only downloaded this stupid thing so I could watch my child at daycare.

My apology GV. I finally figured it out. In GV Eye, just change stream port from 10000 to 56000 and Bob's your uncle! I find it to be more robust than GVAView. I will keep my older 32bit V1240 card.

Sometimes if you don't have anything good to say, it's better off not saying it.

I have been viewing with all correct up address port etc. Was viewing fine 2 hours ago. Now it says the into is wrong and I can't connect

This app used to be fantastic now it no longer connects to the server, I downloaded the newer version and the info that I have for the old app doesnt work in the new app

Support from Gv aview not working. Upgraded and now have no support. Tells me to go to GV eye don't know how to load cameras to it.

Dear Sir, After update my GA -View to version 1.3.2, i can log in to my CCTV but all the image stop after 2 seconds please help me to rectify this issue immediately. Thanks

I have wasted too much time trying to get this to work.

After support ended it just randomly forgets everything and you have to reenter it all.

Please help me... I got a problem that started 2 days ago. I have no NVR/DVR view tab on android Samsung S6 Android Version 7.0,. Because of that i have no abilty to view my cameras? Please Help!

The app is blanke whats wrong

I use to be able to see now I can't even see to put the camera.

This app sinks!!! It doesn't even open up completely before shutting down!! Takes forever to load... need to do a better job.

Mine always stopped working after probably 3mos.. back to demo... sort of expiration date for the app on my phone?

When I leave my business site I can not access the cameras.

This app is not that clear. When you are watching the video on the phone, if I don't keep tapping the screen every 5 to 10 seconds, it always closes automatically after about 10 seconds. I called my camera compnay to make a complaint and they said for me to change the settings on the phone so it doesn't go to sleep mode after 10 seconds. But that is not the solution. The app should be written so when the app is working the phone is not going to sleep mode. I don't have this problem with the Lorex app.

Just spent 9k on this new system I just had installed in my 13 thousand square feet business just today, I'm really upset with how slow and unresponsive this app is my other system was a lot more responsive and it was 10 years old, this was supposed to be a huge upgrade for me. I really regret this system hope a update is in the very near future.

For all the people that are having problems with her Android phones it is probably because it is not setup correctly, or your web server is not on or you have the wrong port numbers or you do not have a static IP address for your server there's a lot about networking to know. The average public usually can't figure it out. So look before you bash product that works perfect and is free and let a professional look at it first.

Although I have used the system reliably for many years, recent upgrades have been frustrating! Documentation though seemingly complete lacks detailed information. I am sure it is not an easy task to deploy this software/hardware combo to the multitude of different windows hardware combinations. Unless you like a frustrating challenge, you are better off buying an off the shelf security system from Samsung.

As an integrator, one of the most impressive and "wow" moments happen when I setup their mobile devices for remote viewing. I have worked with a variety of manufactures and although Geovision makes excellent camera and fully featured software they definitely fail in the aesthetically pleasing department. The app layout and buttons are crude and looks like was written on a commodore. They could spend a few bucks starting from the ground up. Personally I find "IP Can viewer" to be as good or better for GV cam
